The beginning was definitely great in my opinion. That sense of danger for the MC though is gone by the chapters you mentioned. I also think more information on the businesses would be better since his secretary somehow can do everything💀

Novel was good and solid cultivation universe, unfortunately the chinese power fantasy porn in the real world parts made the novel lose its immersion. Really disappointing reading about stuff that makes no sense lol. Especially when China can enjoy its position today thanks to US investment despite sending fent to our borders and stealing US tech.

It is chinese propaganda, novel is good but author cant hide it and his worldview. Calling a mexican/spanish a “anglo saxon” is funny and acts like the opponents in china he’s gone against haven’t done the same as the supposed US. the comments on SEA are ironic but he does admit the chinese create most of the problems indirectly.
