thanks for the chapter
I dont realy mind but just so you know u have just given royal family name of Sobieski noble family to a merchant... I dont really remember the date in this book but Jan III Sobieski has been elected a king in 1674 (Poland had a elective monarchy) There are many other Polish names that are not associated with nobility/royality I dont really mind tho.
from my understanding they are giving income tax not wealth tax. So its a precentage of their income not everything they have.
With dukes supporting the King they have limited options. They can try to interrupt the reforms but in world of mages and superknights armed rebelion is a suicide
Fun ideas. But not feasible untill couple of hundrets chapters: 1. Mc Has no magic knowledge but only modern earth one. Using knowledge he already has is more optimal and building magic kingdom would defeat the purpose of the setting 2. We dont know if magic can even do that here 3. Some of that ideas would be overcomlicating simple modern solutions (for example magical roads, normal are better cuz they are creating jobs for poor and improving economy and would be much cheaper and easier to implement) 4. Education and reforms are most important. Only later when kingdom is stabilized and in good shape can some of your projects be considered
