This means that the trial is over soon right? Not many more chapters about the trial? I've been saving like 30 chapters so I could read the rest in one sitting (just skimmed through this chapter due to its name).
Why escape? Although she was a bit forceful, nothing about what she said was actually detrimental to you but only beneficial, naturally you can't just trust anyone, but this is still, to his knowledge, only a game so others shouldn't matter too much even if they turned out to have malicious intentions towards him.
Truly corrupt right in the core. I wonder if it's just the humans or if that god of light is also more sinister than his affinity.
I do wonder if this is just his bias talking or if he doesn't know about the shadow magic. If he doesn't know how would he react if he knew that the aunt was in fact a shadow mage. I remember her (as boss of the dungeon) using some shadow spells so it should be true. Would bias against shadow magic win or affection for his aunt. Truly interested in that. That is if he really doesn't know about the shadow magic.
Hey there. I just wanted to give some small feedback on some things that I have noticed the last hundred maybe two hundred chapters. Its regarding a few expressions. I don't know if it's intentional or subconscious but I noticed a few expressions that you can find in almost every chapter. When I think about it, they are really convenient but maybe if it wasn't done on purpose maybe subconsciously, maybe you would want to mix it up a little. In conversations Valyr and other people very often use "then again". I mean it doesn't bother the conversation flow and makes sense when used and I don't have an alternative right now, its still used very often. When describing facial expressions the most common that I have seen are bitter or wry smiles. This is especially with Valyr, I don't remember if others also have those expressions often, but maybe Valyr could have a few other expressions other than these two and his frown which he instantly puts on his face as soon as he is slightly confused without thinking about it a bit more (maybe that's just how frowns work, more like an instinct (could be totally wrong here)). I'm not saying that they are bad but in recent chapters I always chuckle in my mind when I notice one of these three and the number of their use sometimes feels a bit excessive. But I guess I'm not a writer (yet? maybe someday), so I don't really know how convenient these expressions are. Its not like other authors don't have expressions that they use rather often and its not bad, could even be good depending on the expression. Maybe I should have written this in the review section instead of a chapters comment section but oh well. Anyways I just wanted to let you know, if this is helpful then great, if not then just treat everything I wrote here like a fart, after all I'm no professional.
With shadow affinity I guess there is a good chance that he is our devil assassin.
That's what I'm talking about. If you have the option to not play as a human why would ever choose human.
Scanning your thoughts. That's actually super terrifying technology.
OK this is interesting so far. I wonder if our mc Ezekiel is our devil-assassin.
Were these the ones that interacted with Valyr back in the beta? It's been so long Names do kind of seem familiar. Although Belial is a common name in fantasy novels and Tianshen should also be rather common, but it does still ring a bell.
