And I don't think that the ninja world is behind ours in terms of theoretical sciences or mathematics. So having the knowledge of science from Earth wouldn't really give MC much of an edge in the ninja world imo.

The contrast between the current him and the person he becomes by the end of the book is complete black and white. And it happened at such a natural pace as well. Great character dev.
