In regards to concerns about the MC's power in the world using the Ten Shadows. Remember, he is not strictly limited to using just the Ten Shadows. In a sense, it is simply like a Kekkai Genkai exclusive to him. He can still use other jutsu and train his other fields of combat to extraordinary levels to complement and improve the Ten Shadows themselves. The technique is versatile but it can in no way shape or form be able to defeat the top-tier threats in Naruto on its own.
