Each character having their specialised and secretive backgrounds, skills and personality, plus some good dry humour. The plot is fascinating, dark, and unravelled just right. I would honestly pay to read this. Writing quality is excellent, and style 'sparse prose' is easy and fascinating to read.

Excellent, it's a great idea and well written fantasy. It has its period feeling through the writing and the world building is great. Can't decide which army I like best, as they're all very unusual and familiar with a difference.

Great action, lead female is written and developed well, feminine and experienced. Interested in the introduced kilt wearing space marine chapter too. Highly Recommenced
