Hey man thanks for the advise. Yes the problem with this power is that it's perfect for the witcher world, so I plan to send the MC to other worlds before he becomes OP and bring him back later, basically he'll be very strong in the worlds I'll send him to but the worlds themselves will be very dangerous and he won't be able to use the gate to make himself OP, you'll understand in the next chapter so stay tuned !!!
if you snitch, when you go back you find that the cellar is filled with rocks, so it probably got killed by the villagers, or soldiers
Yeah it's a pretty powerful sword, but I like it because the more you use it to hunt different creatures the more powerful it becomes. I'm actually surprised that other fics don't use it
I see, but I'd like to point out that in the witcher world unlike in the magnus world, wizards are trained in 1 or 2 schools and there they have access to most magic knowledge they don't have to fight for it or earn it like in the magnus world in the early stage, most wizards are either nobles or the protegees of other wizards and are very spoiled (In the books alot of mages die in the war against Nilfgaard because they've never been in fight before) and finally mages in witchers naturally live for centuries once they finish training and don't age. So alot of the reasons that mages had to be competitive and cruel in the Magnus world don't exist in the world of the witcher. I'm basing my story on the books and the games right now we're in between the last book and the first game
The reason why i brought pichu (which is the unevolved pikachu) is because it's strong enough to help the MC but not enough to really garner much attention, when it comes to bringing other creatures it probably won't happen because the MC is not a beast tamer, the reason why it worked with pichu is because it's a pokemon and in that world they follow humans willingly, I disagree completly when it comes to everybody hunting it down though it not nearly powerfull or interesting enough to warrant that much attention especially because in the witcher word there are alot more interesting creatures to be studied by those that are interested like giants, vampires, godlings, trolls and many more creatures.A small pichu isn't that unique to be worth hunting down when compared to all the other creatures
When it comes to making plans my thought process was as somebody that know what will happen in the future, He knows that witchers won't stay neutral forever (Like in the Witcher 2) and with all the conflits and wars that will happen it's his best chance for survival. I should have made this more clear in some way in the story like by maybe talking to other witchers and him realising how dangerous the world is. I would appreciate it if you could expand on what you mean when you say the dialogue isn't natural ? Lastly on his power being a pain, that's by design I didn't want him to be too overpowered to quickly and it would force him not to just stay in group but to go out solo in order to use his powers or come up with clever ways to use them
