Love On The Ship (Sanji Genderswap/No Sex)

(Nami's POV)

I woke up to the sound of Luffy and Usopp arguing. 

I sat up in my bed, my entire body screamed from how sore it was. Last night was a terrible one, we had to get past the storm and we were down a man in the deck so we had to pick up the slack. 

I stretched my arms and frowned as the arguing between the idiots got louder. I could hear the annoyance in Usopp's voice as he yelled at Luffy. 

I sighed, "What're they yelling about now...." I muttered

I got up from my bed and made my way to the kitchen where the arguing came from. When I entered it, I saw Usopp grabbing Luffy by the shirt as he yelled at him. 

"We can't just keep going, you fricking idiot!!" Usopp said, "We have to dock somewhere and have him checked out!!!" 

Luffy scowled, "He said he was fine!!!" He yelled, "If we can keep going and meet up with Vivi at her country, we can have some of her people check him." 

"It's too far!!!" Usopp yelled

I rubbed my head as I let out another sigh. They were arguing over Sanji. 

Sanji has been feeling ill for the past couple of days at sea. Ever since we left Little Garden, he wasn't feeling too well. Vivi was taken by Baroque Works at Little Garden and was taken to Alabasta. From the incident we had back there, it seemed she would be fine for the time being but Luffy didn't want to take any chances and wanted to beeline it to Alabasta. But since Sanji has been bed-ridden, the journey wasn't easy. 

We didn't have a cook to make us meals and we also didn't have an extra person helping out in the deck. And last night's storm proved that we needed his help with sailing. I could do it but he's physically stronger than me so it's easier for him. 

"Guys...." I said

I noticed that Zoro was sitting in the corner, his eyes closed, I think he was sleeping. 

"N-Nami!!" Usopp said, "Tell our Captain that we have to go somewhere and have a doctor check on Sanji!" 

"Nami! Tell Usopp that we can hold out till we reach Alabasta!" Luffy said, "Sanji told me himself that he's fine!!" 

"He's anything but fine!" Usopp exclaimed, "His fever has gotten worse and his body shakes every five minutes while sweating pools!! I changed his sheets three times last night!!"

His symptoms have gotten worse. This isn't any illness I have any knowledge of, then again, I am not a doctor. We really have to take him to one. I don't know if he'll better or worse if we just let him be. There could be a risk of him dying for all we know. We really had to do something. 

Usopp then looked at Zoro, "Zoro!" He said, "Say something!" 

Zoro slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me. 

"Nami." He said, "I think it's best if you check on him and give us your input on this." 

"Zoro!" Luffy exclaimed, "What about Vivi?!"

Zoro looked at Luffy, "Forget about her." He said, "Right now, one of our crewmates is ill. Our top priority should be the stupid cook, not the annoying princess." 

Luffy didn't say anything to this. Something told me he knew Zoro had a point. 

I sighed, "Let me go and check on him." I said, "Is he asleep or awake?"

"He's asleep now." Usopp said, "I left him ten minutes ago." 

I nodded, "Okay." I said turning around and walking away

I made my way to the boys' room, having a feeling of unease as I walked. Something told me that it would be bad, to see Sanji in such a condition. Every day that passed, his condition worsened. I agreed with Usopp, we had to stop at an island and have him checked out. 

I entered the room and made my way to the bed where Sanji laid. 

There he was, wrapped in blankets. He had his eyes closed as his face was completely red as he sweated, a rag on his head and all. 

I walked up to him, "Sanji?" I asked

He slowly opened his eyes, "Nami-san...." He said so weakly

I frowned, "Are you okay?" I asked him, "Do you need more medicine?" 

He smiled weakly, "I am fine....." He said hoarsely, "Usopp already gave me some..." 

I nodded, "Sanji, we might need to stop at an island and have you treated." I said, "We don't know what you have, we need an actual doctor." 

He frowned, "But....Vivi-chan...." He said

I shook my head, "I hate to say it but you're our priority right now." I said, "I'll speak to Luffy. If our course is correct, we're next to an Island called Drum Island. From what I hear, they have good doctors. We can have them check you out." 

He nodded, "If...." He said, "If that's what you say is best..."

His voice was getting weaker by the second he spoke. It really did pain me to see him in such a condition. 

I patted him in the shoulder, "Don't worry, Sanji." I told him, "You'll be alright."

"Drum Island?" Luffy said as he sat in front of me

We were back at the kitchen, discussing the next course of action. Zoro and Usopp were outside handling the sailing while I spoke to our captain. 

I nodded, "Yes." I said, "That is our best bet." 

Luffy crossed his arms and frowned, "They got doctors?" 

I nodded, "From what I heard, Yes." I said, "Old man Crocus told me about them too." 

Luffy sighed, "Okay then." He said, "If they have good doctors and Sanji is in a real bad condition, then yes, we should go. As soon as they make Sanji better, we leave to Alabasta and save Vivi." 

I nodded, "Okay." I said, "That's okay." 

He then stood up, "I'll tell the others." He said 

He then walked away. 

I sighed and leaned back on my chair. It was really stressful dealing with such a stubborn captain sometimes but I'm glad he saw reason this time. He knew we needed Sanji healthy by the time we reached Alabasta. He was just worried about Vivi this whole time. 

I looked up at the ceiling, "Okay..." I said, "While we make our way to Drum Island....I'll go check on Sanji...." 

"I hope he doesn't get worse..."

"So what's the issue, Doc?" Luffy asked Dr. Kureha

It's been days since we decided to bring Sanji to Drum Island. Ever since then, we dealt with a lot of problems. 

First, we had the nation's king Wapol crash into our ship and find out that he has all the doctors on his ship. Then, when we make landfall, we find out that Wapol is nothing but a giant jerk who oppressed his people and when they kicked him out, he just left with the doctors. 

But there was one doctor that the people told us about. They told us to make our way to the castle where Dr. Kureha was living. It was a tough journey but Luffy and I barely managed to make our way up the mountains while carrying Sanji's unconscious body to the castle. Zoro and Usopp stayed in the town to deal with Wapol's men who were harassing the townfolk. 

Sanji had gotten way worse, his fever was so bad that his whole body was burning. And he suddenly lost consciousness the moment we made landfall on the island. 

It took minutes of pleading with Dr. Kureha to let us in and have Sanji in a warm bed. She showed nothing but indifference to us at first because were pirates but there was one person who showed Sanji a bit of sympathy. 

It was this weird but cute reindeer that decided to treat Sanji. 

Luffy was talking with Dr. Kureha while the reindeer sat next to Sanji who was sleeping in a much more stable condition. 

I looked at the reindeer, his name was Chopper, while he was wiping sweat off Sanji's forehead. 

"Thank you for helping us." I said warmly with a smile

Chopper looked at me with a neutral look on his face, "I cannot overlook a sick person." He simply said, "It is my duty as a doctor." 

I smiled as he turned back to Sanji. 

"Tell us doctor!!" I heard Luffy yell

I turn to see him flailing his arms around as Dr. Kureha was scowling in annoyance. 

"Would ya shut up, ya stupid brat!!!" Dr. Kureha exclaimed

I walked up to them, "Luffy, stop it!!" I said hitting him in the back on the head

"Ughh!!" He exclaimed in pain as he buckled in pain

I looked at the doctor, "I'm sorry, Doctor." I said, "Please forgive my Captain, he can be a bit too much." 

Dr. Kureha chuckled, "I can tell." She said she took a chug from a bottle

"So do you know what's wrong with him?" I asked her

She shook her head, "That's not up to me to tell you." She said, "I am not the one treating him. It's my foolish little assistant who got ahead of himself and decided to play doctor." 

I then saw Chopper turn to scowl at her, "I....I am a doctor!!" He exclaimed

Luffy turned to see Chopper, "Why's the emergency food talking?!"

Chopper glared at him, "I'm not food!!" 

Dr. Kureha scoffed, "Okay, Doctor Chopper." She said mockingly, "Go on and tell us what's wrong with him." 

Chopper got off the chair and walked up to a desk with several herbs and medical equipment. He then began to work on some sort of concoction; I am not sure. He kept grinding herbs on a mortar pestle quietly. 

"Oi!!" Luffy exclaimed, "You're not gonna tell us anything?!"

"Shut up!" Chopper shouted, "I'm making his medicine!" 

Dr. Kureha walked up to him, "I haven't seen you work this up at all before." she said as she leaned over and inspected the work, "Are you reading off a book, Chopper? Usually you know how to work up medicine off the top of your head. Is this a illness we haven't tackled yet?" 

Chopper nodded, "Doctorine..." He said seriously, "His symptoms align perfectly with an incredibly rare and ridiculous disease that Dr. Hiruluk told me as a bedtime story." 

I watched Dr. Kureha straightened up, "What sorta disease?" 

Chopper then finished up a weird-colored liquid and walked up to Sanji. 

"You know the one...." Chopper said, "He called it the 'Ball Switcher'." 

Chopper then gently opened Sanji's mouth and slowly had him drink it. 

Dr. Kurehad laughed, "You're joking!" she said, "That one??? That crazy Hiruluk, always with his stories." 

Chopper looked at her, "Come and see for yourself, Doctorine." He said seriously

Dr. Kureha walked over and began to inspect Sanji's body, removing the sheets off of him and all. I watched as she even leaned in and smelled the sweat of his skin. 

"This scent...." She said, "Is it....." 

Chopper nodded, "I tested it several times." He said, "His hormones are changing. It is that disease, Doctorine." 

I walked up to them, "Is everything okay?" I asked, "Is sanji going to be alright?" 

Chopper nodded, "Health-wise, he'll be okay." He said, "You brought him at the right time to save his life. I treated him with medicine and everything. He just needs rest." 

I sighed, "Oh thank goodness." I said 

Luffy collapsed on his butt and let out a sigh, "Oh good." 

"But you also brought him in too late." Chopper said

I looked at him, "Eh?" 

Dr. Kurehea straightened up and covered him again, "Yep. I can't believe it, Chopper." She said with a smirk, "We got ourselves a case of the 'Ball Switcher', ha!! If only Hiruluk was here to see this." 

"What the hell is ball switcher????" Luffy asked as he stood back up, "Is Sanji going to be okay? Will he die???" 

Dr. Kureha gave us another smirk, "He? Well, In a way, He will die." She said

I widened my eyes, "You just said he'll be okay!" I exclaimed

"You brought Him here." Dr. Kureha said, "But when the fever passes and the body is healthy again. You'll take Her with you." 

I blinked, "eh?" 

Chopper walked past me as he made his way back to the desk. 

"It is a Gender-Swapping disease." He said, "It is very rare and very ridiculous. Normally it affects animals, but it can also affect humans and the other sentient races of the world."

Luffy looked at him, "G-Gender swapping????" He asked

I looked at Dr. Kureha, "Y-You mean...." 

She nodded, "In a couple of hours, Sanji will no longer be a man." She said, "He'll soon turn into a woman. Permanently." 

"EHHHHH?!?!" Both Luffy and I exclaimed

Chopper then walked past me again, "He'll be okay. His life is no longer in any danger, I treated him." He said, "But I can't prevent the switch. It is too late for that." 

"Yep." Dr. Kureha said, "There's nothing you guys can do. He'll be his usual self when he's a she. But he'll be a she instead. It's gonna take a bit to get used to, for him and you guys, but health-wise, she'll be alright. The change might start in a bit, so I suggest we leave him alone until he's a she." 

I couldn't believe my ear. Sanji was turning into a woman? This was unbelievable. Sanji, the one who loves and adores women, is about to turn into one. I cannot believe what was happening. 

"I did read in a book about a power that can switch genders with the powers of hormones." Chopper said, "If you're interested in switching her back. It might be a devil fruit, I'm not sure...."

"Oh yea." Dr. Kureha said, "Sounds like that one guy from the Revolutionary Army....but I heard he disappeared."

"I'm hungry....." Luffy said as he sat against the wall

I looked at him, "We can have sanji cook us something when he's better." I said, "Or she....I think...." 

We were waiting outside the infirmary, waiting for Sanji's change to fully take place. Dr. Kureha said that there was nothing we could do about the change, just let it happen. 

Chopper walked up to us, "You guys aren't hurt or anything." He said, "Climbing the mountain must've been a hellish experience with the snowstorm." 

I shook my head, "We're fine." I said

Luffy stared at him with a weird look on his eyes, drool dripping from his mouth. 

Chopper then widened his eyes and hid behind me. 

"I-I'm not food, you idiot!!!!" He yelled

I sighed, "Leave him alone, Luffy." 

Luffy sighed and looked away, "Fine...." 

Suddenly, I heard a loud feminine scream. 

"Ahhhh!!!!!!" the voice said, "What the hell?!?!??!"

Both Luffy and I stood up and opened the doors to the infirmary, running inside. 

"Sanji!!" Luffy exclaimed, "Are you okay?!" 

I then stopped and froze as I saw a blonde woman standing in front of a mirror. She had long and lush blonde hair, her body was very curvaceous even more than mine, and she stood a head taller than me. 

I watched as she looked at me, she looked strikingly similar to Sanji except she had very feminine and beautiful features. The only way I was sure it was Sanji was because of the twirly eyebrow. 

"Sanji?" I asked

Sanji who was already turned into a woman looked at us, "What the hell happened to me??" She said

It was odd, hearing her talk. I knew this was Sanji, but her voice was much more high-pitched than it was when she was a man. It was softer and more feminine than his usual masculine voice I'm used to. 

Luffy was frozen in shock as well, he didn't say a word. 

I then felt as Chopper walked past me and towards Sanji. 

"It seems the change is done." He said inspecting Sanji who merely looked at him, "Your body, aside from the changes, looks to be fine. Your fever is clearly gone and you no longer have the sweats. It appears that I successfully cured the life-threatening aspect of this disease." 

Sanji looked at him, "A....." she then widened her eyes, "A TALKING RACOON DOG?!?!?!?!"

Chopper then glared at him, "I'M NOT A RACOON DOG, YOU IDIOT!!!" He yelled, "I'M A REINDEER AND A DOCTOR!!! I SAVED YOUR LIFE!!!"

Sanji then took a step back, "You saved my life???" She said

I walked up to her, "Sanji, calm down!" I said, "We can explain, just take it easy!" 

"H-How can I calm down!?" She exclaimed, "A talking reindeer told me he saved my life! What's going on?!"

"Oh..." Sanji said as she sat on the bed, "So.....that's how it is....." 

She blushed slightly as she looked down. 

"You're not feeling off, right Sanji?" Luffy said, "You're still yourself?" 

She looked up at him, "I am still me, Luffy." She said, "I can still fight and cook. My body feels the same, aside from...the changes....." 

Luffy then laughed, "Haha!" He said, "As long as you're okay and you're yourself, it doesn't matter to me!!" 

Chopper was on the bed and inspecting her body, "Hm...." He said, "It appears that aside from the hormonal changes, the sex change, and everything else, this body is perfectly healthy. I haven't had a case like this ever, so this is quite surreal to me.."

Sanji blushed, "You wanna talk surreal?" She said, "I'm no longer a man, I'm a woman...." 

Chopper then placed his stethoscope on her chest, "Yea well, I used to be a regular reindeer until I ate the Hito Hito no Mi." He said, "The world is a weird place, this isn't the weirdest thing ever." 

"It is for me." Sanji said

"So, reindeer!" Luffy said, "Can we leave already?" 

"I don't think that's possible." I heard Dr. Kureha say

I turned to look at her, "What's the problem?" 

"Wapol." she said, 

"He's here." 

*******************************************

"Is that really you, Sanji?" Usopp asked Sanji who sat in the chair 

We were back on The Merry. After fighting off Wapol and saving Drum Island from his tyranny, we were finally back on sea. We had Sanji as a new person and we also had one more member on our crew. 

"She's really Sanji." Chopper said sitting on the table

Zoro and Usopp were inches close to Sanji, looking at her face who were merely blushing and looking away. 

"W-Why're you too close???" She asked

"Well, I did see her kick the shit out of Wapol's men...." Usopp said, "But you got to be kidding me, a gender-swapping disease?!"

"Is this really the idiot cook?" Zoro asked

"S-Shut up, stupid marimo!!" Sanji exclaimed

Zoro backed up and began laughing, "Hahahha!!!" He said clutching his stomach, "This is hilarious!! The woman-loving dumbass cook turned himself into a woman!!!! Hahahahaha!!!" 

Sanji stood up while blushing, "T-This isn't funny!!!" She exclaimed, "I almost died!!" 

Then, she stormed out of the kitchen, slamming the door on her way out. 

Zoro was on the ground, laughing. He was really getting a kick out of all of this. I noticed that the door being slammed woke Luffy up who was asleep on the floor. 

"Huh?" He said, "Time for food?" 

"Man...." Usopp said, "I guess she's taking it hard, huh?" 

"It is to be expected." Chopper said as he ate a sandwich, "Her whole world changed overnight. Give her some time." 

"Of course, Doctor." Usopp nodded

"Oh man...." Zoro said as he stood back up, "Haven't had a laugh that hard since.....well....it's been a while." 

I sighed, "You idiot." I said, "You hurt her feelings. I'll go talk to her, if she's in a bad mood, she might not cook for us. And none of you idiots can cook." 

Chopper nodded, "It is wise to be nice to the cook in her current fragile state." He said

Luffy drowsily nodded as well, "Yea...." He said, "I'm getting hungry. Can you talk to her, Nami? I wanna eat...."

I stood up, "Sure." I said, "You better apologize later, Zoro." 

Zoro frowned, "Why would I?" He said, "If it happened to me, she'd laugh too." 

I glared at him, "But it didn't, so show some damn compassion." I growled, "Don't be such an ass." 

I then turned around and walked away. 

A couple of minutes later, I was sitting on Sanji's bed while she laid on it, covered up and facing the bed. 

She didn't say anything when I walked in, I was worried about how she was doing. It is a really tough thing to go through, such a massive change in your life. You go your whole life living as someone you're comfortable being, then suddenly you get this change that you might not be able to get used to. 

"Sanji..." I said to her, "Are you okay?" 

"Leave me alone, Nami-san...." She said with a weak and soft voice

"I understand what you're going through." I told her, "It's scary having this sudden change to your body, to you as a whole." 

"Do you really understand?" She said shakily, "My whole world just changed.....I'm no longer the man I used to be...."

I nervously laughed, "I mean, you love women, Sanji..." I said, "Isn't it nice that you suddenly got a woman's body? I mean, I figured you'd react differently than this. I thought you'd be excited!" 

I tried to lighten the mood by joking like that. I knew that she's somehow taken this harder than we expected. I was right though, she did react differently than I expected. The Sanji that we're so used to would be excited to be in a woman's body due to his perversion, but to my shock, that's not the case. 

"....Sanji?" I asked

She didn't respond to what I said. I looked at her, I saw the back of her head. She had long and beautiful blonde hair. I never really noticed how pretty Sanji's hair was before, mostly because it was a man's hair. But now I've noticed how nice it looked. It had that beautiful blonde glow that illuminated the shadows of the bunk bed she was laying in. 

"I'm sorry that this is happening to you..." I said, "But....we need you. We're going to Alabasta to help Vivi, we need our cook with us. Chopper said that your body's strength hasn't changed and your cooking skills haven't changed a single bit. You're still the same old Sanji, right?" 

"No..." She said, "I'm not....the old Sanji.....he was a man...." 

I sighed, "I know...." I said leaning and gently holding her shoulder, "But we're in a dire situation. After we help Vivi out, we can focus on how to get your body back to normal." 

"Chopper said it was permanent." She said

"Yea, but Dr. Kureha mentioned a power to use hormones, a devil fruit related one." I said, "Apparently, those powers can change you back. If we can find the user, we can turn you back to your old self, how's that sound?" 

"The user disappeared...." She said, "The Grand Line is a massive place, there's no way we're going to find that person so easily. Might as well give up." 

I let out another sigh, "Okay." I said, "You're right. If you want, I'll go and sub in for you. The boys are hungry and they were looking forward to your cooking." 

I stood up, and began to make my way out the boy's room. 

"Wait." I heard her say

I stopped and turned around. I saw that she sat up and was looking at me. Her beautiful dark eyes were looking at me with unexpected glimmer. 

"Hm?" I said

"Y-you mean it?" She asked, "They're looking forward to my cooking?" 

I nodded, "Yea." I said, "They always are." 

She then stood up and shyly walked towards me, "I'll cook then..." She said while blushing

Wow. I knew that her mood might change due to the sudden change, but this is completely unexpected. I didn't foresee Sanji acting like this, but I suppose it's the hormones. I am used to them because I've lived my whole life as a woman, but to her, who just turned into one, I assume it's a big thing to deal with. 

I gave her a smile, "Alright then." I said

"Man, Sanji, you're cooking as good as ever." Luffy said with a massive grin 

He was stuffing his face in with loads of meat that Sanji cooked for him. She went all out on preparing a feast for us. She had a massive smile the whole time she cooked. Man or woman, Sanji always enjoyed cooking. 

I guess that as long as she cooks, she'll be happy. It should keep her mind off the whole situation, I hope. We can't have her be in a depressive mood the whole time. 

I merely ate the pasta she made for me. I looked around the table, Zoro and Usopp were eating their food as usual. Chopper was shyly eating as well. He was having a bit of trouble of settling in with the crew but he'll soon get used to it. 

Sanji had sat down and was eating some steak she had prepared for herself. She had a bright and warm smile on her face while she did so. 

So far, everything has been good. It was nice to have some peace in the ship. There was the whole issue with Vivi and her country. Luffy had promised to help her out and that's exactly what we're going to do. I hope she can hold out till we get there, I wonder if she's not terribly hurt. 

I then cleared my throat, "Okay, time for the elephant in the room." i said standing up

Everyone looked at me with a confused look. 

"Huh?" Zoro said

"Our cook here has gone through a change, obviously." I said gesturing at Sanji, "Now, that Sanji is a girl, there's some things that'll change. Clearly, she still has her skills as a fighter and a cook, so that'll stay the same."

Sanji blushed slightly and looked away quietly. 

"Yea, that's all that matters." Luffy said with a mouth full of food, "So what?" 

"Swallow your food." Usopp said annoyed

"Yes, but there are thins to be put as limits." I said, "For the time being, until she gets used to this whole ordeal, all of you, and I mostly mean you, Zoro, will be nice to her."

Zoro raised his eyebrow, "Huh?" He said

I gave him a glare, "I mean it." I growled

He gulped and looked away, "O-Okay...." He said

"Then there's the bedding situation." I said, "She'll stay in my room from now on. She's a woman. And a lady cannot sleep in a room fill of you men." 

"Huh???" Luffy said, "But Sanji has always slept with us." 

"Yea, Nami, I don't see how it's any different if she stays with us." Usopp said

"Chopper will take her old bed." I said, "I'll get another mattress for her. My room is clearly the bigger one so there's room."

Chopper nodded, "That's fine by me." 

"I'll sleep with you?" Sanji asked, "Is that okay with you, Nami-san?"

I nodded with a smile, "Of course!" I said, "I don't mind having you sleep with me. It'll be fun! It's like having a sister!" 

She blushed and looked away, "O-Okay...." She said, "It's fine by me..."

"Of course it is." Zoro scoffed, "Only you would love to sleep in a room with Nami. You've spent countless hours begging her to let you in her room back when you were a dude." 

Sanji looked at him with a hurt face. Truthfully, I didn't expect Sanji to react to Zoro's comments this way. I fully expected her to snap at him like she usually does but maybe this is due to her newfound female hormones. It'll probably take her a while to get used to them. 

I glared at Zoro, "What. Did. I. Say?"

Zoro looked away, "Right..." He said, "S-Sorry, Sanji..." 

Sanji nodded, "I-It's fine..." She said

I then nodded, "Okay." I said, "Now that we got that out of the way, we must prepare for Alabasta, okay?" 

They all nodded. 

"Good." I said, "Vivi is waiting for us."

"Nami-san?" I heard Sanji's voice call out

I opened my eyes and sat up. It was the middle of the night, I could hear the sound of the waves gently hitting the ship as the whole thing rocked slowly. 

I looked to see Sanji sitting up next to me, she was wearing one of my night-time pajamas, although they seemed to fit her a bit too tight. She was a bit taller and more voluptuous than I was. 

I frowned, "Is something the matter?" I asked

She blushed and looked down, "I..." She started, "I'm sorry. It's stupid. I shouldn't have woken you.." 

I shook my head, "No no." I said, "Don't worry, I'm here for you. Tell me, what is it?" 

She sighed, "I...." She said, "I had a nightmare." 

I blinked. 

Sanji, our Sanji, was bothered by a nightmare. I couldn't believe it. I never thought I'd see the day where this would happen. 

I nodded, "O-Okay, I'm sorry to hear that." I said, "Do you want to talk about it?" 

She looked away, "It's a bit...." She started, "It's a bit too hard to speak of....really...." 

I patted her shoulder, "It's okay." I said softly, "Just tell me what it is..."

"I..." She started, "I was reminded of my childhood...." 

"Oh." I said a bit confused

Why would she have a nightmare about her childhood. I knew she spend the majority of it at Baratie, working for Zeff. But other than that, I didn't know much. I didn't know why she would have a nightmare about working at Baratie. I know Zeff is a bit of a hard-ass but not a monster for someone like Sanji to have a nightmare about him. 

"W-Wait..." I said, "You...didn't you work with Zeff in your childhood? I didn't know it was that bad..." 

She shook her head, "That's not what I meant." She said softly, ".....The thing is..." 

She choked up, trying hard not to cry. I didn't know what was the reason she was feeling this way. Frankly, I was getting worried about it. What could've happened to her when she was a child, back when she was a he? 

"What is it?" I asked, "You can talk to me." 

She looked at me with tears in her eyes, "Can you keep a secret?" She asked

I nodded, "Yes." I said, "You can trust me?"

"When I first saw myself in the reflection, when I woke up back at Kureha's castle...." She started, "I was immediately reminded of her..." 

"Of who?" I asked

She wiped the tears away and sniffed, "M-My....mother...." 

Her mother? Sanji's mom? She never once mentioned her. I mean, obviously, everyone should have a mother but considering that none of us have once ever mentioned our parents, save for Usopp just briefly, it's odd hearing that one of my crewmates has a mother. 

"Your mom?" I asked, "Is..."

"She passed." She started, "A long time ago...." 

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that." I said

"I...." She said, "I am a spitting image of her..."

"I see." I said, "So....about your childhood...." 

"It was terrible..." She sniffed, "I.....I was abused...a lot...by my siblings...." 

I blinked. Sanji, she had siblings...It was really strange hearing about this. 

"They constantly beat me..." she said, "And my father neglected me. Called me a failure.....I....."

She then covered her face and began to cry. Her entire body was shaking as she sobbed. 

I immediately hugged her, "Hey hey..." I said softly, "It's okay, don't cry." 

"B-But...." She cried, "I...."

"Shh...." I said, "It's okay, you're no longer there anymore. They cannot hurt you anymore." 

I didn't know the exact details of what had happened to her. But I can only understand that it was bad enough to make her runaway and end up with Zeff. Either way, I don't want her thinking of that time during her current emotional state. She needs to get used to her new self, the old and emotionally strong Sanji that we all depend on. 

"I...miss her.." She sobbed

"Your mother?" I asked

"Y-Yes..." She said 

I then moved her hands out of the way, seeing her teary eyes. They were so beautiful. Her face was so pretty, so soft and feminine. 

My heart skipped a beat when I looked at her, I didn't know why. There was something about looking at her, her beauty, her shyness, her new personality. I knew this was Sanji but it was as if I was looking at someone completely different. It was hard to explain, I didn't know why I felt like this. 

"Hey..." I whispered, "It's fine. With me, you won't have to worry about a thing." 

"R-Really?" She asked

I nodded, "Yes." I said leaning to her and patting her cheek, "I'll stay by your side, no matter what. We're crewmates. You can trust me."

She nodded, "O-Okay..." 

Then, I did something without even thinking. I leaned in and gently kissed her on the lips. They were soft and sweet, I was taken by surprise. 

Sanji slightly jumped when I kissed her. I held her by the waist as I kissed her for a bit longer, my tongue wrapping around hers. 

My entire body began to get a bit hotter than usual as I kissed her, her body melting as I did so. 

Sanji then pulled back, blushing fiercely. 

"N-Nami-san...." She said, "Why'd you do that?" 

I blinked, "Uhm..." I said, "I....don't know...." 

That's right. I don't know why I did that. I have no fricking clue why I did that. I just kissed her without warning, why did I do that? 

"S-Sorry..." I said as I still held her by the waist

"It's fine...." She said, "But....that was my.....first....." 

I widened my eyes, "What?" 

She looked away, "It...." She said, "Was my first kiss..." 

"Are you serious??" I gasped, "Sanji.....are....are you a virgin???" 

She slowly nodded, "Y-Yes..." 

I blushed, "Oh..." 

I didn't know how to feel about that. I never expected the womanizer that Sanji was to be a virgin. I expected her to have at least a couple of women, but none? I couldn't believe it, she was full of surprises. 

"I-Is it okay....." She said, "Is it okay if we go back to sleep?" 

I nodded, "S-Sure..." I said, "Sorry about this.." 

She smiled, "It's....it's okay..." She said, "Sorry to wake you, have a good night, Nami-san..." 

She then laid back down and turned around. 

I sighed and did the same, trying to go back to sleep. I cannot believe I did that, kissed her while she was in a fragile emotional state. 

It is exciting though. To have another woman on the crew, I mean. I didn't expect to do this to her, though. I would like to apologize about this tomorrow, hopefully, she doesn't tell the guys.

"So." I heard Zoro say as we stood on the deck of The Merry, "What're you gonna do about clothes? You gonna stick to your suits?"

I turned to see Sanji wearing one of her old suits. They were tall enough for her, but they looked a bit too baggy for her. She was a bit muscular when she was a man. Her chest and hips did see to fit in a bit too tightly, that's for being a bit too curvy for her sake. 

It just looked off, seeing her in a man tailored suit. I understood why she was wearing it though, she didn't want to take from my wardrobe even when I told her it was a fine. 

"What's wrong with them?" Sanji asked Zoro

Zoro looked at her, "Are you joking?" He said, "You used to brag about how you had all your suits tailored to fit you perfectly. Now that you're a woman, the proportions are all off. If you're adamant about wearing suits, I suggest you get them remade or something." 

Sanji looked at him, "I see." She said, "Thanks." 

Zoro then looked away, flustered, "It feels wrong talking to you normally." He said, "Where's the damned cook who always says something back to me? Whatever then...." 

Zoro then walked away. 

I walked up to Sanji, she stood by the railings of the ship. Her hair was loose and it fluttered in the wind. She looked so pretty like this, it made my heart flutter a bit. 

"H-Hey.." I said

She looked at me with a warm smile, "Nami-san!" She said, "Did you enjoy the breakfast I prepared for you?" 

I nodded, "Yes." I said, "It was delicious." 

She smiled even more, "I'm glad."

"Listen." I said, "About last night..." 

She then blushed, "Oh, uhm, it's okay." She said, "Being kissed by you is a blessing for someone like me...." 

I blushed slightly, "Oh..." I said softly, "I see. O-Okay then...." 

She patted my shoulder, "We'll talk about it later." She said, "In the meantime, we can discuss our approach to Alabasta." 

I nodded, "Right." I said, "We're close to it after all."

"Oiiiiiii...." I heard Usopp call out

I turned to see him in the lookout's nest with a telescope. 

"What's wrong???" I asked him

"We got a big problem!!!" He yelled

"What is it?" Sanji asked

"I think those are Baroque Works ships making their way towards us!!!" He said, 

"We're about to have a battle!!!"
