Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Meta Player

I died, I met an Omnipotent being, and he granted me some wishes. Pretty cliche at this point, right? Can't get any originals in these times, am I right? But that's where the cliches stop. Why? Well, what do you think my wish was? To be overpowered? To have a massive, useless harem? No, god no. I hate harems, damn it! (Ahem ahem, but some worlds are exceptions.) So what was my wish? Pretty original, I wanted to be a Multiverse myself! Not as in own a Multiverse. But as in be a literal Multiverse myself! Pretty cool, right? But what kind of Multiverse did I become? Simple, I became a Parasitic Multiverse, where I would send pieces of myself to different Multiverses and copy their sources of powers and such to make myself even stronger than them! Comics like Marvel, DC, Invincible, movies like Transformers, Godzilla, Harry Potter, cartoons like Rick and Morty, TMNT, Kung Fu Panda, animes like Dragon Ball, Bleach, Naruto, and games like God of War, Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry! I want them all, I want every power available in each and every one of them! So I sent my soul pieces to every one of them! But not as overpowered beings. Nah, that would be boring. I don't want to just copy their powers, I want to experience and venture around too! So what about this soul piece? What's it going to do, and what Multiverse will it go to? Doesn't the damn title make it obvious?! This is the tale of my soul piece going to the Yu-Gi-Oh GX (yugioh GX) to become the king of games, and bring the horror and disgust of the Meta and Rogue Decks of his timeline to these poor souls! Watch as he brings them all down with 50 minute (hour, really) combos and makes them regret dueling! Get some popcorn, drinks and snacks, cause it's showtime!

CH 13: Making a New Deck

Alistair :"I had a crazy dream last night..."

Zane :"Your dreams are always crazy, Alistair."

Alistair :"Last night, i dreamt that i was swimming in an ocean of orange soda... turns out it was just a fanta sea..."

Zane :"Haaah..."

--------------------------

As Poplar held his hand, he brought Alistair's hand on to the sandwich bag with the strongest duel spirit he could sense :"(Kyu!)" Knowing if he spoke up the others would hear him, Poplar spoke to him telepathically.

"(It's this one? Alright then, let's take it. I don't care about the flavor, I just want good cards anyway.)"

As he grabbed the bag, he felt Poplar's touch turn into a phantom touch again before he pulled back his hand. Opening the bag, he couldn't help but take a deep breath at the delicious smell :"Damn, whatever flavor this is, it be bussin~."

Zane looked inside before smiling :"Congratulations, Al, you just got the first golden egg sandwich of the school year. Guess your luck isn't half bad. What about the car you got?"

Looking again, he saw a card in a transparent container in the bag. Makes sense, since the card would be ruined if the sandwich rubbed directly on it.

Pulling it out, their eyes widened in shock. Zane gasped :"Chaos Emperor Dragon?! Alistair, your luck is something else!"

Dorothy was shocked as well :"Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End?! Alistair, you're really lucky! This card is very valuable! Thanks to its effect, it can go for 100,000 DP here!"

His eyes widened even more :"100,000?! Isn't that 10,000 dollars?! I get that it's amazing, but this card's price is so much?!"

Zane nodded :"It's understandable when you think about it. After all, the effect of wiping the entire board and the hands and possibly ending the duel by itself isn't to be taken lightly."

Alistair was speechless :"Yeah, that I get. But 10k... Jesus Christ..."

'But I guess it's understandable. After all, this is 2005. This card was banned and got errata-ed even after 20 years. This is just busted for this era. After all, it's one of the first cards that got banned!'

[Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End: Dragon/ Effect/ Dark/ Lv 8/ 3,000 ATK/ 2,500 Def

Effect(s): Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. Once per turn: You can pay 1000 LP; send as many cards in both players' hands and on the field as possible to the GY, then inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card sent to the opponent's GY by this effect. You cannot activate other cards or effects during the turn you activate this card's effect.]

He grinned :"Well, it's mine now!" Before remembering something :"Wait... oh, shit, I have Yata-Garasu too... oh no... oh nohohoho..."

Seeing him break into a mischievous snicker, Zane raised an eyebrow :"What happened? What about Yata-Garasu?" Sighing with a grin, he pat Zane's shoulder :"You'll know in the future, pal. Just let me get the missing piece, and you'll see. And you won't like it."

Zane frowned, but just shrugged :"Alright then, I'll look forward to what you'll do, I guess." Making him chuckle :"You won't. Believe me."

As he looked at the sealed card, something caught his attention. An energy inside of the card. His eyes widened, and when he focused, he grew even more shocked :'Oh, shit, this card has a duel spirit too?!'

After bonding with Poplar, he had found out he could sense the energy of duel spirits as well. First Darklord had already told him he would be able to, and he found out it was true by sensing the duel spirits in his deck.

So when he sensed the duel spirit of Chaos Emperor Dragon, he was beyond surprised. But it was definitely a pleasant one :'Yes, another powerful duel spirit in the bag! Although I can't bond with him yet, the more the merrier for when I eventually can!'

He put the card in his pocket with a grin, before stepping aside :"Well, go ahead and try your lock, Zane." But Zane shook his head :"You do it."

Alistair smirked :"What, wanna use my luck?"

"Yes, but for your own card? My deck is already very strong, so you can choose my sandwich, and can keep the card if you want. I'll just take the sandwich itself for breakfast."

"Wait, really?"

Zane smiled :"Yeah, take it as another gift."

Alistair grinned, high-fiving him :"You're the best, man! I promise I'll make it up to you later!"

Zane chuckled :"I'm not doing this for you to owe me one. It's just a small treat between friends."

Alistair winked :"Well, you can expect small "treats" from me later too. But thanks, I mean it."

"You're welcome. Then just pick me one with a good flavor."

"Then let's try my luck again!"

Grabbing his hand, Poplar guided his hand in the sea of sandwiches again. Poplar looked around, thoughtful, before a special duel spirit caught his attention. With a thoughtful squeak, he made up his mind and pulled Alistair's hand to grab that sandwich.

Pulling it out as Poplar went spirit mode again, he opened it right away. Taking out the card container, he handed the sausage sandwich to Zane. When they looked at the card, both of them turned thoughtful.

Zane :"Cyber-Stein? That's an interesting card to get."

[Cyber-Stein: Machine/ Effect/ Dark/ Lv 2/ 700 ATK/ 500 Def

Effect(s): You can pay 5000 LP; Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck in Attack Position.]

"That's true... you don't seem to like it?"

"It's not that. It's just that although this card is amazing, it's useless normally. After all, with just 4,000 LP, just using this card will cause you to lose."

"That's true." Alistair hummed, but Zane could hear the gears turning in his head as he smiled :"But which card could ever be useless in my hands? I think I can get some amazing benefits from this card."

Zane stared at him for a moment, before giving a small smile :"True. I feel like if anybody could make this card shine, it would be you."

Alistair raised an eyebrow :"You seem to have a very high opinion of me."

"And for good reasons. Believe me, I'm not one to give empty praises."

"Hahahaha, well, you do have a point. Just wait and see, I'll make this card into a star."

As Zane handed his bag back, he smiled at the ladies :"Alright, I'm done here. Thanks, Dorothy, Sadie. I got really lucky today."

As they smiled, Dorothy nodded :"You're welcome, sweetie. Now if you ever need new cards, you know where to find me."

He nodded :"Glad to hear that. Then if you'll excuse us, we'll be going now. See you later!"

As they walked out, the two waved :"See you later, boys! Don't be strangers!"

After exiting, Zane guided him to the first years' classroom.

"Alright, this is your classroom, Al."

"Thanks a lot for sparing your morning for me, man."

Zane slapped his shoulder :"Hey, what are friends for? Don't worry, it's nothing. And since we still have time till the classes start, use this chance to make a deck. Who knows which one of these fools will pick a fight with you for no reason. There are 5 cards in each pack and you've got 20 of them, so you'll probably manage to make something decent."

"Yeah, I'll do that. Thanks again!" As Zane walked away, he waved without looking back :"You're welcome."

Walking into the classroom, he looked around :'It's just like the Tag Force classroom.' Walking down the stairs, he sat down behind the third desk from above. Each desk could be occupied by four students, so he sat down on the far right (left from the front) so he wouldn't be surrounded by two people.

Putting the two bags, one with the cards and one with the sandwich, he took out his two new cards, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End and Cyber-Stein :"Hey, you two awake?"

"About time." A deep voice echoed, sending shivers down his spine from the power it contained before two black lights exited the cards.

As they moved to the open space of the classroom, they expanded. One to the size of a human, before its light disappeared and Cyber-Stein appeared, and the other two a full size of 10 meters before Chaos Emperor Dragon appeared.

Although Alistair was an asshole, he was a polite one. So het up to greet the two :"Hello, you two, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Cyber-Stein nodded, making a mechanical sound since he wasn't able to speak. Chaos Emperor Dragon nodded as well :"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, human child."

"When did you wake up? You seemed asleep when I saw you."

"I woke up after sensing the energy of a particularly powerful duel spirit protecting you. However, since I knew you wouldn't be able to speak in public, I didn't want to trouble you."

"Huh, you're a very considerate... person? Dragon?"

"I wouldn't call it being considerate. I just have basic manners."

"Well, most people don't have that either, so I think it's still considerate of you. Thanks anyways."

"You're welcome I suppose. Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you again. As you already know, I'm known as Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, and this is Cyber-Stein. And you are?"

"Oh, sorry for the late introductions. I'm Alistair Aliyev. And as you may have already guessed, I want you in my deck. Do you have any problems with that?"

"Alistair, I see that you are not only special, but also a polite child, and I'm glad to see that. But even though a human who can interact with duel spirits is extremely rare, it's not enough to use my power.

But seeing how many powerful duel spirits are protecting you, that already speaks of your skills. However, I want to see those skills for myself. I'll give you a small test.

Using those new cards, make a deck. If the strategies and tactics of this deck are to my satisfaction, I will happily accept you as my new master and help you to the best of my abilities.

But if not, I hope you won't be sad about me not finding you worthy enough to wield my power. I have high standards for my master, after all. So what will it be? Will you accept this test?"

Unlike what Chaos Emperor Dragon had expected to see, nervousness and fear of failure, he saw the young man's lips stretch into an evil smirk, with his eyes turning sharp and confident :"Then this makes convincing you even easier. Alright then, I'll show you that I'm worthier for your power than any of your previous masters."

Chaos Emperor Dragon was startled. For a child of his age, the boy named Alistair seemed very confident in his abilities. Without hesitation, he poured out the booster packs onto the table and opened them one by one.

A few minutes later, when he had opened everything and made a deck, he began to draw from the 40 card deck. He held up two cards with a smirk :"You know what these two are? Foolish Burial and Kidmodo Dragon."

[Foolish Burial: Normal Spell

Effect(s): Send 1 monster from your Deck to the GY.

-

Kidmodo Dragon: Dragon/ Effect/ Earth/ Lv 3/ 100 ATK/ 200 Def

Effect(s): If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand. You cannot (Special Summon monsters, except Dragon-Type monsters, nor) conduct your Battle Phase, the turn you activate this effect. (You can only use this effect of "Kidmodo Dragon" once per turn.)]

(A/N: Guys, from now on, the effects that are in () either don't exist, or have been altered. Why? Cause why not? We're planning to cause traumas, and doing this will allow maximum efficiency mwahahaha!)

Alistair really had to admit, he loved his system. Because he could slightly change the effects of cards that he obtained through the system and didn't exist yet. However, what he could change was limited, and it depended on how strong he himself was.

Originally, he couldn't do anything like this. But after his soul advanced to Level 1, he obtained this ability. Now, he could change the effects slightly. Such as taking away the "once per turn" of weak monsters like Kidmodo Dragon.

"Once he is sent to the graveyard, I can special summon one Dragon-Type monster from my hand, no matter the level. Although there's a drawback, it's nothing in front of the gains."
