Time For Reunion?

Lu Feng exited the Lotus Plaza and flew up into the sky on his sword. He originally wanted to stay and elaborate more about the pills and the pair of daggers he gifted, so that the two shameless elders who started to call him nephew would appreciate his gifts even more.

But something in his pants started vibrating vigorously, almost making his toes curl, fearing it would be a tent pole moment if he delayed it any longer, Lu Feng decided to bolt.

He started to think about whether he should use it to his advantage and greet his new family.

While reading about the geography and powers of this world, he found out that this world is far and away the largest he'd ever been in, and there were several known and unknown continents; with some continents having the span of an entire world.

If he ever wanted to reach the upper echelons and see a bit of the world, he'd have to be nominated to the continental council.

The continental council controlled numerous special resources and gathered the top geniuses of the continent.

It was the only way if he ever wanted to cross continents, as the continents are separated by a powerful barrier operated by the respective continental councils; they were, in essence, similar to a Central Government.

The question came down to whether Lu Feng wanted to be in the race to be the top dog, explore this vast world, and maybe carve a slice of his own.

Realizing that he'd been hovering in the air like a fool all this time, he zoomed in the direction of his soon-to-be-opened shop.

Walking into the building, Lu Feng caught the attention of Song Jin and Hai Jingzi, who were instructing the craftsmen on the decoration of the interiors.

"Brother Lu, you finally came!" Song Jin walked over to Lu Feng.

Looking at the neatly decorated interiors and rows of glass cases, Lu Feng couldn't help but smile as he said, "I didn't expect it to be done so soon, good job!"

"We just had to knock down some partitions and redo the outside, the building was originally meant to be used as one large unit after all. I hope the interiors are to your liking, Brother Lu," Song Jin explained as they walked through the store.

Lu Feng nodded and grabbed a space pouch from his storage ring. He extended Song Jin's arm and placed the pouch in his hand.

"That's one Origin Crystal, worth a million Spirit Crystals, add it to the store's books. You don't need to hesitate, we want the absolute best."

Song Jin, who now had a grin plastered on his face, placed the pouch in his storage ring with no hesitation.

Song Jin and Lu Feng started discussing the details of the shop. Hai Jingzi who was overhearing the conversation, walked up to the two and interjected.

"But we almost exhausted the budget. Since Brother Lu just gave me more funds to work with, I'll have the building finished in no time and I'll make sure it's best in class."

Lu Feng nodded in approval.

The ever-inquisitive Hai Jingzi had another question and when Song Jin and Lu Feng looked at him raising his hand sheepishly, he spoke with some hesitation.

"Brother Lu, isn't this a waste of money if we are to open the shop soon? Wouldn't it have been better if we bought the necessary materials for the pills? The seeds and saplings won't be usable for a while right?"

With a smile, Lu Feng replied, "You're right, these won't be helpful in the short term, I asked you to procure them so I could have them planted. I already bought the necessary materials, formations, and equipment for pill refining.

"By the way, did you guys scope out the market like I asked?"

Song Jin nodded his head and took out a scroll from his storage ring.

"I've made a list. As you asked, these are the pills with the combination of large demand, high price, and difficult to refine. Currently, most of the supply of these pills is from the continental council, the Baihu Clan, Holy Palace, and Pill City.

Lu Feng nodded his head, "Makes sense. I'll look at the materials at hand and decide on the selection..."

Lu Feng exited the building, got on his sword, and zoomed into the sky. Flying high up, Lu Feng looked at the city below. Spotting a large field of green, Lu Feng figured out the location to be the leisure park he saw on the board at the city gate.

Landing on the luscious grass of the park, Lu Feng looked around. It was a cloudy late afternoon and there were already spirit stone lamps placed around the park. Some people were meditating, some were practicing with their weapons, and some were just lying on the grass, relaxing.

Lu Feng found an isolated corner near the pond. He donned the copper medallion and hid the pair of Immortal daggers in his sleeves.
