"Maxx?" they all looked at Maxx and the boy removed the knife from Renz's face. "Don't interfere with if you don't want to get hurt." The boy said.

"I-I already called the police so you guys leave if you don't want to get caught," Maxx said.

"Do you think we will believe you?" the man laughed and walked closer to Maxx.

"H-here" Maxx showed his cellphone with the police station number. For a few moments, they heard a siren noise. And the three men started to panicked.

"Weee-oww-Wee-oww" the siren sounds.

"boss we need to leave." The other man said.

"Damn it!" said the leader and he looked like he was panicking as well. And they quickly ran away. Maxx steps closer to Renz and Ryle. "Are you guys okay? She asked worriedly.

"Y-yes we're okay thanks to you," Renz answered.

"Thanks, Maxx" Ryle sincerely said.

"A-ahm I'm not the only one you should thank," Renz and Ryle looked at each other and were confused. "Vyrie came out now!" Maxx called Vyrie and she came out to the side because she was hiding. She ran closer to them while carrying the small speaker. "Wee-oww-wee-oww" the siren sound still noise while Vyrie came closer to them. "You can turn off the speaker now," Maxx said to Vyrie. "Are you guys okay? did they leave?" Vyrie said worriedly. "Yes we're okay but no police came? Renz asked. "Yes, we planned that police is coming to scare them. But we just sounded the siren on the speaker to make it look like the police were coming." Vyrie begins to explain what happened. "Maxx and I saw you together and we wondered what you two were doing here so we followed you. Then we saw that you two were blocked by three men so we made a way to help you guys and it was successful." Vyrie added.

"There are not enough words of gratitude for what you two did but... Thank you. I really mean it." Renz sincerely said.

"We appreciate your help" Ryle added.

"let's go to Maxx's house so you can relax because you two been pale. Right, Maxx?

"Eh? S-sure" Maxx answered.

"I almost forgot, what are you two doing here?" Vyrie asked the two as they walked. Renz started telling the whole story from where they had the accident and why they were riding in the jeep and why they came to this place. Maxx's questions were answered in her mind when she heard Renz's story and Vyrie was surprised and said that they were both unlucky. They keep talking until they reached Maxx's house.

"We're here," Maxx said. "Our house is not as big as yours but I hope you guys feel comfortable. " Maxx added.

"I-its okay" Renz respond. And ryle nodded.

Vyrie and Maxx came in first and Vyrie greeted Maxx's mom. And the two boys followed them.

"How's school Maxx? Is your seatmate bothering you again?" Her mom asked. "M-mom let's not talk about it, I have guests". She pointed her hand to Renz and ryle. Her mother was amazed at the handsomeness of the two. "I didn't notice you two, come in and sit down. Maxx's mother said. "I'm Maxx's mother" she added. "I'm Renz and he's my brother Ryle." Renz introduced themselves. "We are Maxx classmates. It was nice to meet you Mrs?" Renz added. "You can call me Auntie," Maxx's mom said with a smile on her face and the two nodded. "Sit down and I'll go to the kitchen" she added. "Thank you auntie" Renz and ryle.

"Psh! Maxx look at those two, I think they're kind." She whispered.

"Maybe they are hypocrites tsk," Maxx replied.

A few minutes ago Maxx's mom came back with some food and laid it on the table. "I cooked that. did you eat pancit? Maxx mom asked the two.

"W-what is pancit auntie?" Ryle asked.

"Mom, those people only eat rich food," Maxx said.

"Is that so? I cooked a lot because I thought you ate that." Maxx's mom is about to take away the extra pancit when Renz stopped her.

"No auntie we're going to eat it right ryle?

"Ha? Y-yes auntie" they took a plate and put pancit on it.

"Right decision! You won't regret eating it! That's the best pancit I've ever eat!" Vyrie said.

The two have already started eating the pancit and it's true what Vyrie said, they enjoyed eating it so much.

"Auntie it's delicious for real!" Ryle said with a smile on his face.

"This is my first time eating this but, this is the best" Renz sincerely said.

"Maxx's mom was pleased with what the two said and she even told them to eat more. Maxx laughed as she watched them eating.

A few minutes later they finished eating. And the two seem to have enjoyed the meal because they almost ran out of food. Maxx realized that the two had a good side. It's getting late they need to go home, Maxx took them out of the house. Vyrie decided to take the two to their house because she had a car.

"Bye auntie thank you for the food I really love it" Ryle compliment.

"No problem. You can come back here sometime"

"Bye auntie and Maxx thanks for today," Renz said.

"Bye Maxx, bye auntie" Vyrie added. And

"Bye, drive safe" Maxx responds. And she watched them leave.

DID YOU KNOW?

*In Filipino cuisine, pancit (also spelled pansít) are noodles, and the dishes are made from them, typically using rice noodles. Noodles were introduced to the Philippines by immigrants over the centuries, and have been fully adopted into local cuisine, of which there are now numerous variants and types. The term pancit (or the standardized but less common pansít) is derived from either the Hokkien Pe̍h-ōe-jī: pán-si̍t/pián-si̍t; lit. 'wonton (noodles)' or Hokkien Pe̍h-ōe-jī: piân-ê-si̍t/pân-si̍t; lit. 'convenient food'.[1] Different kinds of noodles can be found in Filipino supermarkets which can then be cooked at home. Noodle dishes are also standard fare in local restaurants, with establishments specializing in them, called panciterias.*
