Chapter 1

Shanay's POV

Fuck...Today is Saturday and I promised the girls that I would go to the mall with them. It's already 7:30 and I only have 30 minutes to get ready, i should have went to bed early last night, it was a bad idea to stay up until 2 in the morning watching Netflix. Do I really have to go? What's wrong if I don't go with them, i see them every single day of my life. I love these girls so much, but sometimes Jessica gets on my nerves because she talks too much shit . Ohh by the way, Jessica isn't my best friend...Kyle is my best friend, we have been friends from kindergarten, i love this boy to death...i dont love him as in i want to marry him someday, he is like a brother figure to me. i would literally die for him, with us its ride or die. We go everywhere together, Jessica is Jake's girlfriend , i dont really get along with her, i just tolerate her. She pushes my buttons because she thinks she's better than me.

I got out of bed, went to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, had a shower, and got changed into a cute outfit. I'm going out, so why can't i look nice? I was just about almost done with my hair when I heard Kyles's hooter, he gets really impatient when I take too long. I went downstairs and made my way for the front door, no one was at home today, well i was home alone all week because my parents are on vacation. I went out the front door and got into the front seat of Kyle's car.

"Shanay, do you know how long you took just to get to the car, you walk like a sloth." he said to me.

"What are you talking about, i didnt take that long."

"You got out the front door and you just started walking so slow, it was like you were doing it on purpose."

"Kyle, I was not walking slow, can you just drive already?" i said to him and he started driving.

Jessica was in the backseat, as well as her boyfriend Jake, Kyle's girlfriend Melissa was also there. I was the odd one out, I've always felt like a third wheel when it came to my friends, i never had a boyfriend in my entire life, I've had guys ask me out but I've always rejected them. You must be thinking, "How can a 17 year old girl, who is this beautiful and looks so good...not have dated a boy in her life?" Well the answer is simple...first of all I've always focused on school so boys were the least of my problems, although I did feel lonely sometimes, and second, I dont really like my body, I get compliments about it all the time but I am not happy with my body, I feel fat, I dont feel beautiful all the time, I bring myself down because of my own insecurities.

"Shanay...were you even listening to what i was saying, or was I talking to myself?" Kyle asked me.

""No Kyle...im sorry, I'd didn't hear what you said, I got mixed up in my thoughts."

"What were you thinking about?" he asked me, he had a little bit of attitude in his voice but he also had a little bit of concern aswell.

"Well...i asked you where you would like to go for breakfast since you are the only one without a date here today."

"How about we go to...Pizza Hut, i really like pizza."

"Okay well we are off to Pizza Hut."

A few minutes passed and we finally reached the mall, we all got out of the car, and headed into the mall, we were going shopping first then we would go for breakfast, then shop some more.

We all went our separate ways, my first stop was a healthy stand, i cannot start my day without a strawberry milkshake. I went over to the stand and ordered a strawberry milkshake. I received my milkshake and payed the guy. I turned around and at the far end of the mall, I catch this guy staring me in the eyes. He has really gorgeous light brown eyes. I stared into his eyes for a minute, it was as if he had trapped me with just his eyes. He was a tall guy, he looked to be done with high school, so he must be around 19, he has muscles, and those muscles looked really amazing in that tight black t-shirt he was wearing. He also had a pair of black skinny jeans on. They made him look really hot, and for the first time in my life I found this guy to be really hot. I tried to take my eyes off of him but it was hard to, and all of a sudden I see him walk towards me. What do I do now? Why am I frozen? You need to walk away Y/N, this is a stranger and you don't know what he is capable of.

Suddenly those light brown eyes were infront of me and staring down into my dark ones, he was really tall. He was taller than me, guys are though. He trapped me with just his eyes, like he put my under some type of spell, it was so strong. The mall was quite empty, there wasn't alot of people around us, then all of a sudden...he pulled me towards him and held me tightly against him. He brought out a gun from the back of his pants and held it to my head. He told everyone around us to get down and they all listened. Wait...was I being kidnapped right now? Is this really happening? Why is it happening to me? All these thoughts running through my mind. And from the corner of my eye I saw Kyle there, he looked angry and scared.

"If anyone takes a step, this girl here dies!" This mystery guy said to everyone.

They were all still on the floor, i could see that Kyle was trying his best to help me...then all of a sudden, a plan pops into my head. So i take the lid off of my milkshake and I trow it in my mystery guys face, he wipes it off but he does not let go of me, he hold on the me even more tighter.

"Where do you think you're going? " he asks me.

"Away from you."

"For that...you're going to have to say goodbye to all your friends...if they're here."

And with that, he pulls me with him and we head out through the entrance of the mall. Why does such a handsome guy like him have to be so evil? I have just been kidnapped, is this guy really kidnapping me right now? What have I ever done to be kidnaped right now? So many thoughts. Is this guy going to kill me? He puts a bag over my head, ties my hands and throws me into a van, im guessing its one of those black or white vans with tinted windows, kidnappers always have a van like that.

The drive felt like forever, I eventually managed to free myself up from the rope he tied around my wrists, i take the bag off my head and try to look around to where we are.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Look Shanay, you dont ask the questions here...i ask you and you answer me...got it?"

"You aren't the boss of me." I say and roll my eyes.

"You will obey me...whether you like it or not Shanay."

"Who ordered you to kidnap me Mr. whatever-your-name-is?"

"I told you that i ask the questions."

I went into the front seat and I tried to open the door, it didn't want to open.

"You won't get out so easily princess."

And with that, he stops on the side of the road and gets out. He opens the door and carries me out. He puts the bag on my head once again and ties my hands together but a little tighter. Now I don't know how i would get free. I felt the car moving and it didn't stop for some time. After about 20 minutes which felt like forever the van stopped and he got out. He got me out aswell and took the bag off my head but put his hand around my mouth.

"If you dare to scream...i will shoot you." He said to me.

I just nodded my head and obeyed him. Would he really shoot me if I scream, it looks like we are in a deserted place anyway so who would hear us? He took his hand away from my mouth and we started walking...I was scared right now.
