Chapter 27

All of a sudden, Yun Xie stepped forwards, flames licking the sides of his fist. "Flashfire Fist: Jet Burn!"

A powerful beam of searing hot fire shot towards Qi Ye who smiled, directly punching head-on, dispersing the fire.

Yun Xie sighed a little, knowing that it wouldn't work. "Lemme change it up a little…" He said, dispersing the flames around him. He dashed forwards, punching out at Li Qi Ye, who met him head-on.

*BOOM!!!* A shockwave spread across the Hall, sending dust and dirt whirling about.

Yun Xie and Qi Ye both leaped back, the collision affecting him a little. He had [Amplified] Ace's physique x3, but the Hell Suppressing Physique was better.

"Hadouken!" Yun Xie aimed a beam of blue energy at Qi Ye, who met it head-on, the energy barely making a scratch. It was impressive, but nowhere near Mu Shaohuang.

They dashed at each other again, trading a series of blows, Yun Xie slightly on the defensive.

Kicking out Yun Xie attempted to hit Qi Ye's abdomen but was blocked. As soon as Qi Ye blocked the kick, Yun Xie twirled around in the opposite direction before unleashing another devastating blow to Li Qi Ye's neck.

"Konoha Hurricane!" Yelling Yun Xie spun through the air, sending a wicked strike aimed for Qi Ye's neck. He knew that even if it hit, there wouldn't be much damage due to the guy's thick physique. Konoha Hurricane had the potential to kill Palace Expansion stages in a single blow, and even somewhat injure people at Provisional Palace.

The blow connected sending Li Qi Ye back two steps. Yun Xie smiled, throwing fireball after fireball at Li Qi Ye, who dodged or deflected most of them.

"Rasengan!" Yun Xie pitched the iconic spiraling ball of energy at Li Qi Ye, who met it head-on with a fist of his own, sending his hand recoiling a bit.

"Interesting…." Li Qi Ye whispered. He had a slight hunch, actually not really much of a hunch that Yun Xie was just playing around.

"Rasengan!" Yun Xie charged again, showing off the iconic move once again.

"Again?" Li Qi Ye took it head-on, not really phased.

"Rasengan!"

"Rasengan!"

"Rasengan!"

"Rasengan!"

"Rasengan!"

Yun Xie sent a barrage of Rasengan's at the now, slightly uncomfortable Li Qi Ye. As each one hit, they started adding up in force, sending Qi Ye back a little. In terms of speed, Yun Xie was a lot faster than Li Qi Ye. [Spam], was a pretty powerful ability….

Yun Xie smiled, whispering once again.

"Rasengan x Machine Gun Blow!" Yun Xie's fists blurred, as all Li Qi Ye could see was bright blue and his flashing fists, though Qi Ye smirked a little. It was just a barrage of blows with no substance. It actually helped him cultivate his Hell Suppressing Physique!

Yun Xie stepped back after a while, inspecting his fists, which were a little red. The large stone tiles on the floor were partially or fully shattered.

Li Qi Ye was also sort of injured but did not show any expression on his face. The guy's uniform was torn and his shoulders and arms were a little battered.

"Hmm…. Guess I should get a little serious…" Yun Xie muttered, an extremely wide grin on his face, his blood boiling, wanting to see what a Heavenly Physique was like…

"Come!" Li Qi Ye said arrogantly, stomping the floor, sending even more tiles flying.

"Blood Demon Art: Shockwave Scream." Yun Xie's mouth slightly enlarged, showing devilish fangs, screaming.

A strong blast echoed through the Martial hall, causing the normal disciples to tremble, completely frozen. Li Qi Ye's eyes narrowed, as he was blown away, spitting a tiny bit of blood.

"Katon: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Yun Xie spat a huge ball of fire, which shot through the air, roasting Qi Ye, who waved his hand, annoyed.

"Huh!" Li Qi Ye wiped some of his blood off his chin.

"Quirk: Smokescreen…" Yun Xie thought as smoke started to float around him. "Full Blast!" Suddenly, around him, blooms of smoke spread through the courtyard rapidly, Qi Ye a little more irritated.

Li Qi Ye looked around, curious as to what Yun Xie would do, just stood there, looking around.

"Blood Demon Art: Ten Thousand Gliding Slimefish!" Yun Xie said as vases seemed to materialize themselves in his hands, spewing out thousands upon thousands of small sleek sardine-like fish, their razor-sharp teeth one of the only differences. He had aimed it at Li Qi Ye, so soon, a large amount of fish was chomping at Qi Ye's heels and biting onto his arms and legs. Qi Ye couldn't really see them though and attempted to part the smoke around him.

Li Qi Ye looked down, his facial expressions still paralyzed, before slamming his foot into the ground, killing a few. Fish guts splattered the tiles before Qi Ye noticed something. Within each fish, seemed to be a piece of clay….

Unlike Gyokko, in the manga, (Demon Slayer) who made them release poisonous powder, the insides of the fish were not poisonous, and were in fact, filled with special chakra clay from Naruto…

"Art Is An Explosion!!!" Yun Xie made a hand sign, and a large explosion could be heard as all of the small sardines simultaneously burst.

After a few seconds, Qi Ye emerged, mostly unharmed. Blowing the smoke to the side with a punch of his hand, Li Qi Ye looked at Yun Xie, who just stood there, smiling.

(WCM: Yes! Yes! Yes!)

(A/N: Just to clarify, the reason he is so excited, is Ten Thousand Gliding Slime Fish. Along with Oh Come My Way Karate, Gyokko's abilities are his favorite.)

They faced off against each other, smoke disappearing into the sky. It was the late afternoon already, the sky a deep, steadily darkening blue.

All the disciples held in their breaths, looking at the somewhat intense battle taking place. It was completely silent, the wind had come to a stop, and Li Shuangyan looked on with a complicated gaze.

Yun Xie suddenly spoke out, causing everyone to listen. Nan Huai Ren shuffled forwards a bit, as if afraid he wouldn't hear what Yun Xie was about to say. "Good grief….. It's almost dinner…. Steak or Noodles…..?"

"...."

"...."

Seriously? Dumbfounded, the crowd watched, as Yun Xie smiled once again, ruffling his hair with his left hand.

"I dunno…. This place isn't that good for those abilities…. Lemme go with that…." Yun Xie spoke out loud, muttering a bit.
