Chapter 1

I woke up this morning feeling awesome ,so I put music on full blast,perks of living alone my mom would have told me to turn it down lest her eardrums burst.I declutter everything occasionally getting distracted by things I came across,don't judge me because you know you do it too.

I then do pilates.After rewarding my critical but stable body with a long refreshing shower ,I decide to head to Sandwich Inc and finish my assignment before my lecture.

Sandwich Inc is by far my favorite cafe,it has grey and white wallpaper,a banjo hung on the wall showing her Mexican heritage and has pictures of Gemma's family members from previous generations.When Gemma inherited the cafe she expanded it and now it has grown into a franchise.It may be modernized but it still has a homey feel to it.

I look up and see Gemma beaming as she brings my order.Gemma is simply put stunning she has a very pretty face with warm features and a petite body you'd never believe she has a twenty three year old daughter.She is aging gracefully.

'What are you working on hon?'she asks as she places my sandwich on my table.

'Thank you,ohhhh this is just my assignment on the reactivity...'

'And that's how you loose me,have a wonderful day sunshine.'

With a grin on my face I continue doing my work .I bob my head to the music really feeling the music.

You know that feeling you get when someone is staring at you ,well I'm currently having it,so I look around and seated two tables behind me is a group of men seeming to be deep in conversation but Mr StareALot was just yeah you guessed it starring.

I'm near sighted so I can't make out his features so I just go back to work but I get lazy plus SAL wouldn't stop yup you guessed it staring so I just decide I'll complete it later and I was just starting to enjoy it.

I look at my phone and realize I have an hour to spare.I think of going home but I realize I'll probably feel lazy to go to school altogether.

Now I know it's weird but I hate it when people nudge or poke me it drives me insane ,yeah I know you probably thinking how dramatic well bite me.So you can imagine my face when I turn to see who nudged or poked me I am too irritated to decide.

I quickly sober up though when I see who it is,SAL.He is in simple terms a gorgeous being,it is his eyes most of all that had me melting.Windows to a whole new....

'Pull yourself together idiot you're embarrassing me acting like this is your first time meeting the male species which happens to be God's gift to men',who's talking you wonder ahhhh that's Miss KnowALot aka my inner voice that for some reason makes it a point to make me question myself.Is that what they are for?

'Hi bella my name is Nick,I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are ',said SAL flashing me a dazzling smile.

'Don't blow it kiddo!'

'Oh wait don't tell me ,you're the kind of guy who thinks just because he's rich ',I eyed his immaculate suit no doubt costed more than my tuition,'and has a cute face,he can just flash a smile and boom panties drop.You gonna have to find your next victim elsewhere because I'm not the least fluttered.'

After my little speech I stormed out my Sandwich in hand leaving behind me what looked to me like a gapping fish.

Imagine the nerve of that man he probably used that line on a dozen of women today alone.Argh I'd never allow myself to succumb to love nonsense it all ends the same for me atleast and most women I know,HEARTBREAK.Love is just a bunch of chemical reactions anyway and it's for losers.
