Yang Rai (Martial Peak)

I hope it's not too bad... I started it because I was bored. I'm not too good at writing so please don't have high expectations :). There are a few spoilers. So read with caution if you haven't read the MP LN. Brother born with the sole desire to help his brother and protect his friends. Many challenges come his way. Many wrong him. How does Yang Rai deal with this?

Chapter 6

Yang Rai had accidently started converting his Qi into Saint Qi while in the Nascent Soul Realm. The glyph exuded power like nothing he felt before. Easily providing power more than mountain peaks. Once he noticed this happening, he quickly absorbed the other materials until he had a full set of 9 Glyphs. His Knowledge Sea expanded and strengthened rapidly. With 9 glyphs supporting his cultivation it directly promoted him to the peak of the Nascent soul Realm. He felt ready to become Transcendent. He decided that it would be better to wait a little longer before progressing further.

So in the interest of not wasting time Yang Rai turned his focus to the Glyphs. Changing the flow and instead had them empower each other. He wasn't sure how this would work or if it would even work at all. A month passed and the first glyph seemed to grow noticeably stronger. The strength of the empowered glyph was far beyond what the nine of them had done together previously. Seeing such a massive change Yang Rai began to focus on ranking up all of the glyphs to as high as he possibly could. It took him several more months later but he could no longer stay where he was. With all nine glyphs now at what he labeled Tier 1 Rank 3. His cultivation expanded to a degree that suppressing his realm any longer would have been detrimental.

The Baptism location didn't matter so much anymore since he could just support himself with the glyphs' might alone. The Baptism Rai went through was one he had seen before. It was when someone in the sect was promoted to the Origin Returning realm. He still wasn't phased by this. As a result the strength of the baptism began to grow in strength rapidly. Quickly reaching the Origin King realm. Once he was hit with this Baptism It was almost as if his body was being shredded apart at the tiniest of levels. Yet his foundation remained firm and repaired the damage rapidly. Like if the Baptism was a frigid waste land breeze, the Foundation was a warm motherly embrace. Once it was over Yang Rai opened his eyes for the first time as a transcendent realm.

With his new found power he decided to see just how much stronger he really was after that display. He went back to High heaven Sect to visit and make his report. After this he went into the seclusion room he had at home and fully stabilized his cultivation at the peak of the first order. It took effort to do this since he had to go through the process of reaching the regular peak of the third order for the regular cultivator just to reach the peak of his first order. He also did this nine times over. All of his Qi had been transformed into Saint Qi. He quickly began to develop Shi knowing full well he would need it to promote into the Origin Returning realm. But he left Seclusion at the age of 15. The idea was to have some of the young women from the sect introduce themselves to Yang Rai.

Upon leaving he felt uneasy as if something was wrong. There were less people walking around and the Great Elder seemed worried about something. He partially didn't want to bother her but he found out from some people talking that a nearby cultivation star was attacked. The star master was able to fend off the attackers and gained information. It came at a heavy price, the price of his life. This meant the Star would die. A great many people began to move. Yang Rai was worried and left the Shadowed star leaving a note to a maid servant.
