'Weird.. she's scared all of a sudden from an earthquake.' Kyle was perplexed by the brunette haired strange attitude. He did experience earthquakes back on earth but this was his first time experiencing it on this planet.

'Hmm.. the number of mental unstable people are just much.' Kyle sighed staring at the shivering woman. Not too long ago she was a feisty sadistic bitch, but right now she was more of intimidated scared little girl.

'Ha... Maybe she just couldn't handle it anymore and finally snapped.' Kyle inwardly sighed. He didn't know what the strange female went through, but he didn't blame her. His time alone in the castle, had made him realize many things about this new planet he's currently in.

First was the same prescription, the rich takes what they want while the poor scavanges. It was a common moto back on earth, and here it was no different. Only those of royal status, or high prestige were considered humans. while the commoners and low rank individuals were considered dogs, to entertain the high class.

Second was the powerful are the true rulers! Money was great and all, but there was just some things it couldn't buy and that was real power. It was just like a rich spoilt brat with no experience, going to war against a common folk with years of experience in battle. Even if the rich bastard was with the highest set of gadgets, he still wouldn't be able to outright win against the commoner with years of experience in battle.

He'd guessed this female just like him was a nobody with no class, probably no family or friends, all alone. She'd probably worked her way from a young age to sustain a living, but it still wasn't enough.

'Something's doesn't feel right.' Kyle frowned, seeing the little grains of sands vibrating on the table in a static manner. Observing it more, he could see the grains of sand were moving in a certain pattern, almost like it was reacting to something.

'Why doesn't this feel like a normal earthquake.' Kyle sighed, knowing this was far from just a normal earthquake.

"It's getting closer." Sensing it's pattern, Kyle could feel whatever it was was approaching fast towards their direction. He could also sense whatever was causing this much shaking was big, and underground.

"Let's go." Kyle said already walking out the door, glancing back he could see the woman was now on her feet staring out the window.

"Geez.. at least put on some clothes." Kyle rolled his eyes, as she was still butt naked. small balls of water clinging to her skin, as the gentle breeze softly grazed her skin.

"I've waited so many years for this you bastard." She said with a sadistic smile, slowly making her way towards the window.

'Idiot! is she trying to get herself killed.' Shrugging his shoulders, Kyle was about leaving since it wasn't his business and he honestly didn't care if she got herself killed. He'd seen so much blood and lives lost from his hands and others, so it wasn't a new thing to be concerned about.

"Today will be the day I finally get revenge for mom." She smiled, grabbing a small cube by the window. Pressing the button on top, the small cube then twisted and elongated, transforming into some kind of advanced sniper's rifle in less than a second.

Without warning she jumped out the window, charging towards the source of the vibration with valor.

Meanwhile Kyle was still frozen in his track, the strange woman's words replaying in his head. As he guessed, she was broken just like him.

"No.. it's none of my business." Shaking his head Kyle stepped out the door through the back, standing on a hill of sand. Immediately he stepped out he could see it, the huge moving sand heading towards fast towards the village.

'This bitch.. she really wants to die.' In front, running towards the huge moving sand was a small dot, none other than the brunette haired psycho woman.

'It's definitely a big beast. Could it perhaps be the dessert worm?' There wasn't much beasts Kyle had encountered here, but judging by this creature's movement. It resembled that of the annoying desert worm, he fought alongside falcon and aurora.

"Die!!" The brunette haired screamed, recklessly firing off energy to the pile of sand up ahead. The distance between the two was closing in seconds, as the disturbing creature continued moving towards her, seemingly unaffected by the blasts from the woman.

'Screech!!!'

The beast let out an ear deafening screech, that made the strange woman freeze. Covering her ears she fell to the hot sand, unable to contend with the stunning loud screech.

'Shit. It's definitely the fucking worms.. ahh seriously! why couldn't it have been any other beast.' Kyle cursed covering his ears, also affected by the beast piercing screech.

"Wait.. what's that?" Kyle mumbled, seeing movement a bit behind from where the strange woman was.

'There's two of them.' Kyle frowned, clearly sensing there was another desert worm approaching fast

Glancing at the woman, he could see she was unaware of this new beast approaching, as she still fired beams of energy at the moving sand.

'She's going to get killed if she continues like this.' Kyle knew how much of an effort it took him, falcon, and the archer, to successfully defeat a desert worm. But to face two at the same time with their current forces, was just asking for trouble.

Deliberating, Kyle was hesitant on helping her as she wasn't his priority, and he couldn't afford to be stupid and risk his life for a woman he just met.

'Boom!'

A small explosion occured, as the first desert worm finally potruded upwards from the scorching sand, sending the woman off balance tumbling downwards. Immediately regaining herself she charged at the beast, rapidly firing off energy to it dodging the creature's attack.

The menacing desert worm would sink into the sand, then potrude outwards fast from the location the woman stood. Looking at the worm, Kyle was a bit surprised seeing it was blue as he'd recalled the one he'd face was brown.

'This worm.. it's aura. Why does it feel different from before like it.. evolved?' As Kyle stared at the worm, everything about it seemed different. from it's skin color, to it's menacing rows of teeth, down to the dominating aura it excluding. If Kyle didn't know better, he'd mistake this strange blue desert worm for another specie of beasts.

'Huh! my hunch was right, they evolved.' Kyle sighed, as he knew this was just more trouble. Dealing with one basic desert worm was a great deal, not to mention two. but with the addition of them evolving, it was just suicide.

'Impressive.. this is the first time the system didn't add a penalty if I decided to turn down the quest. But why did it term the beasts as one when they're clearly two?' Kyle was a bit happy the system didn't add a penalty, if he didn't accept the quest like usual. But he was more confused, seeing the system term both the beasts as one.

"Argh!" Kyle heard a scream up ahead. Looking, he could see the weird woman was flung into a house in the village by the worm's powerful screech.

'I knew this was bound to happen sooner with how reckless she was. Judging by her aura she wasn't that strong, considerably weaker than a normal space guard.' Doing something strange, the worm then let out a terrifying screech, blasting the half destroyed houses as it lept a bit in the sky.

"What the- h-how the hell did it do that with half it's body still in the ground!" Kyle stared in shock, perplexed how the worm achieved such feet.

'She's going to die for sure.' Judging from her battered state, Kyle could tell she was exhausted and had gone unconscious from the worm's powerful screech. The creature descended fast to the ground headfirst, it's razor sharp rows of teeth directed at her.

'Sigh.. why do I always have to be the one for this shit. I mean am now a demon so am meant to be the villian, but I keep playing the hero card.' Kyle softly smiled shaking his head a bit. With the beam blaster in his arms, he aimed at the descending worm squeezing the trigger.

'Chhh.... Zammmm!!!'

The double energy blaster charged with a static hum, firing off two straight lines of purple energy at the beast neck. The blast was powerful, tearing through the creature's skin with little effort making two small holes.

'Screech!!!'

The worm let out a painfilled screech, feeling the attack pierce it's skin. Strapping the gun to his back he then stomped his feet, shooting out like a blur reaching the woman in the blink of an eye. Carrying her in a princess carriage, Kyle blazed away from the descending worm.

'That should stall it for now while I focus on the second one.' Kyle thought, glancing towards the direction the second worm was approaching.

'Where is it?' The moving sand had stopped a few feet's from them, as the second worm was nowhere to be found.

"Shit." That's when he could feel it. Underneath his feet, he could feel the sand rapidly sinking fast which could only mean one thing.
