Argh! This is pointless. Kyle frowned levitating from the ground. After a few hard trails he'd gotten the hang of moving in his spirit state but when he tried to advance further it backfired on him. The next stage was trying to harden his spirit self to to be able to feel something than floating through it like a ghost.

Once you gain spiritual touch only then will you be able to inflict damage. Those were eldren's words if he remembered correctly.

Good. Now try to hold onto this form as long as you can and move. Eldren instructed to which Kyle nodded to. Focusing he channeled his energy to his legs feeling some life there. After a bit he successfully raised his right leg one step forward. Doing the same he applied the same technique to his left leg successfully pushing it one step forward. After some few tries his spirit self adjusted to it as he began to move freely around the vast white space.

Impressive young one.. you're a fast learner. It usually takes months if not years to successfully achieve free movement in this form but you made it look easy. Eldren chuckled shaking his head slightly. No wonder troy saw something in you.

Now that you've mastered hardening your spirit I want you to come at me with all you've got. And please.. don't hold back cause I won't. Eldren smirked stretching his hand gesturing Kyle come attack him. A sly smile then curled to Kyle's lips as he charged towards eldren.

I promise this will hurt a lot. Sending out his fist Kyle aimed for eldren's head but the latter simply shifted his head a bit avoiding the attack. Using his hand eldren punched Kyle's gut sending him skidding backwards.

Damn it! I didn't see his attacks just how fast is he? Kyle wondered gritting his teeth. He was in his spirit form but somehow eldren's hot had managed to hurt him as it felt like his insides were on fire.

Come on is this how you plan to hurt me? Eldren yawned boredom looming on his face. Stomping his leg Kyle shot like a bullet cutting through the air reaching eldren in an instant. Sending a kick eldren stepped to the side but Kyle wasn't done.

Grabbing eldren Kyle kneeded his chest earning a low groan from eldren. The latter then grabbed his leg tossing him in the air leaping off the ground.

Eldren kicked Kyle's hard sending him flying down and crashing to the ground. Come on boy is that all you've got am really beginning to get bored.

Eldren had expected Kyle to get up to his feet but the latter just layed on the floor. At first he'd thought Kyle was playing a trick to get him to lower his guard but that wasn't the case.

Phough! Kyle coughed up couple of times as his eyes fluttered open. Looking he could see eldren his legs crossed together sitting on the floor. Besides him was also eldren floating in the air a bit?

What happened? Last thing I saw was you kicking me down and I couldn't get back up. I-it was like my spirit was slowly fading.. Kyle frighteningly spoke checking his hands. It was just like the stories he'd heard about when one was dying. Though he hadn't really died.. at least not officially he had experienced some of it as one's consciousness would start to fade dissolving into nothingness.

It was weird as the pain slowly faded away replaced by the soothing calm sound of silence drowning one's soul away.

Kyle's aura exploded like a bomb sending gusts of wind everywhere. His dark and red spirit self shooting out his body like a jet straight for eldren.

It was unexpected and eldren could barely react as Kyle's fist connected with his face. Time seemed to have stopped for a moment as a small black bubble was created enlarging rapidly within seconds enveloping the duo.

Boom!

The bubble exploded with force as eldren's spirit was sent flying back his body blown away from the impact.

I-i did it. Kyle panted huffing in huge amounts of as he crouched down a bit. He didn't know what got to him but he felt he had to go with the flow for certain reasons.
