Proposal

The next morning when the girl woke up, she saw her hands around him and looked at how peaceful he looked while he was asleep.

She then removed her hand and got off of the bed.

A little while later her brother came knocking on her door, she opened it.

"Good morning sis" he said as he hugged her,

"Good morning, release me i .. i can't breathe" she replied,

"Oh sorry" he said as he released her.

He was about to walk in her room but then she remembered Wang sleeping on her bed and wondered what her brother would think so she stopped him.

"I will meet you for breakfast" she said as she locked the doo on him.

"The hell was that about?" he asked himself then left.

The girl laughed as she looked at Wang "i appreciate everything ypu are doing from me even though i do not know much about you" she said to him,

"That's good to know" he replied,

The girl jumped "you were awake?" she asked,

He laughed "yes" he responded.

She then smiled with him, grabbed him by his hand and he came off of the bed, she then pulled him to the door, opened it and pushed him out "stay out" she said then locked the door.

The guy smiled and went to his room.

The girl then took a bath and got dressed, when she finished she combed her hair and as she was doing that, she saw Wang's reflection but not as he is as something evil, her eyes widened and she swallowed deeply.

'What the hell was that?" she asked herself as she went to have breakfast with the others.

As for Wang he had already taken a bath and got dressed but instead of going for breakfast he disappeared.

"Good morning" the girl said to everyone as she sat down and held on to her neck.

"Good morning so shall we discuss the proposal" her brother said,

"Yes we shall as you know my son Hu is going to be the next clan leader and since your sister is at the right age i propose they get married" Hu's father said,

After hearing the word marriage the girl looked at them "whose marriage?" she asked,

'Yours and Hu's" her brother responded.

The girl coughed and looked at her brother "you are not joking?" she asked,

"No it's what will be best for both of the clans and you too, it's in all of our best interest, you are 19 years old and he is 20 the two of you would make a powerful couple too" he said,

"Yes he is right and Hu already agreed" his father said,

The girl right arm started to tremble "oh so i guess it's already finalize" she replied,

"Yes" her brother said.

"She frowned "okay uh... i am not hungry i am going for a walk" she replied,

"Okay just be careful " her brother said,

"I will" she replied as tears ran down her cheek and she walked away.

The girl went for a walk into the city, there she sat at an ice cream shop and bought her favorite flavor ice cream which was chocolate.

"Are you okay Lien?" someone asked,

When she looked the girl saw it was Lan "i am fine" she responded and he sat down.

"I heard what happened last night, i am really sorry" he said as he took out his sword and placed it on the table,

"You don't have to apologize, it's not your fault, what are you doing here?" she asked,

"Try to find leads on the zombie cases, the city is peaceful and we don't want to create a fuss" he said,

"I get, can i join you Lan?" she asked,

He smiled "you hate people in the Yunmeng clan but not me and my sister, thank you and yes you can come along" he responded,

She smiled "it's because you two are not like the others" he said as she got up and walked by his side on the busy streets of Jin.

"Are you okay Lien you look down?" Lan asked,

"My marriage is fixed Lan" she said,

"Eh.. when?" he asked,

'This morning and it's to Hu" she responded,

"I am sorry Lien, you don't have a choice but to marry him now and he can be a meanie" Lan said,

She sighed "i know".

"Where is that bodyguard of yours?" Lan asked,

"I don't know he just disappeared right before breakfast" she responded as she joined the hunting group in the mountain.

"Lady Lien what are you doing here?" Mo asked,

"She wanted to help" Lan responded,

'You are going back" Mo said,

"No i am not" she replied,

"Huh?, what's wrong now?" he asked,

She then smiled "this might be my last hunt, please let me be after all i am now engaged" she said,

"I ma confused Engaged?, when and where?" Yu asked,

"You are such a dummy Yu, what do you think that meeting with the Hu's and her brother about?" Lan asked,

"Oh that meanie is going to be my brother in law, no way, i disagree" Yu said,

"Not your choice, it's final i might as well enjoy my freedom" she replied as she grabbed her sword.

"Let's kill some zombies" she said as her eyes glowed green.

Her cousin jumped "do me a favor and get her brother her before she kills one of us" Yu whispered to his brother,

'Shut up stupid idiot" Mo replied as he slapped him behind his head,

" I am only stating the facts, ever since that bodyguard showed up she has been attacked countless times" he said,

"That might be the only sensible thing you have spoken all morning" his brother replied as they followed the other up the mountain.

Upon arriving at the top, the girl heard whispers "i told myself that i am going crazy now i think i am sure" she said to herself.

"You heard that right?" Yu asked,

"Whispers?" she asked,

"Yes, Lien i am not feeling good about being here" he said,

She then held on to his hand and he smiled "i guess i have to protect you, i am not going to let anything happen to you lady Lien" he said,

"I can protect myself, you be careful because it seems as if we are the only two who can hear it" she replied as she wrapped a piece of string around his wrist along with her binding themselves together.

"Lien please do not trust Wang with you life" he said,

She looked at him as they got separated from the other "damn it" she said,

"I am sorry" he replied.

She sighed and hugged him, he then relaxed and hugged her "Yu you have always been by my side and for your sake i will heed you warning" she said,

He patted her on the head "let's fine the others" he replied,

She raised up "okay".

After wandering for a while they heard a branch broke and since it was foggy, they could not see anything, as the footsteps were getting closer, the boy grabbed his sword and something wrapped around it, when he pulled it towards him, he saw it was Wang.

He sighed " i could have chopped your head off" Yu said,

"But i won't die" Wang replied,

'Where were you Wang?" she asked.
