- Please, pair. You know it's not all right between us, and I know it's my fault – Alice.

You didn't do anything, you don't have to blame yourself for anything - Isabele said, ducking her head trying to avoid eye contact with the other girl.

- How did I not do anything? Look how you're treating me birthday! I can't take this, Isabele, especially with everything I had planned – But it soon became apparent that I'd said too much.

Isabele ended up getting confused by what Alice had said last.

- Planned? What were you up to? - Isabelle said.

Alice was tired of running away, putting up with all this since Marina's birthday, getting this feeling that everything could have been different if she'd talked. She needed to confess all her feelings, had to stop her pride and her heart at once. She was already past time.
