Chapter 20: Vermilion vs Rosario and Rory Round 1

One of the students asked, "why did we just change our course of direction?" Rosario answered, "as I have said earlier, the direction we're taking is filled with monsters and also the strongest trap is somewhere near the entrance to the center of the labyrinth and you might not be able to handle it."

Vermilion saw Rosario end up at a dead end and he laughs as hard as he could. Vermilion said, "I thought they were about to reach this place but I guess they don't have any ability to find their way out."

Vermilion was surprised when Rosario stared directly at him from the projected monitoring image and Rosario said: "you can laugh as hard as you could but I'm warning you to don't let your guard down because in just a few seconds I'll be there." After saying those words their monitor was destroyed.

Rory saw Rosario talking into an insect and she asked "why are you talking to that thing master?" Rosario crushed it and said, "it's nothing, I'm just saying my farewell to that insect because soon we will get out of this labyrinth but once we've reached the center of the labyrinth, it will be a life and death battle." Rory said "we're always gonna protect you master. We'll do everything that we can to make sure that we won't lose you this time." Rosario added "and I won't let any of you lose your life here. I'll use my power to make sure of that."

Rosario used skill and said "dimension slash!" As Rosario activates the skill, she gives a powerful slash towards the wall and the wall in front of them starts to collapse including the walls ahead of them.

Rosario said, "I'm not yet done!" Rosario's katana shifts into his staff and grimoires and she activates another skill and said "absolute zero!" A huge ball of light was being produced by the staff and spit a very powerful light beam that turned everything into ice.

Rosario activates another skill and said "alpha strike!" As she activates her skill the time has started to stop. Rory asked, "why did you stop the time master?" Rosario was a bit surprised and said "you really can move in the frozen time huh." Rory said, "of course, I can move at the frozen time without breaking a sweat."

Rosario said, "can you tell me the reason why Rory can move at the frozen time, Athena?" Athena said, "those people who can stop the time of this world won't be affected by this phenomenon, just like you and Rory master." Rosario said "I see, so if someone used an ability to stop the time, I won't be affected by it. Is that what you're trying to say?" Athena answered, "yes master."

Rosario noticed something and said "wait, you said earlier that I'm one of those people who can stop the time of the world. Does that mean I've been stopping the time of this world all this time?" Athena answered, "yes master." Rosario said "I thought I was just stopping the time of this dungeon but I guess I was wrong. I might have already called the attention of the 4 superior rulers and they might think of killing me soon." Athena said "don't worry master, Alicia, the guardian deities, and the 7 upper moon angels will keep an eye on them. As long as they're around there's nothing to worry about."

Rosario tried contacting Rose and Keros but they're not responding. Rosario asked, "why can't contact Rose and Keros?" Athena answered "it's because a connection to any people does not exist in frozen time. That is one of the 2 restrictions of the frozen time." Rosario asked, "what is the other one?" Athena answered "usage of long-range magic is off limits. In other words, you can't use your mage class skill since they're all long-range attacks." Rosario said, "so the only thing that I can use right now is my sword skills." Athena answered, "yes master."

Rosario said "well, I can only stop the time in 3 seconds and I wasted .4 seconds on gathering information on what is happening. For now, I'll head there and crush that fairy."

Rosario stared at Rory and said let's go Rory and let's find out how strong our enemy is." Rory said, "yes master." They both use their wings to fly and go towards Vermilion.

Vermilion got angry and said "that woman got some nerves to threaten me! Does she thinks that she can defeat me?!"

After he said that, he was surprised at what happened next.

A wind passed by right in front of him and after that, the walls where the wind came from collapsed. The ground splits into 2 and afterward, the wall that has collapsed turned into crystal ice followed by time stopping.

Rosario and Rory popped out of the 2 walls that were being destroyed and slaughtered everyone in sight. Rosario said, "I see, only that fairy is the only being who's able to move at the frozen time." Rory added, "while among us, only me and you can move at the frozen time and we need to at least give that guy a scar for Rengar to smell." Rosario said, "yeah, if we manage to make that guy bleeds with blood, Rengar will be here in no time."

Vermilion turned himself into a size of a human and draws 2 Excalibur swords out of nowhere like magic.

Vermilion said, "come at me if you dare!" Rosario said, "right back at you!"

Rory and Rosario charge toward Vermilion without hesitation.

Rosario used skill and said "steel tempest!" As Rosario activates the skill her sword is surrounded by the air around them and formed a huge tornado. Rosario started to thrust Vermilion a lot and a powerful and multiple piercing tornado charges towards Vermilion. Vermilion said, "you're so pathetic."

A loud explosion can be heard as the piercing tornado hit Vermilion and huge smoke comes after.

As the smoke disperses Vermilion is cannot be seen.

Vermilion asked, "looking for me?" Rosario looked up and saw Vermilion's sword is about to hit her but Rory managed to block it and said "master, don't just space out there, and please move!" Rosario said, "don't worry, he won't be able to do anything against me." Rosario used skill and said "space manipulation!"

Vermilion ended up being slammed to the ground by a powerful force.

Vermilion vomits a lot of blood and said "I underestimated you a lot. Well, I guess I'm going to let myself run wild a little bit more!"

While talking Vermilion's outfit has changed. It turned into a golden armor of a knight and his sword turned into a divine sword that's is filled with holy magic power.

Vermilion stands up and floats while using his fairy wings. Vermilion said, "now I'm going to show you half of my strength and I'll show what it means to fight the strongest demon lord's seed!" Vermilion aura run wild like a violent storm that is being supported by a powerful earthquake."
