Starlight headed for the fourth planet in the Luca system this time. The planet was an ocean planet that had archipelagos here and there. After a day of unloading and setting up, the planet started producing Luca Pearls and a variety of rare and delicious fish.
"Once my fleet is up and running in Kono, I will use some credits to get money, that way I can live somewhere better. Might also have enough to get a pod as well, then I could stay in longer."
He loaded up on pearls and fish, then headed to Vidu. The earnings were decent at 200 million, thanks to the pearls mostly. Luxury goods were a hot commodity. Then he loaded up more settlers and went back for the third planet of the Luca system. The last settleable planet was a desert planet and had an abundance of common ores and Lucian ore, an ore that could be used in shields and weapons to increase their performance.

He reached level 46 Captain right after logging in from a meal. Only 4 more levels until he could get his first Class Talent. The speed he was improving at was far faster than the last time, and he found himself trying to decide whether to continue on up to 100 Captain or to level a second class to 50 next, Designer being a good choice for that.
After a few more days, Starlight had built up a large fund of liquid credits. While he didn't have immediate needs when it came to the funds, he decided to buy more construction drones so he could build the stations and such faster in his second system. Then he took a couple of days off, to let him unwind since he had been going almost non-stop since the game launched.
He landed on Luca Second and found a nice beach for him and his crew to relax on. It took a few days for them to really relax, but it was some much-needed R&R, one that had Starlight and Lin taking some alone time. It seemed that Lin had developed a crush on Starlight during the times that they met on the ship, and when she watched him take charge of getting settlements ready. So, she had approached him when he was relaxing and well, she got what she wanted.
"Demanding little minx, just like a cat to get what it wants."
Lin had been timid when he first met her, but after more than a month of interactions, she seemed to grow more comfortable and started to show a more aggressive side. Much to Starlights delight.
The vacation was over much too soon, but there was money to be made, and it wasn't going to make itself. Shipments of Pearls, Wood, and rare fish were bringing in large sums of money, and the time moving between places was small.
'Another week until my defense fleet arrives in Kono. Well, it is only one ship and the Commander, but still.'

Attention Eternal Universe.
The company, Union of Vengence, has claimed the first system.
The Funo System is now settled and has built a defense station, along with the appointment of a Defense Commander.
Congratulations Union of Vengence.
May you find Fortune Among the Stars.

'Holy hell, did that just happen?'
Starlight was shocked. The last time he wasn't sure if there was a Union of Vengence, but if there was, then they weren't famous.
'Could they be like me, someone who came back in time?'
Starlight looked up the name of the character who led Union of Vengence, Demon King. That wasn't a famous name either. There probably was someone named that, but he didn't remember that name from last time, so they were probably in a situation like him, talented but suboptimally used. Maybe even killed for some mistake, just like him.
He had thought of the possibility that there would be others, but he wasn't sure, so he had used a new name when he started, hoping to hide as just someone, not that 'guy'.
Still, having lost the game first wasn't all bad. It made him aware of others out there, and judging by the name of the company, he was also disgruntled. Maybe they could work together in the future.
His crew flew back to Vidu and started the process of registering his claims. After you have a Defense Commander, you had to register the claims with the nearest Pioneer's Office, so that you are officially recognized as the owner. If you take over a claim, then you needed to come to show the Marker of Ownership to them to get things settled.
Outside of the game, the forums are on fire with the news that someone had owned a system and what kind of profits could potentially be made. Needless to say, the location of the First Claimed System, was scouted and they had some Real-World companies looking into buying the rights to the system. Demon King just ignored all the requests. Curiously, the pirates in the region never seemed to bother their system.
In fact, the pirates in the area seemed to disappear entirely.
Sorry for the wait, wasn't sure how to write the chapter and have been dealing with migraines.
