Surprise Engagement Party

"The makeup artist is here," Hassan's mom woke me up with the sound of her voice. I sat up against the headboard as I rubbed my eyes so I can adjust to the light, I looked out the window to see it was sunsetting. The skies looked so beautiful.

"Okay, I will be down in a sec-

"She's in your bathroom and has her equipment set up already." She cut me off. I nodded my head before taking the covers off of me and got up from the bed.

When I opened the bathroom door, I saw the makeup artist looking at some dark lipstick colors.

"Hello, my name is Eve." I introduced myself holding out my hand. The makeup artist looked at me with a kind smile and shook my hand.

"My name is Sara, I will be doing your makeup." Sara smiled then she pulled out her makeup chair for me to sit on and I sat down.

"I will be getting ready in my room, Eve. Your makeup shouldn't take long," She put her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, by the time we're done. You should be dressed up already." Sara nodded her head in agreement, I nodded my head as well.

"Okay," I said before Hassan's mom left the bathroom and out my bedroom.

"Well! Let's get started." Sara clapped her hands together before she gave me a light pink bow headband with white dots on it, the headband looked so cute.

"What's this for?" I asked with confusion.

"To hold back your hair from falling on your face while I do your makeup, " Sara smiled. "Here, I will put it on for you." She put the headband gently on my head before she sprayed a clear liquid bottle on my face, it felt refreshing then she started to do my eyes.

She did a perfectly sharp eyeliner then she added eyeshadow to my eyes, the colors went well for my outfit. Then she put foundation on my face, not a lot but just enough to cover some dark spots then she sprayed something on my face again before applying a Fenty lip gloss to my lips. After she was done doing my makeup which felt like hours, I looked into the mirror in front of us and examined my face. Sara looked at me and I could tell she was nervous waiting for my reaction.

"What do you think? Do you like it? If you don't that, that's fine we can do something else- I cut Sara off by giving her a hug.

"It's beautiful, you enhanced my beauty even more." I pulled away from the hug. She stood there in shock then she smiled at me.

"Thank you, I was nervous before. But your excitement makes me feel calm." She smiled.

"You don't need to be nervous, thank you so much."

"It was a pleasure," Sara said before Hassan's mom walked back in my room and walked into the bathroom then she looked at me and her eyes got wide.

"You look so beautiful, Eve!" Hassan's mom shouted making Sara smile.

"Thank you, I really appreciate it." I smiled widely as she grabbed my hands while I took into her attire.

The Queen was wearing a lovely wine Marron Bridal lehenga choli set. Her eyeshadow was burgundy and red matching with the set she had on. Her hair was in a low bun and she had on gold earrings and rings on her fingers. She was wearing a gold necklace that covered most of her neck and a nose ring. She looked stunning, I was shocked by how beautiful she was in this attire. Their culture is beautiful.

"You look great, I can see where Hassan gets his good looks from." I smiled making her laugh.

"Of course, " She flicked her hair around in confidence making me laugh. "Anyway thank you so much, Sara for doing Eve's make up." She looked at Sara with a hand on her chest.

"It was a pleasure, it really was." Sara smiled then Hassan's mom grabbed both of our hands and walked out of the bathroom to show us my dress on the bed.

"Time to get changed, Sara you wouldn't mind helping out would you?" Hassan's mom asked looking at Sara.

Sara nodded then I got undressed and put on my black choli set, the top had designs on it. Hassan's mom helped put on the mint green cape for me then Sara attached a Cira Antique necklace to my neck while Hassan's mom put on gold earrings that matched the design of the necklace. I looked at myself in the mirror fully and saw how beautiful I truly looked.

"You look so beautiful, Eve," Sara said as she looked at my outfit and Hassan's mom was just squealing in excitement

"You look so beautiful, Eve," Sara said as she looked at my outfit and Hassan's mom was just squealing in excitement.

"Oh! I almost forgot you're going to wear these." Hassan's mom held up two Black Juttis shoes, she helped put them on my feet as Sara helped me with my balance then she added anklets to my ankles afterward.

"Okay! You guys are ready to go." Sara exhaled as she put her hands on her hips.

"Yep!" I smiled. Sara walked away and grabbed all of her makeup equipment in the bathroom. She put them away in her black bag and walked out of the bathroom when she was done.

"Let's walk you downstairs," Hassan's mom said as she wrapped her arm around Sara's. I grabbed my phone and turned off the lights in my room before walking out with them down the stairs.

Hassan's mom was talking to Sara about her anniversary that's coming up to do her makeup when it's time. Once we made it to the floor, I wanted to say thank you to Sara.

"Thank you so much for doing my makeup and helping out with my outfit," I said as we walked her to the front door.

"Any time, have a good evening." Sara hugged Hassan's mom and me before she turned her back out the door.

"You too!" I waved as she got in her Cadillac and drove away. I closed the door in front of us and we walked to the living room.

"Hello, beautiful ladies- OH MY! YOU GUYS LOOK STUNNING." Hassan's father exclaimed making us turn our heads.

"Thank you," I bowed making him smile.

"Thank you, handsome. I just need to do my zipper on the side, it wasn't going up the first time." Hassan's mother said as she looked down at the zipper.

"Do you need help?" I asked as Hassan's mom was trying to fix her zipper.

"No, we got it." She nodded as her husband came over and helped out with her zipper problem. I sat on the couch waiting in silence as I watched the two of them crack jokes and say compliments to one another. After a moment of silence, the doorbell rang and I got up from the couch.

"You can open the door, Eve. I think it's Hassan." Hassan's father said.

I walked over to the front door and opened it. To see my handsome prince standing there in an all-black velvet suit. We both stared at each other for a moment before he walked inside the house, towering over me.

"Eve, babe. You look gorgeous!" Hassan as he looked at me with his arms out and I waved him off.

"Oh, Hassan. It's just a dress, it's nothing." I looked away.

"Oh, stop it! You look beautiful, baby. Own it." Hassan wrapped his arms around my waist before giving me a kiss on the lips.

"Thank you, Hassan. You look sharp if I say so myself." I joked making him chuckle then I touched his jawline.

"Ow, babe your jawline is so sharp it cut my finger." I giggled making him laugh out loud at my corny joke.

"Oh, you are something else." Hassan smiled after our laughter died down then someone coughed making us turn our heads to see his parents standing there looking at us both.

"We are ready to go," Hassan's father smiled. Hassan and I chuckled before he let go of me.

"Okay, let's go." Hassan opened the front door for me and his mom first.

Hassan and I were walking to his car once we walked out of the house together but his father stopped us.

"Let's go together," Hassan's father said as the doors automatically opened by itself. I stared at the dark grey Lamborghini in awe as he sat in the front seat and his wife sat on the passenger side.

I sat inside the backseat and Hassan followed along. Once all the doors closed, Hassan's father pulled out the driveway swiftly and started driving on the road. Hassan and his father drive the same way as if they are in a hurry somewhere. I am telling you they both belong in the movie Fast and Furious the way they drive. Hassan held my hand out of nowhere and I looked at him with a smile before staring out the window looking at the city lights.

.......

We drove on the road for what felt like hours then we made it into a forest, I felt like we were in the movie Tarzan then we pulled up to a white gate that had a tiger on top of it with four guards standing post. One of them came up to the car on the father's side and he rolled down his window. Hassan's father didn't say anything to him then the guard's eyes widen once he saw the father's face. He spoke on the walkie talkie in Hindi before the gate opened widely enough for us to drive through and we continued to drive through the forest. Out of nowhere, I see a castle from far away, it was so magical. Man, these people had big money!

We finally pulled up to the driveway with two cars in front of us then the doors opened up automatically again and Hassan looked at me with a smile before getting out the car. Hassan's father helped his wife out the Lamborghini and they started to walk as they waved their hands at the paparazzi instead of answering their questions. Hassan came on my side and held out his hand for me. I grabbed it and got out the Lamborghini with a smile on my face as the paparazzi cameras were flashing everywhere, I was used to this back at home so this wasn't a problem for me at all. Hassan wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked towards the doors that were already opened for the people to walk into. Loud music was booming throughout the house once we entered into the entryway. There was a maid dressed in white handing us some champagne and we gladly took it before saying thank you to her.

"Wow! This place is amazing." I exclaimed as we looked around with my arm wrapped around Hassan's arm.

"Yeah, it is. Not as amazing as you tho." He smirked. I looked at him and smiled before we continued to walk throughout the house, we both were getting stared at.

I didn't know if it was in a good way or bad way but then again Hassan is a prince so he's famous here in India and I am a black woman that so happened to be with him. I wasn't jealous or anything but I didn't like the way some women were staring at Hassan so I held onto his arm tighter and kissed him on the cheek. He started to smile once he realized what I was doing, he must have seen the women staring at him too. We walked into a room that had food on the tables. Everyone was taking their plates making food for themselves. This must be for the appetizers because the food didn't look that big to be for dinner.

"This is where the food is at huh?" Hassan said making me chuckle. I walked over to the table that had plates and grabbed two for me and Hassan.

"You want some food?" I asked. He nodded before grabbing my plate and we went around to get food. I saw baked pastry and went straight over to that table at the bottom of the food it says Samosa so I am guessing this is what you call it. I filled most of my plate with Samosas while Hassan filled his plate with Bread Cutlets and Chicken Majestic. I came over to where he was and put two Chicken Majestic pieces on my plate.

Once our plates were full, we walked out of the room and went outside. We kept walking until we saw Jhené and Adesh sitting down next to each other eating on a white couch that had a table in front of them. Hassan and I looked at each other before shaking our heads making our way to them. Jhené's eyes lit up once she saw me and I already knew she was going to be hyped. When she stood up I saw her wearing a yellow rose floral printed embroidered bridal Lehenga Choli set with her hair up in a bun. Adesh stood up too once he saw us coming towards them, he was wearing a black dress shirt with a hunter green velvet jacket he also had black pants to match.

"You look so good, mama!" Jhené squealed before hugging me.

"You do too, looking like an Indian princess." I teased making her laugh.

"No, it's you." Jhené spun me around before Adesh came in and gave me a hug.

"You look amazing, Eve! I am glad Hassan found a beautiful girl to love on." Adesh complimented me with a smile.

"Thank you, Adesh. You look good, yourself." I smiled and he nodded.

"Let's sit down and eat," Hassan said before we all took a seat next to each other. I sat in between Hassan and Jhené, once we settled down we started to eat everything off our plates.

I sat in between Hassan and Jhené, once we settled down we started to eat everything off our plates. I didn't even take in the view at first, but it looked so nice the more I looked at it. We had a view of the beach with a ship in the ocean and the moonlight shined brightly. Tonight was windy but not so much, good thing I had Hassan to coz up with. After I was done eating Hassan was already done so I put my head on his shoulder, he lightly put his arm around me and rubbed my arm.

"You know I can stay like this forever," I smiled making him chuckle.

"And I would let you," Hassan said before he kissed me on the forehead.

"You know baby, I was thinking. What happens if Jordan never leaves me alone and I have to be stuck here in India forever with your family and my sister?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"That's not going to happen," Hassan shook his head.

"I know but what if," I said. He closed his eyes and sighed for a moment before he opened his eyes again and spoke.

"Baby, you don't have to worry about a thing. And you know that I wouldn't let that happen because I swear if I see Jordan, I will kill him for what he did to you without question." Hassan sternly said as he looked deep into my eyes.

I was going to question it but then I took in what he said to me. He was right I shouldn't have to worry because if Jordan knew where I was, he would've found me by now.

"Okay," I nodded then Hassan leaned in and gave me a kiss on the lips. It was a strong kiss filled with passion, we almost forget that we were in public. I gently pushed his chest away from mine and looked into his eyes before giggling.

"Babe, we are in public," I whispered. He squinted his eyes with a knowing smile.

"You know I don't care." He said.

"I know you don't but I do, there is a lot of people here." I looked around the place and he looked around too.

"Here comes Aesha with Adam," Jhené says making us sit up.

Everyone started clapping and shouting once Aesha and Adam walked into the place making an entrance. Luckily we had a good view of them so we can see what's going on. Aesha and Adam started to walk over to our direction. We stood up from the white couch.

"Hey, you guys!" Aesha shouted as she ran to us with open arms.

"Hey, Aesha." Hassan smiled once she jumped into his arms.

"Where's my hug at?" Adesh asked then Aesha jumped in his arms too making me chuckle.

"You brought Eve!" Aesha shouted. "Am here," I chuckled as I opened my arms. "Hey!" She said as she hugged me tightly.

"Hey, Jhené. You guys look so beautiful." Aesha said after hugging Jhené looking at us both.

"You too," I said as I looked at her outfit. The outfit she was wearing was a red long sleeve V-neck dress that had some gold designs at the bottom. The dress stopped at her ankles showing off her anklets and Hindi tattoo.

"Thank you, thank you." She flicked her hair off her shoulders, reminding me of her mom because she did the exact same thing at the house.

"I already know your brothers but who are these lovely ladies?" Adam walked beside Aesha looking at me and Jhené. Adam was six feet tall and was extremely handsome, he was wearing a red dress shirt with a white jacket that matched his white pants.

"This is Eve, Hassan's girlfriend." Aesha introduced and Adam shook my hand with a smile on his face. "And this is Jhené, her sister," Aesha said as Adam shook her hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," I said.

"Likewise." Adam smiled as he wrapped his arm around Aesha's waist.

"Anyways we have to say hi to the rest of the family, it was good seeing you guys," Aesha smiled at us then she whispered in my ear. "Especially you." I smiled then she walked away with Adam.

"What did she say?" Hassan asked with squinted eyes.

"Nothing," I smiled as I rubbed his arm.

"I think Aesha and Adam are dancing together." Jhené pointed at the dance floor. Hassan and I turned around to see Aesha and Adam slow dancing to a soft song.

"C'mon let's see up close," Adesh said before he grabbed Jhené's hand and she grabbed my hand as Hassan held onto my other hand.

We walked to the front of the crowd and saw Aesha and Adam sway to the beat slowly. Adam picked Aesha up and spun her around making everyone gasp and stare in awe at these two romantic humans dancing together.

"They look so cute together," Jhené whispered in my ear, I smiled and held her hand. "I know right," I whispered back and she nodded in agreement.

Aesha started to giggle as Adam kept spinning her around in the air then he brought her down to the floor. The music faded slowly in the background and everyone remained in silence as the two stared at each other. Adam grabbed Aesha's hand and went down on one knee making Aesha put her other hand to her mouth. I saw Hassan's parent's reaction and they were thrilled especially Hassan's mom.

"Aesha, you have made me the happiest man alive these past two years. It wasn't easy getting with you but we put in the work and made things work between us. I look at love that way, it's a commitment, not a feeling because feelings can come and go but love is a different story. It's making a choice on who you will love for the rest of your life and I've made a choice to love you for the rest of my life," He looked at Hassan's father before he nodded his head at Adam with a knowing smile. Then Adam pulled out a box from his back pocket and opened it to reveal a shiny golden ring that had a ruby red color in the middle of the ring that stood out making the gold pop out more. "Princess Aesha Abdul, will you marry me?" Adam asked then everyone waited for Aesha to answer in silence.

"Yes! I will marry you, Adam." Aesha shouted with tears in her eyes making everyone clap and cheer for the two of them. I turned to see Jhené crying her eyes out, Adesh rolled his eyes at her then he winked at me before rubbing her arm, I laughed at the scene.

Adam stood up and put the ring on Aesha's finger before pulling her into a kiss making everyone cheer louder if that was possible. Hassan and I were clapping our hands and his parents then Hassan's mom ran to the dance floor where Aesha and Adam were and hugged them both.

"It's a celebration, It's time to loosen up!" Aesha shouted. Once the music started playing Adesh ran to the dance floor and started to dance, he lifted his arms in the air slowly and everyone started to run to the dance floor. I guess that was a dance that gets everybody hyped because everyone started to dance, I started to clap my hands when I saw Jhené dancing with Adesh.

"It's an all-rise dance," Hassan said over the music and I nodded.

"Cool," I smiled then I started to move my hips, this song was fire and everyone was lit.

"You wanna dance?" Hassan asked making me smile.

"Sure," I grabbed his hand and we walked over to the dance floor. Hassan's mom started to do the catwalk dance then she grabbed me and Jhené together to join her in the dance. I was nervous at first but then I got the hang of it then we started to do another dance.

"This one is called the Roti Dance okay." Hassan's mom said. She showed me and Jhené how to do the dance, it's simple. Just move your hip along with your hand in a wave motion as long as your on beat with the music, you got the dance. We kept doing it until Hassan came to me and started to take off his jacket.

"What are you doing, Hassan?" I asked with a smirk.

"I am going to dance with you, Eve." Hassan grabbed my arm and pulled me into his chest.

He put his hands on my hips in a sway motion to the beat and I moved along with him. I turned around and dance on him while putting his hands back on my hips, it was so fun being able to dance with Hassan on the dance floor like this. Adesh wanted to dance with me so I switched myself with Jhené to dance with Hassan while I danced with Adesh. He knew how to dance too, I was surprised. He must have taken dancing classes or something because of how good he was moving along with the beat. Aesha joined the family and started to dance with us along with Adam, we had a grand time. After a while, everyone started to get tired and got something to drink to cool themselves down. Hassan and I were still dancing on the dance floor until I felt that I needed to use the bathroom.

"Hey, babe. I need to go use the bathroom." I said he nodded his head but Aesha looked at us I guess she overheard me.

"I will show you," Aesha says before taking my hand and leading the way to the bathroom.

"Thank you and congratulations. I can't wait for the wedding," I smiled widely once we entered the bathroom.

"Oh! I can't wait either! It's going to be huge. Thank you so much for coming. I have to thank Hassan for bringing you here." Aesha smirked and I shook my head. "It's really a pleasure to be here." I nodded my head.

"Okay, let me let you use the bathroom." Aesha giggled before walking out the bathroom door.

After I finished using the bathroom, I checked myself in the mirror before walking out. I saw a bar and decided to go get a drink for myself, probably I will bring Hassan a drink as well. I asked the bartender for a Sprite before texting Hassan that I was at the bar. After two minutes, I was finally given the Sprite in a bottle. I took a sip of it before I made my way back to the table where Hassan and I were sitting at earlier. Once I spotted Hassan sitting alone on the white couch I started to walk towards him but someone grabbed me by the arm stopping me in my tracks.

"Hi, Eve." I know that voice from anywhere, a voice that I once loved to hear but now I fear. I turned around slowly to see Jordan with a smile on his face. As he looked at my shocked expression he started to chuckle.

"What? You're surprised to see me." Jordan asked with that stupid grin on his face. He knows I don't even want to see his guts right now.

"What are you doing here?" I said as I tried to snatch my hand back but he held onto my arm tighter.

"Is that how you greet your fiancé, your soon to be husband." He smirked.

I couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. I was angry and scared at the same time, I wanted to scream and call out to somebody but I couldn't. Suddenly my body started to feel tired and my eyes began to feel sleepy. I looked down at my hands and my vision began to feel blurry.

"What did you do to me- He cuts me off.

"Am sorry, baby. You're going to have to come with me." He said as I started to fall in his arms slowly then he took me to the back and we walked out of the mansion.

I felt so weak I wanted to fight him but I couldn't, he must have drugged my Sprite. He opened the door to his car and put me on the passenger seat. The only person that I could think of was 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧. I looked at the beautiful mansion right before I closed my eyes.

"Help me, Hassan," I whispered before I drifted off into a deep sleep.
