"Hey, man," I said once I caught up to the chef named Carlos at the entryway of Hassan's house.

"Yeah?" Carlos turned around waiting for me to answer him as I looked at him with a knowing smile on my face.

"Listen, I know you feeling Eve but that's Hassan's girl alright?" I said sternly and he stepped back a little.

"I was just-

"No no, there's no need to explain. Just leave, I will make sure that Hassan pays you with a good bill." I said mentally giving myself a high five.

"Okay, sir. Have a good evening." Carlos quickly said before walking out the front door.

I smiled to myself as I walked back to the dinner table where Hassan, Eve, and my baby love Jhené was sitting at. They were looking at me with confusion but I didn't care so I continued to eat my food.

"So, that's what happened," I said as we all looked at Adesh tell his story in amusement.

"That's what happened." Adesh shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly before taking a shot of Hennessy.

"You didn't have to do homeboy like that." Jhené smiled and Adesh looked at her as if she was crazy.

"I did! He was looking at Eve for too long, I didn't like that." Adesh argued before he looked back at the TV screen, the movie John Wick Chapter three was playing.

"Okay, feisty." Jhené teased before she took the shot of Hennessy to the head.

"Whew." She exclaimed loudly making me laugh at her then Hassan and I took a shot of Vodka together then I started making a sour face afterward once the alcohol went down my throat.

"Again?" Hassan asked looking at me with one eye closed and I chuckled.

"Yeah," I nodded before he poured me a glass of vodka again.

𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧.....

"Promise me, you guys will not tell Aesha that her boyfriend will propose to her," Hassan begged with his eyes closed as he talked to me, Jhené, and Adesh in the living room.

We were in the middle of watching John Wick chapter three then we talked about Aesha and how she called me her sister in law. Adesh laughed the entire time as Hassan told the story. Then Hassan came out of nowhere telling us to promise him that we won't tell Aesha about the surprise engagement party that her boyfriend was going to do for his birthday. I have to say after a few vodka shots that we took together, I think Hassan is a little tipsy.

"Of course," Jhené nodded quickly.

"We promise," I said after looking at Adesh.

"Good, because tomorrow is Monday and Aesha wants me to invite you to Adam's birthday party." Hassan pointed at me as he sat down with us on the couch.

"Who's Adam?" I asked and Hassan rolled his eyes.

"Adam is Aesha's boyfriend. Baby, Keep up." Hassan slurred. Adesh looked at me and Jhené then he got up from the couch.

"Alright, I think it's time for us to go." Adesh rubbed Hassan's shoulder.

"Go where?" Hassan asked with a sad look as he stood up in front of Adesh.

"You can stay because this is your house but I am going to drop the girls off at our parent's house," Adesh explained.

"No, I want to come with you guys." Hassan grabbed his phone and put it in his back pocket before he started walking to the front door.

"Well, it's going to be a long night for you, Darling." Adesh massaged my shoulder as we walked to the front door.

"I bet," I shook my head slowly.

.♥.♥.♥.♥.♥.♥.

Hassan was basically all over me the entire car ride and Adesh was having a laugh the whole time. I can't believe Adesh actually entertained Hassan's drunkenness as Hassan kept saying how much he loved us. Once we got to the house, Adesh came on the other side to help Hassan out the backseat then he walked him to the house.

"I will meet you up in a sec." Jhené motioned for me to go inside the house as soon as I got out of the car.

"Okay," I exhaled before the closing the car door then Adesh walked out the front door, he winked at me as he walked back to the car.

"Goodnight, Eve. It was nice getting to know you better." Adesh smiled as he opened the car door.

"It was nice getting to know you too, Adesh." I smiled before I walked inside the house.

I closed the front door behind me leaving Adesh and Jhené outside in the car alone and silence filled the air. Hassan was sitting on the bottom stairs waiting for me then I helped him stand up and put his arm around my shoulder.

𝙄 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙢 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨.

Once I made it to my room, I closed the door behind us and Hassan sat on my bed then he started smiling.

"Is this part where we take each other's clothes off." Hassan slurred his words with a smirk on his face as I helped him take off his shoes before laying him on the bed.

"In your dreams, prev," I said making him laugh, I shook my head at him.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬?

"I am so stressed and worried," Hassan whined as he covered his face.

As if he can read my thoughts once again, this man has a superpower, okay.

"Why are you so stressed and worried?" I asked taking his hands off his face.

"Because of Jordan," Hassan said and I stopped breathing for a second.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚?

"What are you talking about, Hassan?" I asked and he sat up against the headboard.

"He's a drug lord." Hassan exhaled with a sad look on his face.

"That's not true," I shook my head in disbelief.

"I have papers and pictures to prove so." Hassan held his hand up as he took out his phone from the back pocket of his jeans and threw it at me weakly.

"What's your password?" I looked at the screen that was showing five digits.

"512...9...8," Hassan said slowly, I could tell he was trying to remember. I typed in the numbers and the phone went to the home screen, it had a picture of me sleeping in his background and I smiled.

"Did you find the pictures yet? I am getting sleepy and I want you to sleep with me." Hassan whined and I went to his photos as he spoke.

"Hold on," I said then I saw a picture of Jordan with two girls on him at a strip club, I became discouraged so I swapped left.

The next one was a video, I pressed play and saw Jordan talking to an elderly man then he shot him clean in the car. I gasped loudly making Hassan look at me then he grabbed the phone away from me weakly and looked at the screen for a moment before turning to look at me again.

"I am so sorry you had to find out this way," Hassan rubbed my back then I laid down on him crying on his chest.

I was such an idiot, why didn't I see the signs before? Maybe I was blind by love or something? I don't know what it was about Jordan that made me like him in the first place, to be honest. I guess it was the good looks and smooth talk he gave me but now I am realizing that he did show himself to me many times but I didn't pay attention.

"It's not your fault, it's mine." I wept then Hassan lifted my chin up to look at him then he gave me a kiss on the lips.

"It's not your fault, baby. Never forget that." Hassan said then we continued to kiss.

The kiss started to deepen as he took control then I got on his lap, straddling him. He put his arm around my waist as we kissed more. As he started to kiss my neck, someone knocked on the door. I quickly got off of Hassan and wiped my mouth then we both looked at each other for a moment before my sister came inside my room. She paused for a second then she spoke.

"Um, I am staying the night at Adesh's house," Jhené said with a bag on her shoulder.

"Okay," I nodded.

"Goodnight, y'all," Jhené said before leaving the room.

"Goodnight," I shouted.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do, okay?" Jhené stuck her head out the door making me and Hassan laugh then she left.

"Your sister is something else," Hassan giggled.

"I know right," I looked at him then he grabbed my hand.

"You wanna continue?" Hassan asked in a seductive tone.

"Let's just call it a night, babe." I exhaled and he nodded before kissing my hand.

"Okay, baby." Hassan smiled then I gave him one last kiss on the lips before getting off the bed heading towards the bathroom, to take off my dress and brush my teeth.

After I was done, I walked out of the bathroom with a robe on to see Hassan passed out on my bed. I chuckled at the scene before I looked in the closet to find my pajama set to wear. Once I found it, I put it on and turned off the lights in the room, the only light that was in the room was the moonlight coming from the window that showed a fantastic view of the ocean. I laid down next to Hassan slowly trying not to wake him up then I put the covers over us both before laying down facing him. Hassan looked so peaceful while he slept. His wavy hair was in his face covering his eyes so I moved his hair away slowly to show his handsome face more.

"Goodnight, Hassan." I closed my eyes then I felt his arm pull me closer to his chest.

"Goodnight, my Queen." Hassan sleepy said I chuckled before going to sleep.

The sound of my ringtone woke me up and I opened my eyes to see Hassan's handsome face once again. His presence alone made me smile but the moment came to an end when I heard my phone go off again.

I turned around to grabbed my phone off the nightstand making Hassan toss and turn then he put his arm around my waist again. I looked at him with a smile then I looked at my phone again to see Jhené text me.

I saw the bubbles appear on the screen as I waited for a text back. What else is she going to say?

"Who are you texting?" Hassan asks making me jump.

"Jhené." I rolled my eyes as I put my phone back down before turning my body around so Hassan can see me.

"Oh, well you sure was typing loud as hell." Hassan rubbed his eyes and I chuckled.

"Why do I have a headache?" Hassan asked with one eye closed.

"Because you got drunk last night." I crossed my arms and his eyes lit up.

"You can't be serious, please tell me I didn't do anything stupid," Hassan whined.

"Does showing me a picture of Jordan, something stupid?" I asked and he sat up looking at me with a sad look.

"What did you see?" He asked as he took hold of my hand.

"I saw Jordan shot someone in the car." Iooked away.

"Am so sorry." Hassan put his head on my lap.

"You said the same thing yesterday but more slurred," I said as I rubbed his hair then he chuckled.

"Huh, I bet," Hassan said and I could tell he was smiling.

"Breakfast is ready, Eve!" Hassan's mom shouted behind the door making us jump.

"Okay! I will be down in a sec." I shouted as I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. As I was brushing my teeth, Hassan came in and started watching me then he walked to the other side of the sink.

"What are you doing?" I asked with my mouth full of toothpaste as he opened the cabinet door below me and took out another toothbrush and put toothpaste on it.

"Brushing my teeth," Hassan shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly before he started to brush his teeth.

Once I was done, I spit the water out and took off some of my makeup from yesterday because I was too tired to do it last night. Hassan was still brushing his teeth as I put on my white fluffy slippers from the closet.

"You can go down, I will change into something more comfortable," Hassan said as he wiped his hands with the washcloth that was beside the sink.

"Okay, see ya." I smiled before I walked out of my room and walked downstairs, smelling a good mix of eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuits.

"Good morning, beautiful." Hassan's mom smiled widely as soon as she saw me walk in the kitchen. I noticed that she was wearing an apron so that meant she was the one cooking the food because I didn't see the maids around.

"Good morning," I said and she smiled again. I took a sit on the stool in front of the island and watched her take the bacon out of the oven.

"Your cooking this morning?" I asked she turned around.

"Yes, I am. The food is ready, I just have to put the food on the plates." She said as she took off her apron and set it on the counter.

"Hey, you don't have to do that. We are grown people, we can make our own plates." I waved her off and she put her hands on her hips.

"You know what? Your right, I've been too kind to my boys." She grabbed two plates from the cabinet. "Well, men." She finished saying and I giggled.

"But I will make your plate since your the one who woke up first." She smiled and I nodded.

"Well, let's just hope Hassan doesn't take me away this time." I smiled and she giggled as she put some grits on my plate then she put eggs on the side.

"Good morning, ma," Hassan spoke brightly, his voice alone can make me smile. He was dressed in a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants.

"Good morning," Hassan's mom smiled as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Adesh isn't home right?" She asked as he sat beside me on the stools.

"No," Hassan shook his head as she placed a full plate of eggs, grits, bacon, and honey biscuits in front of me.

I started to smile as I picked up the fork that was already on the island beside me and I prayed before I started to eat some of my eggs.

"Neither is Jhené?" She continued and I almost choked on my eggs, Hassan looked at me curiously then he looked back at his mom.

"I don't think so," Hassan squinted his eyes before he stood up and grabbed a plate of his own. What was he thinking about?

"Am guessing the two of them are with each other, huh?" Hassan's mom asked as she put food on her plate.

"Yeah, they are." I nodded finally swallowing my eggs. Hassan grabbed a cup from the cabinet and poured some orange juice in it from the fridge then he slid the cup over to me.

"Looks like you need it," He whispered then he winked at me. Before I could say anything, he turned his back and poured himself a glass of orange juice as well.

"Well, Hassan I hope you don't mind me taking your beautiful girlfriend to the fitting room today." Hassan's mom smiled as she sat next to me on the stool taking his spot and I looked at her confused.

"What's a fitting room?" I asked then she took a sip of her orange juice.

"A private room in the house to see if an outfit fits your body nicely, we don't like going to malls because there are paparazzi everywhere," Hassan explained.

"So we have a designer come to the house and lets us try some outfits for certain occasions." Hassan's mom continued, I nodded my head slowly.

"I don't mind, ma. You can take her, I will have her all night at Adam's birthday party." Hassan winked at his mom and she giggled.

"Aren't you guys the cutest." Hassan's mom squealed and I shook my head in embarrassment then I continued to eat my food in silence.

"It's a traditional Indian party so we have to get dressed up and show out tonight. We have to show how good the family looks together, we want to leave a good impression for Adam's family. Especially since he's proposing to her!" Hassan's mom squealed the last part and Hassan chuckled at her excitement.

"I know right, I can't wait." I smiled then I ate some of my bacon.

"Once we are done eating, we will go to the fitting room and the designer should be here by then." Hassan's mom rubbed my hand and I nodded in agreement.

"Okay," I said she smiled before she picked up her fork and started to eat some of her eggs.

"Okay, I will leave you ladies to it." Hassan grabbed his plate and started to walk to the living room.

"Hassan, check up on your brother for me. I want to make sure the family is on time and is dressed for the occasion." Hassan's mom pointed then he put a thumb up at her making her chuckle.

"Okay, ma." He said then he looked at me with a smile before leaving me in the kitchen with his mom.
