Journey to Asmovius Kingdom (1)

A long conversation ensued after that. It was then that Lein found out that they were from D'etree City; is about 73 miles from Astorm Forest. Thinking he had memorized the name of the city, he dug further into his memory and found nothing, other than deducing that he had accidentally read the name on the map.

However, the name Alice Scent sounded familiar to his ears. Moreover, seeing the creation magic she displayed to create the large jug; which was a high level magic that was actually difficult to learn, Lein felt that Alice was an important figure in the future. However, he couldn't remember because in the past, the Asmovius Kingdom was a place that Lein had almost completely neglected, other than the Anderlecht rescue quest.

On the other hand, the three of them came to the conclusion that Andes would take the swordsman's path at Asmovius Magic and Sword Academy. With the skill he displayed earlier, he had a high chance of gaining success there, at least becoming one of the lackey of the 12 Best Warriors Asmovius Kingdom's, or becoming the Kingdom's Head Chef. Of course the cooking skill cannot be ignored!

"In that case, isn't traveling together the best solution for us? I feel a lot safer with you," Alice said as she shot Ron and George a piercing look, which immediately made both of them put on grim faces. Looking at them, Alice couldn't help but sigh, then continued, "This is certainly a good exchange for you. If something bad happens to your large jug, I have enough power to make it again, even without the help of clay. We can use materials whatever is available in nature. At least, it can be a temporary place."

Lein immediately agreed to Alice's offer. However, not because of the large jug, but because Lein did not know the exact location of the Asmovius Kingdom. During his time in this world, Lein had never gone further than Astrada Village and the Astorm Forest. Even in his first life, the Asmovius Kingdom wasn't a place where he visited or looked for quests.

"Ah, since your jug is done, how about the food you promised earlier?" said George with a face full of lust, which made his two friends look disgusted. Where did he put his shame? That line didn't even deserve Alice's mention; the one who made the large jug. However, since both of them also wanted that, they couldn't help but sigh and were slightly amazed by George's courage.

"Okay." Looking at the hologram, Lein picked out 3 burgers there, and they popped out of the hologram like a card in a cash machine. However, because the action was too fanciful, he took the 3 burgers as if they came out of his pocket. However, it still raised suspicions when noticed by Ron.

"How big is your pocket?" said Ron with a suspicious expression. For the size of the chicken pieces it's probably still reasonable. However, with those 3 big buns, how could it fit all of them? Does his pocket have space magic in it?

"Who cares about that?" George grabbed one of the buns and quickly hid it in his suit. When Ron asked, he took the opportunity to measure which size of the bun was the largest. Using all of his abilities to analyze it, he came to the conclusion that the bun he had secured was slightly larger in size.

"Damn it! You stole the start!" Ron who was surprised by George's action immediately took his share and forgot his question. He naturally assumed that the size of his shirt pocket was indeed very spacious. Obviously, it makes more sense than space magic.

"Shameless bastard!" Alice also moved towards Lein and took the remaining piece.

After that, they took another bite of the burger together, and again said great compliments.

The next day.

The four of them had already completed all the preparations to leave for the Asmovius Kingdom. A large jug with beautiful carvings encircling all parts of the jug, also filled with lots of koi fish in it. Lein didn't know if bringing koi fish would still give him extra stats. However, even if it wasn't, it was still much better than others finding them.

Not far from Lein who lifted a large jug and placed it on his back, Ron took out a map he kept in the back of his suit pocket. The choice is very correct by storing it there. Because, with the map, even though he had lost all of his wealth due to some calamity, he still had it to help him find a way out and have greater chances in life.

Watching it for a moment and comparing it to where they were standing, Ron decided to head south, and the three of them began to follow Ron's lead.

3 hours passed quickly. During the journey, Lein naturally took the frontal position to clear obstructions such as tree branches, bushes, vines, by using his dagger. After nearly 6 hours later, they rested under a giant tree and started preparing food.

Lein didn't want to continue spending gold on them, that's why he caught whatever was available in nature like wild fowl, vegetables that looked familiar, spices, then blended everything and cooked for them. Even though while in this world he used almost all the food available at the shop, because while on earth he lived alone, his cooking skills need not be doubted. Hence, their familiarity began to show.

When it was getting late afternoon, they continued their journey. During that time, they started encountering some monsters such as goblins and low-level orcs. Due to Lein's presence, the three of them had a bit of courage to join in the resistance. From there, Lein learned that Ron had expertise in fire magic, and George in wind magic. Even though both of them only had basic magic elements, but with good enough control from both of them, it wasn't too bad.

When it was night, they started looking for a resting place. After finding a giant tree with low branches that gave them enough cover for shelter, Ron set up a bonfire in the center while the others took blankets from their respective bags.

Ron, George, and Lein, agreed to take turns every 4 hours to keep watch around. When it was Lein's turn, he used the opportunity to test if the koi fish were still giving him stats even though they weren't in the well.

Buying 2 burgers at the shop, Lein threw the grilled meat towards the large jug. Not waiting for a long time, a notification appeared from the hologram which immediately caused a big smile on his lips.
