O – O – O – O – O – O

*Gasp*

I suddenly woke up, catching my breath for a moment.

"wha- what the…"

"what is this."

As I awakened, I found myself surrounded by criptic words, with text resembling code floating all around me. The vibrant green text and numbers flickered and rearranged in every direction my gaze turned.

O – O – O – O – O – O

Encyclopedia System

O – O – O – O – O – O

"Encyclopedia?"

The coded words started to change into ordinary words, displayed in bold and glowing letters. A floating sign that read "Encyclopedia System" appeared in the corner.

*thud*

Out of nowhere the door on the opposite side of the room swung open, and a group of individuals entered, causing a commotion to make the disruptive letters disappear, I closed and reopened my eyes repeatedly, but unfortunately, they persisted.

Lying down, I waved my hands in the hopes that they would magically vanish.

Encyclopedia… Encyclopedia of What?

As the noise gradually grows louder, it draws nearer to my location in the room. Evidently, the patient has been allocated a bed adjacent to mine. Concerned feminine voices can e heard accompanying the patient to their designated space.

"Hey, there's another person on the other side?" one of the girls said.

"Yeah, I think there is we should keep it down…" the other said.

They lied and continued to make noise.

"Hey! Keep it down." with a scratchy voice, an old man from the other side of the room shouted.

"You youngsters, why can't you kids read the sign." He points his hand on a plastic sign with its text scratched saying Please be Quiet.

"sorry-"

"sorry…"

After receiving their apology, the noise gradually subsided. The sign "encyclopedia System" remains suspended in the center of my vision.

I started surveying my surroundings, turning my head in different directions, but no matter where I look, the sign persists in its fixed position. It's almost as if an imperceptible screen is obstructing my sight.

Ah!

Out of nowhere and with complete stealth, Amy swiftly moved in front of my bed, effortlessly appearing behind the illuminated words. It's truly remarkable how she has perfected the art of being unnoticed and then popping up unexpectedly.

My attention gradually went from the letters and to Amy.

"Hello, uh- you need anything?" I asked

"I… I uhh-" She stutters as she looks down trying to not make eye contact to me again.

"Wou-would you- please- invi-" she said silently as I couldn't hear clearly what she says.

"Amy I can't hear you." I said.

For a moment she kept silent until-

"Would you please be kind and accept our invitation to come home with us." She said fast with a sudden courage.

"we're really sorry but, we- we don't have enough money to keep you s-stay here… a- after a few more days, you wont have a place to stay. So if its ok, for your safety… stay with us… at home." Amy explained

"Oh I see." I said.

Morgan's assertion is correct, leaving me with no alternative. At present, my utmost concern is reconnecting with my origins and uncovering the events that transpired during the past thirteen years.

Morgan elucidated that reviewing my documents will be a lengthy procedure involving government officials.

Additionally, there is the enigmatic matter of my own reincarnation and the perplexing texts that appear in my vision.

"Sure, thank you." I approved immediately right after rethinking.

"Brother doesn't want to say it to you… hi-his afraid you'll worry about it." Amy explained.

"its ok I should be thank you two even more if I'm gonna be honest."

Out of nowhere, the curtain on my right side was swiftly tugged open, instantly eliminating the divide between my area and the patient's area.

"Oh its that girl,

"she's the one who stutters a lot"

"Hey, don't say that" the patient spoke.

Two individuals, one with yellow hair and the other with a striking marine blue hue, are positioned next to the patient who is resting in bed.

An additional man also stands by the bedside. All of them seem to wear the same uniform as what Amy wears.

The individual lying on the opposite side of the bed shifted their position to face us.

Their gaze fixed upon Amy, revealing a noticeable bruising around the left eye. Nonetheless, their eyes remained alert, and their facial expression conveyed as sense of attentiveness.

The person had neatly trimmed, orange-colored hair. Visible evidence of bruises adorned their arms, while scattering of scratches marred their face. It is likely that there are additional marks on their body.

"Amy? Oh, is he a friend of yours?" The patient asks as he smiles.

"yes, I- I should get going now." Amy closed the curtain Infront of my bed and immediately ran outside.

That fast?

"What's your relationship with her?" He asked me.

"Ah we just became friends recently, very recently. Sorry, but I can't help but ask what happened-" I said.

"She mentioned her brother, you know him?" He asked another question interrupting me.

"ye- yeah, He's been helping me out-" I said.

*Thud*

Suddenly, another person came inside the room and rushed over to him on his bed.

"Christ, what the hell were you thinking Evan." The man said as he walks up to the patient.

"Ok calm down. its just a few bruises-"

"Now everyone's gonna think like you're a delinquent."

"Kyaru, close the curtain first please." Evan said to the girl with blue hair.

The young lady drew the curtain to separate us once again, creating a barrier. Their conversation took on a hushed tone, causing their voices to become muffled.

I reclined onto my pillow, letting out a deep sigh. I gently rubbed my eyes, hoping the letters would vanish as I did so.

With two quick blinks, I aimed to improve my vision. Unexpectedly, the letters transformed and vanished from my sight, reappearing on a completely different interface.
