chapter one ~ introduction

my mom got married to dad thinking he could fullfil all her dreams. well dad is not a straight forward person, when dad was still courting her he would buy a lot of things and bring a car along with him just to impress her. at the end after the wedding she found out that all the things he bought was on credit and the car was rented. and before she could pull out of the marriage she was already pregnant with me, and was forced to stay in the marriage.

all the hardships had begun from there, one I was pulled out of school for my brother to start it was both heartbreaking and unfair.

I was hurt when I over heard my parents talking about sending me away .

" dear I really think we should send her to treasures place"

mom insisted

" no dear I think..."

my dad counters but was interupted by me

" mom, dad I do not want to go any where I can stay here and help in the store please don't send me away"

I tried to convey the fact to them. they both stared at each other before smiling at me.

after three weeks my aunt and uncle visited, they both asked why I was not in school and my mom went ahead and told them every thing. my uncle offerers to help and insists on buying me a scholarship form.

a month had passed by and I was waiting for my scholarship results oh God I hope I have passed
