CHAPTER 53

My body was shivering from fear, I reached the towel and rushed out if the bathroom after turning off the shower.

"Xander! Xander!! Xander!!!" I yelled as I skipped the staircase, running into the kitchen.

"What's going on?" My mother who was watching a program at the sitting room asked" standing up to meet me.

"I don't know mother. There was a voice—" I was about explaining when Xander came in to know what was happening. I couldn't wait for him to reach me, when I rushed into his arms, hugging him tight.

His heart began beating very fast, I could literally hear the pumping. It was so unusual. I was about asking him why his heart was beating that fast when he kissed my cheek.

"Why are you screaming baby? Did you hear a voice speaking in your head?" He smirked and I felt he was trying to hold back his laughter.

"Wait, hold on a minute! How did you know I heard a voice in my head? Because I don't remember telling you right now?" I asked, my gaze fixed on him.
