Location: Dagon apartment:
It was one of those hottest summer nights. Y/N was doing his homework. He was nervy and on edge because his sister was out for so long. He would not normally be tensed about her as he knows that his sister doesn't need anyone and she can take care of herself. But he couldn't get those intrusive thoughts out of his mind.
After what felt like forever, he heard the sound of the door opening. He quickly got out of his room to see.
"Greetings, brother! You haven't gone to sleep yet?"
"No. Where were you? I was worried sick."
"I was at our cavern. Look what we've got in the mail!" Brenna unzipped her bag and pulled out a big envelope, excitedly.
"What?" Y/N asked. Brenna handed Y/N the envelope. When he opened the envelope, his eyes widened in excitement. "A carnival! In wizard world!" Y/N squealed in excitement.
"Yes, brother." Brenna giggled at her brother's enthusiasm.
"Are you sure professor crumbs would want us there?" Y/N asked.
"Of course! Then why would we get an invite with our names printed on it?" Brenna asked. Y/N nodded in agreement. "You and I, we were both waiting for this day. To be with our friends, our favorite teachers and that pretty girlfriend of yours.." Brenna smirked while saying the last part.
"Brenna!"
"I am kidding, sorry. But still, these two days are going to be the most amazing two days, I can feel it." Brenna said.
"I think so too. Anyways I was so fed up with these earth people and I wanted a distraction." Y/N sighed.
"Oh come on, these people are so nice."
"You havent seen what I saw." Y/N shook his head. "And you have never encountred the witch named Alex Russo. I'm sure she will change your mind."
"What is it with you and her? She just tore your homework, is that it? She is very sweet otherwise." Brenna said.
"Sweet? Her?" Y/N scoffed.
"Dont be rude, brother. Atleast she didn't set your dress on fire on your birthday." Brenna giggled.
"Can we change the subject, please." Y/N rolled his eyes.
"Okay okay, and yeah I bought you another surprise."
"No way! what is it?"
"Here you go." Brenna handed Y/N a box.
"A mobile phone?"
"Yes. Everyone here has one of these. It makes easier to contact with people who are far far away." Brenna said.
"Do we really need this? I dont know how to use it."
"How will you contact me when you dont know where I am? You cant Roar." Brenna laughed. "And about using it, I will teach you whatever I know and you can even ask your friends."
"Thank you, Bren."
"You are welcome, my sweet little brother." Brenna smiled.

Location: Russo's Wizard Lair.
"Into thin air, send this chair." Max chanted the disappearing spell to make the chair in front of him disappear but instead, he turned himself into that chair.
Justin came into the lair when he heard max yelling. He kept looking around until he realises that the voice was coming from the chair.
"You held the wand in opposite direction, didn't you?" Justin sighed.
"No...uh..maybe a little...Into thin air, send this chair." Max repeated the spell and turned back into normal. "Dad was right. If I want to win this wizard competition, I need a tutor."
"That's an insult, the best tutor around is right in front of you!" Justin got up from his seat and exclaimed.
"I heard yelling. Is justin being passionate about his knowledge again?" Alex joined them with a giggle.
"Max says, Dad hired a tutor for him." Justin said.
"If dad is getting max a tutor, then I am probably next. Why am I saying probably. I am next, oh my!" Alex facepalmed.
"I have got an Idea, when the wizard tutor gets here, I will shame him into leaving in disgrace by showing him my vast knowledge of wizadry." Justin said.
"Yep just be yourself. That always gets rid of people." Alex scoffed.
"Haha. How funny!" Justin mocked.
"Anyways, look what I got from the wizard mail this morning." Alex showed an envelope.
"What is that?" Justin asked.
"Is that a birthday card? Is it my birthday today? Why haven't anybody wished me?" Max asked. Alex and Justin looked at each other with scrunched brows.
"Le- let's ignore him." Alex said. "So, There's a carnival in wizard world and we are invited." Alex said. She handed the invitation to Justin.
"Its a two day carnival with themed rides, games, cosplays and food from all around the world. A best place to go for a date. This is going to be insane." Justin yelled in excitement.
"A date?." Alex asked.
"I am going to take Juliet as my date. She will love it." Justin said.
"Yeah whatever. I have got an excuse to not go to school for two days." Alex smiled.
"Those two days are sunday and monday so technically, its just one day to not attend school." Justin said.
"Whatever! Wiz Idiot!" Alex huffed. Before they could say anything, the portal behind them started glowing.
"My tutor's here. I hope he's a wise old owl." Max crossed his fingers. They all turned around to welcome the tutor.
A tall brunette with hazel coloured eyes walked out of the portal with some books in her hand. She waved Hi when she saw everyone looking at her.
"Urh! Not an old owl but a cute brunette chick!" Max sighed. "Justin,Get rid of her."

"Hi-Hey, I am Justin, this is Alex and that is Max." Justin shyly introduced everyone to Tutor.
"Am I supposed to tutor him too?" Tutor asked.
"Him? No. Infact your services aren't needed here at all because my brother has a vast knowledge of wizardry that may shame you in leaving in disgrace. Isnt that right justin? Justin?" Alex shook his brother who kept staring at tutor, nonstop.
"So honoured to have you here to tutor our dear brother." Justin ignored Alex and introduces Max to tutor again and said. "If there is anything that you need just ask me. Please just ask." His tone sounded a bit flirty.
"Really, is that all it takes? Just a pretty face. Guys are so easy." Alex sighed and rolled eyes at her brother.
"Yeah we are pretty easy." Justin sneered.
"Don't you h-" Alex trailed off when Justin's phone started ringing. When he pulled out the phone from his pocket, his eyes widened.
"I-Uhm-I have to leave, see you later, tutor!" Justin gave a flirty smile before leaving.
"Thats his girlfriend by the way. Her name is Juliet and she is a vampire." Alex giggled and took a seat on the couch nearby.

Tutor taught max some spells.
"Lets practice. First of all, show me how you hold your wand, Max. Some people hold it backwards, I hope you aren't one of them." Tutor said.
"I dont hold it backwards." Max chuckled.
"Nope, max would never hold his wand backwards. He just sometimes stands on the wrongside of it." Alex said which made tutor and alex burst in laughter. Tutor stopped when she saw embarrassed face of Max.
"You are holding your wand right but dont grip it too tight. You are not judy axehands." Tutor said as she helped max to hold the wand correctly.
"Woah! You read judy axehand. Thats like the best wizard comicbook out there." Alex said as she got up from her place, amused.
"By best you mean the most lame." Tutor smiled.
"Yes. I have the whole series. Let me get 'em." Alex said. She turns back to say "I like you. I hope you dont wreck it."

"Good evening, Alex." Harper said while entering the shop.
"Hey, Harper!" Alex greeted and turned back to mind her business.
"Are you going, somewhere?" Harper asked.
"Yeah, Tutor and I are going to do some shopping." Alex said.
"You are hanging out with her again?"
"Yeah, Why?"
"I-Uhm-She is kinda suspicious." Harper huffed.
"No, she is not."
"Yes She is. Come on, who names their child, tutor?"
"Harper, it is common in wizard world. People name their children on what they want them to be in the future. But it does'nt work all the time. My dad goes to a barber named Butcher." Alex laughed.
"You might have so many things common and she can be your friend but she can't replace me as your best friend, right?" Harper chuckled nervously.
"No one can replace you, harper. Just look at you, you are wearing an outfit made of fruit rolls." Alex mocked.
"I am wearing an outfit made of fruit rolls. No one can make it except me. I am irreplaceable." Harper exclaimed in nervousness. All the customers brought their attention to Harper's yelling. Alex left the place in embarrassment.

"This place is amazing. They make the tastiest sandwiches in all waverly place." Alex said.
"Your father owns a sandwich shop too right?" Tutor asked.
"I know what you're trying to say. You want something fresh, tasty and affordable? Honestly, This is the place." Alex said.
"O-Okay. Let's see." Tutor said.
They both got inside and took a seat on a table. Alex looked around to find someone to give her and tutor's order.
"Excuse me!" Alex called Y/N who was standing at the cash counter.
"What do you wanna try?" Alex asked Tutor.
"I dont know. I'll take anyt-" Tutor trailed off when she saw the boy standing next to them. She was shocked and her mouth was still open.
"What can I get you?" Y/N asked.

"I-uh-No-Its on his badge. Yeah, see." Tutor chuckled.
"Yeah..Right.." Alex said. Alex have their orders and Y/N went in to prepare it.
Alex was now suspicious. Even though tutor averted it and Y/N was like he doesn't know tutor, there's still something fishy.
