Getting Ready for Banquet

"Attention, please. Attention, please."

"Welcome aboard the Star Luo ocean liner. Tonight, we will host a grand cocktail party to welcome you all. Please dress up and join us."

"This will be a networking event to foster the friendship between the two continents. We will also play some interesting games. Everyone is welcome to participate."

The ship's radio interrupted Anping's story. Except for Anping, Gu Yuena and Xu Xiaoyan showed interest in the announcement.

Le Zhengyu was more than interested. He was excited. He loved lively events and did not want to miss this one.

He was the first one to speak. Despite what had happened, he was still cheerful and lively. He said loudly, "I'll go back and find something to wear. I'll dazzle everyone tonight."

Xu Xiaoyan glanced at him. Le Zhengyu was handsome, but his expression annoyed her. She said angrily, "You think you're the only one who can dazzle everyone? I think Brother Anping is much more handsome than you."

Le Zhengyu ignored Xu Xiaoyan's sarcasm. He said, "Okay, I'll go back and change first, and I'll see you at lunch."

Xu Xiaoyan did not understand Le Zhengyu's haste. She asked doubtfully, "Why are you in such a hurry? The party is at night. Who are you changing for now?"

Anping knew what Le Zhengyu was thinking. He said casually, "Of course, it's to catch the eye of some girls at dinner."

He did not care if he could survive a fight with them. His grandfather had told him that they would be in charge of his training plan until he returned from Star Luo.

He heard Xu Xiaoyan's mocking laughter behind him. He quickened his pace, afraid that Gu Yuena would drag him for some practical training.

After Le Zhengyu left, Xu Xiaoyan stopped laughing. She looked at Anping, who had a dull expression. She said, "Brother Anping, why are you so uninterested in the party?"

Anping nodded and said, "I'm really not interested. I'd rather stay in the room and read more. I don't know what the Star Luo Empire is thinking. They put Sun Moon Academy and Shrek Academy on the same ship. And they still hold this kind of event."

Xu Xiaoyan was slightly startled. She had not thought of this problem until Anping reminded her. If she went to the party, she would surely meet the people from Shrek Academy.

She said, "Maybe we shouldn't go then."

Gu Yuena was not worried about this. She patted Xu Xiaoyan's shoulder and comforted her. "We should go. How can we miss it? They won't dare to attack us at the party."

Anping was not very keen on this, but he saw that Gu Yuena was interested. He did not refuse and nodded in agreement.

Seeing Anping nod in agreement, Gu Yuena pulled him towards the bedroom, saying that she wanted to help him choose an outfit. Xu Xiaoyan said goodbye and went back to her room.

Meanwhile, at Shrek Academy, Xie Xie and Tang Wulin, who did not know that Le Zhengyu had changed rooms, were knocking on the door of his old room.

After a while, no one opened the door. Xie Xie said quietly, "I don't know what's up with Le Zhengyu. He said he was strolling on the boat. He hasn't come back for so long. I wonder what he saw."

Tang Wulin was a little worried. He said, "Do you think something happened to him? Let's go find Teacher Wu and ask him."

Xie Xie was dragged by Tang Wulin to Wu Zhangkong's room. He said helplessly, "What could happen to him? We are students from Shrek Academy. No one would dare to mess with us on the ship."

Soon, they arrived at Wu Zhangkong's room. Wu Zhangkong opened the door after two knocks. He saw Tang Wulin and Xie Xie and asked with some confusion, "What's the matter with you two?"

Tang Wulin said anxiously, "Teacher Wu, we went to look for Le Zhengyu and found that he was not in his room. Do you think something happened to him?"

When Wu Zhangkong heard that Tang Wulin was looking for Le Zhengyu, he said, "He's not in his room? Maybe he moved."

Tang Wulin was surprised. He said, "Moved?"

Wu Zhangkong nodded. He said, "Yes, Le Zhengyu has dropped out of academy. He should be living on the same floor as Sun Moon Academy now. If you really want to find him, remember to avoid conflict with the people from Sun Moon Academy."

They would all find out sooner or later anyway, so Wu Zhangkong told them the truth. He also hoped that Tang Wulin and Xie Xie could persuade Le Zhengyu to come back.

Tang Wulin felt disappointed when he heard Wu Zhangkong's words. He did not expect that two of his classmates would drop out of academy and leave in such a short time, and they were both related to Anping and Gu Yuena.

They knew why Xu Xiaoyan had dropped out of academy, but Tang Wulin was confused about Le Zhengyu's decision. He thought that Le Zhengyu had just met Anping and Gu Yuena for the first time.

After hearing the news from Wu Zhangkong, Tang Wulin took Xie Xie back without a word and gathered all the students who had come with Shrek.

When everyone arrived at Tang Wulin's room, Wu Siduo asked, "Tang Wulin, why did you call us here in such a hurry? The party is not until tonight, right?"

Wu Siduo did not hate Tang Wulin as much as she did before, after spending some time with him. Her tone was much nicer than before.

Tang Wulin saw the curious eyes of his classmates. He said, "I heard from Teacher Wu that Le Zhengyu dropped out of academy. I want to go and talk to him and see what's going on. Do you want to come with me?"
