Layla's side:

We sat on the bench next to the playground and talked, when a little kid, about the age of 6, came up to us.

"H-hello"

L -"Oh- hello"

I didn't know the child, but i gave him a kind smile anyway.

"H-how are y-you d-doing today!"

L -"I'm doing great!, how about you"

"I-i'm okay!"

L -"Where's your mom?"

"S-she's sitting over there!"

The little kid proceeded to point to where a woman, who seemed very occupied, was sitting.

L -"Your mommy's very pretty"

"Th-Th- tank you!"

Jacob's side:

I watched in silence as Layla continued her conversation with the little boy, i never knew she was good with kids. I found myself watching in admiration as they kept going back and forth.

L -"What to you like to do for fun?"

"I-i like when me and m-my sister share"

L -"That's nice, what do you and your sister share?"

"When w-we share our toys, we play doctor and superhero!"

L -"Wow cool!, who's your favorite hero?"

"Ss- s- Superman!"

L -"He's my favorite too!"

Layla's side:

I was about to ask him about his sister when his mother walked up to us.

"William, what are you doing wandering around?"

"I- i was bored"

The mother then turned to me, with the little boy in her arms.

"I'm sorry about that, William is quite adventurous"She says

L -"Oh no problem! You're child is very kind"

"How about we get ice cream later, does that sound good?"

"Yeah! Ice cream!" the little boy responded

"Okay now say goodbye to the kind woman"

"G-goodbye lady!"

L -"Goodbye!"

The woman left with her child soon after, and we went on with our day.

L -"Her kid was so cute!"

J -"Yeah he sure was"

I got ready for me and Jacob's diner date, since it was only an hour away. I chose to wear a black fitted dress with two small cut outs on the side, and a low v-neck, which was paired with beautiful silver jewelry.

J -"You ready babe?"

L -"Almost, just one second"

J -"You're so beautiful"

L -"Oh- thanks!"

Jacob got close and wrapped his arms around my waist.

L -"Is something wrong?"

J -"Not at all"

He stared at me like he was reading my thoughts, what's up with him? He gave me a small peck on the fore-head, and left the room.

J -"Love you"

L -"I- Love you too..."
