Chapter 7 Step One Done

Yozora POV

'' I'm going to teach you guys the spell ice make shield " Ur said giving no time for questions before she started taking again '' To successfully preform this spell you have to concentrate on the world around you, That does not include me and your pers you have to zone us out, Concentrate like your the only human left in the world ok  ".

We all nodded in response '' Alright I'll show you what you are trying to make "  '' Ice make shield " Ur shouted as a giant wall of ice formed in front of her, It really did look like a shield.

'' Now it's your turn " Ur said to us sending us off to try on our own. I  concentrated closing my eyes  '' Nothing is happening, Why don't I feel any different? ". I slowly opened my eyes back up and turned my head to look at Gray and Lyon. Lyon wasn't able to create the shield but he was able to create some ice well Gray on the other hand was like me he had nothing but he still had his eyes closed. '' If Gray is still working at it then I have to keep trying to " I thought. I moved my focus back to in front of me I closed my eyes and started to concentrate. I could feel the snow beneath my bare feet it was wet and squishy. My skin was starting  to tingle from the new sense of cold. It wasn't like a normal type of cold it was more like a moist cold. The air was thick with moisture it was so thick I could cut with a butter knife. Well maybe not but that's what it feels like anyways.

I have to get out some kind of ice if I can't do this how I'm I going to learn more powerful spells to protect Natsu if I can't even learn such a basic one. Ok Yozora concentrate on the image of ice forming out of your body. I stood there for a few minutes detailing and refining the image. I think I'm ready my eyes snapped open '' Ice make shield " I shouted gaining everyone's attention. I did it there in front if me was a thin wall of ice, Yes it's extremely fragile but I still made a wall of ice. '' It seams that Yozora was able to get out a wall of ice on her first go, Lyon, Gray you guys are going to have to try harder, She just got her and she's already starting to surpass you " Ur stated. Everyone but Ur was breathing Heavily and trying to catch there breathe. '' It looks like you guys have had enough for today come on let's start heading home " Ur said as she started walking away from us towards the direction of her house.

'' Wait for us " I shouted running after her '' Gray, Lyon you guys coming? " I asked turning my head back to there stunned faces they were in a daze that they snapped out of once they heard there names and ran after me.
