Chapter 2 My Path Starts Now

Timeskip

Yozora POV

I can smell the fact scent of snow in the air, '' I'm getting close " I thought as I continued running my bare feet hitting the cold ground. I was passing trees but I didn't really take that into notice at all everything thing around me was a blur expect right in front of me my goal.

My mind drifted off to the topic of Natsu I wonder how he's doing after I left I hopes ok. '' Smoke " thats what brought me back into reality my eyes followed it does it lead right into a chimney which means I reached the village were my hopefully new teacher is. Confused, Let me explain.

Flashback

I walked into a store to pick up some supplies my money was running out '' I have use it sparling from now on " '' Hey did you hear that Ur is in the next town over " '' really isn't she a powerful ice mage " a man responded to He's friend. I stopped moving being quite to verify what I heard was correct '' Yeah she is " the man's friend responded '' Um excuse me sir I'm sorry for listening in on your conversation but do you happen to know the directions to the next town over and were I might find Ur? " I questioned. '' Yeah I do " the man responded '' I can draw you a map if you want " '' Thank you that would be very helpful " I told him. '' Alright just give me a second " I saw the man clearing off the table and bringing out a pencil and a piece of paper. He put the paper on the table and started to draw '' Ok so you see that giant tree right here " he asked me pointing to the middle of the map '' Yeah " '' Well when you see a giant tree you know your in the village when you get there travel to the mountains she lives somewhere up there, that's about all I can tell you " he told me '' Thank you that's actually more information then I thought I would get " I said informing him of my thoughts. He nodded rolling up the map and handed it to me, I gently toke it from his hands bowing to show him I am entirely grateful for his kindness.

I walked out of the building looking for a place to stay the night off in distance there's a wood building with a sign reading Ice ❄ inn and eatery. I sprinted off towards the inn in hopes that they still had a room I could sleep in. In no time a reached the door of the inn open the door I was greeted with a feeling of warmth I stepped in looking around in the left corner of the room was a slightly worn pair of stairs to the right was a blazing fire place in front of was a worn out yellow rug with two blue arm chairs the floor was made out of wood it felt smooth against my ruff feet. I yawned tierd '' who's there " a ruff but quiet voice asked I heard the creaking of the stairs I looked over and there was an elderly women coming down '' Oh I'm Yozora and I was wondering if I could have a room here for the night "

You could here the slight worry in my voice as I spoke. '' Well aren't you a lucky one, you just got the last room " I breathed out a sigh of relief at the women's words. '' That was a close call " I thought '' I don't have any money left but I could work for you to pay for it " the look that she gave me was like she was looking into the depths of my soul. '' That's alright dear it's on me " she said after looking at me for a while '' You don't have to " I told her trying to insist that I help her '' Well I want to, now here are the keys to the room its upstairs on the left at the end of the hall " I nodded gently but firmly taking the keys from her hands. '' Well goodnight " I told her as I walked up the creaking stair case. The hallway walls were a pale green there were also photos of what looked to be her family lineing the hallway. I stopped and put the keys in the keyhole of the dark wood door click I turned the door handle and sure enough it worked. I flopped on the bed and drifted off to sleep.

I looked to my right and saw a giant tree '' That must be the one the guy told me about yesterday " this is the village that my teachers in, That is only if they decide to teach me, I mean I can understand why they wouldn't teach me after all I'm weak and who wants to have a weak student? Snap out of it Yozora you may be weak but you have to get strong enough to protect natsu, There's no turning back now I thought as I started walking towards a the village. The wind brezed threw my hair getting it in my face, The snow was cold I thought walking on hearing the crunching of the snow when my bare feet stepped on it. Everything looked so pure, untouched it looked so calm this is how felt when I was in nature. The feeling of something hard snapped me out of my thoughts I looked down '' Stone? " I questioned looking around I realized that I was in the middle of the town '' Why don't you talk " I looked towards the direction of the voice and saw a kid with white hair talking to kid with black hair. I walked over '' Hi do you guys know we're I can find a person that go's by the name Ur " I asked with hope laced into my voice. The boy with black hair gave me a weird look '' Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself my names Yozora and I'm looking for a person named Ur so I can ask her if she'll teach me ice magic " I told them. '' My names Lyon and the kid beside me is Gray " the boy now known as Lyon told me. '' Come on guys time to head out " a women said heading this way, She stopped now just noticing me '' Oh hello there who might you be " the women asked '' Hi I'm Yozora and I'm looking for someone that goes by the name Ur do you know we're they are ".

Ur POV

I observed the girl taking in her aprenices she had salmon pink hair that went just passed her shoulders she had green eyes she had bandages wrapped around her torso with a black looking vest on top with a pair of white and black jogging pants? '' Why are you looking for her " I questioned '' Well I was hoping I could get her to teach me ice magic ".

The girl said as she looked up at me and smiled, she looks very strong and by the looks of it potential. '' Well what if I told you your looking at her " I responded.

Yozora POV

'' Well what if I told you your looking at her " The women said. I jumped up and down yelling '' yes I finally found her " I was relieved. Wow am I imagining things our did I finally find her I stopped jumping and yelling and pinched my right arm '' Oh that hurt " I thought. well I felt that I'm definitely not dreaming. I turned back to face Ur again '' I know I'm not very strong but will you still teach me ice magic " I asked Ur. She seemed like she was really thinking about the desicion.

Gray POV

'' What does she mean she's not strong you can visibly see her muscles " I wondered. I pondered the question but ultimately I came up with nothing. I'll have get answers if she comes with us then.

Ur POV

'' You know this isn't going to be easy " I told her but she only nodded and replied that she expected it to be hard.

'' Well if that's the case your in " I told her an excited expression washed over her face I'm glad that she's happy but if she wants to get stronger she'll have to work for it. '' Alright then Gray, Lyon, Yozora is now one of my students so treat her with respect got it". Nodding there head was the only sign I got that they heard me. '' Well come on let's head out ".

Yozora POV

I followed after Gray, Lyon and Ur I'm now part if the group. My own path starts now.
