A Sudden Spark....

[Something just doesn't add up.] Thought Detective Cross as she pulled up near a fire truck on her motorcycle, [Who would be out this late just to set fire to a park?]

Things didn't make sense to her at all, [Where were the so-called Heroes of New York City when this happened? I swear I'll get to the bottom of this mystery if it's the last thing I do.]

Inside the lair, Master Splinter was enjoying a nice relaxing cup of tea. The atmosphere was nice and calm… until the turtles came running into the lair with strange girls, one of which was very attached to Mikey.

"Master Splinter, I can explain." said Leo as he laid Vicky down on the couch.

She coughed again letting out another puff of dense black smoke. Liz jumped out of Raph's arms and rushed over to Vicky's side.

"Just hang in there Vicky." Liz said softly then turned to face Gwen who had just gotten out of Donnie's grasp, "Gwen, we need a flame starter potion. Can you make one?"

"I-I dunno, I mean maybe I could whip one up with the ingredients here." said a very worried Gwen, "Umm, Mr. Turtle sir… can you please show me where your kitchen area is?"

"It's right over here." Donnie said as he guided Gwen over to their humble little kitchen, "Oh and my name is Donnie by the way."

"My name is Gwen." She said as she reached into her pant pocket and pulled out a pair of round rimmed glasses and put them on, "It's nice to meet you Donnie."

"Nice to meet you too Gwen." He said blushing slightly.

"Gwen the potion!" Liz shouted and snapped Gwen back to her senses.

Gwen rushed into the kitchen and hurriedly went through the cabinets and drawers looking for any spices that she could possibly use in the potion. She quickly grabbed all the spices that she could use, got a small pot, and then headed towards the coffee table in the living area.

"Ok does anybody have any hot sauce?" Gwen said as she started to grind the spices with a mortar and grinder that she just conjured up.

"Sure." Donnie, who was closer to the fridge, opened it and got the hot sauce and handed it to Gwen, "Here you go."

Gwen quickly undid the bottle cap and dumped the bottle of hot sauce into the pot along with the spices she was grinding. She then held her hands over the pot and started chanting in an ancient language. That's when the stuff in the pot started to bubble. She chanted for about half a minute then waved her hand in the air and a wood ladle appeared out of thin air. She dipped the ladle into the bubbling concoction; brought it to Vicky's mouth and she started to drink it.

Donnie watched her work to help her sister out much like he would do for his brothers if they needed his help. In a way he found her a bit fascinating.

"Are you feeling better Vicky?" asked Liz as she checked her bracelet which was now a deep red instead of a brownish black.

"I feel… like I'm going to kill a little wind witch!!!" Vicky shouted angrily as she bolted over the couch and chased after Ana who started running all over the lair.

Donnie walked over to Raph amongst all the chaos and asked, "Umm, should we do something?"

"Nah," Raph said casually, "Let them hash it out."

Vicky was almost catching up to Ana but then she flew up to the pipes that were hanging up high.

"CHEATER!!" shouted Vicky as she tried to catch her breath.

"Listen Vicky none of this would have happened if you'd have kept that temper of yours under control." said Ana.

"Don't you chastise me about control when you can barely control your own powers as it is." growled Vicky.

"You swore you'd never speak of it." said a teary eyed Ana.

"Yea well all bets go out the window the moment you tried to drown me." Vicky said.

She turned around quickly and was getting ready to storm off when she collided straight into Raph.

"Hey watch it!" she started to say but then noticed who it was then said, "Oh, it's you."

"Now is that anyway to thank the turtle that just saved your witchy butt." Raph said gruffly.

She looked down trying to avoid his gaze and said, "Well… thanks for saving my life and I'm sorry for picking a fight with you."

He chuckled a bit then said, "It's cool. What's your name?"

"M-my name is Vicky." She said blushing slightly.

"Name's Raph." He said with a slight smile as he extended his hand to her, "Nice to meet you Vicky."

Vicky took his hand and a slight spark ran between them making them let go of each other's hands quickly.

"What the Shell was that?!" Raph exclaimed as he looked at his hand.

Vicky looked at her hand too wondering the same thing when all of a sudden the lair alarms went off. Donnie rushed over to where the computers were and checked the surveillance cameras.

"Umm, guys we've got a problem." Donnie said with a hint of worry in his voice.

"Is it the foot clan?" asked Leo.

                                "The kraang?" asked Mikey.

                                "No, it's… April." Donnie said.
