The sweet smell of the drink fills my nose as I kiss Arakan's soft lips. My whole body pulsates and I lean further into him and kiss him deeply. I fell something primal stirring within me. My hands travel his chest and feel his muscles. He lets out a deep moan as his kiss intensifies. I trip slightly, and the kiss breaks.
It's then that Arakan steps back. "He breaths deeply and covers his face with his hand. I move closer to him but he steps back.
"I think we have had too much drink, I will get Tara to take you back to the tent. I need a bath." Arakan says as he scans the crowd.
"I feel fine," I say breathlessly, as I put my hands on his chest and look up into his eyes. He puts his hands over mine, but with almost pained look in his eyes, he says "Tara, can you make sure she makes it back to the tent and rests".
He gives my hand to Tara, who I didn't even notice was standing behind me. She smiles at me and links her arm with mine.
"But," I start.
"The drink can play with your emotions, even if you are use to it." Tara says, as she helps me walk. I look back, but Arakan is already gone. I stumble several times on the way to the large yurt.
"Here, drink this," Tara says as she hands me a glass of water as I sit down on my bed.
I drink it and start to cry. Tara sits next to me and I lean my head on her.
"Does he hate me now," I cry, my emotions start to change rapidly.
Tara pats my head gently and laughs softly.
"Do you know how hard it was for him to walk away tonight. He must have the strength of ten men to walk away from the woman he loves when she is begging to share his bed." Tara explains.
"I wasn't..." I start to argue that I wouldn't have slept with him, but as I think back, my body was more than ready to feel more of Arakan.
Tara laughs again when she sees the realization fill my eyes. "Arakan is a good man, he wouldn't take advantage of you".
I sigh heavily and finish the water.
"Try and sleep, everything will be clearer in the morning," Tara says, as she helps me lean back into my bed." Although your head may not feel great," she adds with a wry smile.
I watch Tara sit on the other bed next to me.
"Thank you," I whisper as my eyes close.
