Luna pulled the knife from the chest, ready to strike once again, but then Blake swiftly pulled Archer to the back, using all the strength he had left.
"Stop!" Blake shouted, attempting to buy a few precious minutes to drag Archer away from Luna.
"What? Trying to bargain?" Luna asked, her face devoid of emotion.
"Please Luna, this not the way to solve this," Blake took a breath, still holding Archer tight in his hands, "He is not related to us, so it would be better for you and I to settle this between us," he said, anxious but his mind working hard thinking on the best way to get away.
Luna's eyes narrowed, her grip on the knife tightening. "Settle it between us?" she scoffed. "You think I'll just let you go after what you've done?"
Blake's mind raced, "Luna, please," he pleaded, his voice filled with a mix of fear and desperation. "We can find a different way to resolve this. Violence won't solve anything."
