Why I hate Middle Class Women

"I endured this pain day after day, drowned in the ocean of tears that weren't allowed to leave my eyes. I held on for long, but they didn't love to see that, they stepped upon my head, content to watch me drown in the emotional mess they caused." Seven relationships and all were doomed from the start. The same issues and the same outcome, all the girls he loved left him, cheated on him, stabbed him in the back. Was he hexed? Was he really the problem? Why did they never last? Chang Wu didn't know. All he knew was that, they were breaking his heart to smaller pieces every time they walked out of his life because he couldn't 'afford' them. He'd tried everything to the extent everyone called him a simp for women who wouldn't even do half of what he'd done for them. 'Why were all middle class women the same?' Why hadn't he met one that wouldn't push the burden of financial responsibilities on his shoulders. The more he thought of it, the more he bore hate, until he decided to give up on them, and aim for something higher.  Dating a rich woman was his next step. As impossible as it sounded and difficult to achieve, he thought the woman on the magazine cover that caught his attention would actually love him, not because of money because she already had that. There were problems, he had to live falsely to catch her eye and watch out for potential threats to avoid the truth from getting exposed, but how long would he pretend to be the opposite of what he truly was? How long would he lie? How long would he continue to live in fear? And most importantly, how would he put an end to the facade without getting his dream woman hurt?

Love Rivalry III

Previously: "I want an answer, Xin! Please... what I really want is a positive answer. Give me that!!!"

"I can't. I can't love you."

Hana sucked her lips in, blinking a few times to keep back the tears that were threatening to spill. His words were a cut to her core, and she hated herself for trying too hard instead of moving on when she could have.

Xin could tell her sadness was welling up, but there was nothing he could do. He couldn't force feelings. He warned her a year ago, but she was making it look like it was solely his fault. Being cold to her was all he could do to prevent what was presently happening, but things ended up in a way he dreaded.

A tear rolled onto her cheek, and she quickly wiped it away. She could feel her fragile heart cracking like glass as she drowned in waves of helplessness. "I feel so stupid. A whole year... I gave you my body…"

"Please, Hana… Don't say it like that. We both agreed to an only sex relationship."

"But I ended up falling in love with you, and shockingly, despite everything we've had, you can't even show me an atom of love."

"I am not a man of love."

"I can't believe I've been walking on a tightrope of hope for so long, but I still couldn't reach you" Her head was still heavy with thoughts of him, and the pain in her chest was too much to endure anymore because she knew the truth. Her love was worthless, and Xin would never have the same feelings for her. Not in a million years.

"Am I unattractive to you? Is there something about me you don't like? I can change myself for you... just give me a chance" Her bottom lips quivered as she burst into tears. The sad state of her mind was like a flowing river, cold and unending, reaching deep into her already darkened thoughts.

"You're beautiful… but I just don't feel the same way. I'm sorry." Xin felt really bad. His eyes were the only way he could show it because he wasn't the best at wordings.

"It doesn't seem like you care" She picked up her bag and headed for the door.

"Hana, it's too late to go out!" he followed her, trying to get her to stop.

"I'll be able to order a ride home. Please don't follow me." She disappeared into the dark without looking back, and Xin slowed down before he ran a hand through his hair.

"Women are complicated. She's making me feel like I don't have a heart. Well, it's been broken beyond repairs and I can't use it anymore."

He went back to his living room and plopped himself on the couch. He typed in a message for hana, and he hoped she'd read it.

"I'm sorry. I hope you get home safe. Maybe we can talk things out properly some other time…"

He dialed Wu's number next, and he answered.

"What's up?"

"A lot happened today. I had to deal with two different women."

"Two? You're having two sex partners now?"

"Nope, it's still Hana."

"So what happened?"

"I'll start with the blasian woman that showed up at the bar. She had a notebook with her and it had your name in it?"

"A fan?"

"Or a hater. She said she came to investigate, and she almost called the cops on me."

"What the fuck!? Why?"

"It's pretty funny. I actually couldn't tell it was a woman even when I touched that flat board of hers."

"Dayum!"

"Yeah, but it turned out to be some insane chick. I thought she was one of 'them' at first, so I quickly searched her in case she was armed. She accused me of sexual assault...so I might see the cops in front of the bar tomorrow. Funny enough, I have her phone with me."

"She gave it to you?"

"Nah. I took it from her and she willingly left this expensive device with me." He turned on the phone for the first time, and he saw Lijuan as her lock screen.

"Well, it seems like she's a fan of your girlfriend."

"Wait... I think I might know her. Can you describe her more?"

"I'm not so sure... but she wears glasses."

"I think it might be her assistant. I think she wants to ask around about me. Damn"

"Don't worry. You're not really known by the drunks there. Zhelin is gone. Bao and Jie definitely won't rat. I'll tell them not to."

"Well, that's settled. Just look out for her. She seems to be a major threat."

"Don't worry about it."

"So what about peaches?"

"Oh, Hana fell In love with me."

"I'm not surprised. And It won't be a shocker if you turned her down."

"My heart doesn't work. It's not my fault."

"You've never fallen in love before?"

"I can't catch feels for anyone, no matter how hard I try. All I want is a good sex life."

"You're still fixed to that belief?"

"I can't change it. I'll find a new sex partner if I have to and I'll explain it more than a million times, I don't want a girlfriend."

"I wish you luck brother."

"I wish you happiness. I'll talk to you later, good night." Xin hung up then put a cigarette in his mouth before lighting it "Love and women. Yuck."
