"I had a fantastic time with you guys. The food was delicious. Everyone in the neighborhood would be able to smell this mouth-watering scent. Thank you for the meal and for having me."

Such a praiser, thought Eryx

"No worries. I'm just glad you enjoyed it"

I smiled. Then, I quickly noticed the face of Eryx's. He looked... flushed. Hmm, I wonder why...?

And right at that moment, Eryx's phone rang. I'm guessing it's his best friend, Felix. When Felix and Eryx are spending time, there's no way I could get in their way and disturb them. They'd chat HOURS about books and video games. I don't know... but I don't like the way they hang out---- WHO AM I TO JUDGE?? 

Suddenly, I remembered my given assignment. It is said that his mom is the best worker in the opposition team, but I don't think she would look like an actual housewife with no damage on her hands or face...

The call ended, and just as I was going to say "goodbye", my mouth spoke before my brain could think. 

"Eryx, would you like to take a walk right now? It is a beautiful night after all. I also have a special place I'd like to show you and I'm pretty much sure you'd love it." 

Why did I say this? He's surely annoyed at me. Unexpectedly, his mom made him come with me saying, he needed fresh air and didn't appreciate him staying in front of the screen all day. As a result, he came along with me. This is awkward... That's your rival you're walking with. I'm certain he's thinking the same. We didn't talk through the way. He just followed me. It's adorable he kept avoiding eye contact.

"Where's this?" He finally spoke.

"It's a place that I admire. It's peaceful, isn't it? Look, you can see the stars and the moon reflecting in a clear lake."

"I believe so. Wow. This is breathtaking. I didn't know this kind of place existed in such an area"

"My parents and I used to come often to this location in the past."

"What happened?"

"Oh, it's nothing."

Welp, this is getting anxious...plus, with the thought that I had to end his life.

"Enough with me. What about your parents?"

"My parents? what about them?"

"I mean, ... well,-, It's casual talks. I'm trying to bond with you-"

"bond with me? uh,-" His face turned slightly red and finally said:

"Nothing is interesting"

"I mean, there has to be something. Like,... your dad. What does he do?"

Out of the blue, he laughed softly and then said:

"dad? What do you mean, "dad". I got no dad"

wait what!!?? 

"I have two moms. that's what it is."

"Oh..". Now I understand. His other mom MUST be the agent. "It's pretty sweet, ngl"

"you think so?"

I nodded. And there was silence. It was broken once again by a weird quest Eryx wanted to do.

"Wanna go on a night swim?"

"Sure- WAIT WHAT!? A NIGHT SWIM?? YOU'RE GOING TO FREEZE TO DEAD!"

"Oh SUREE, You're just AFRAID IMMA BE BETTER AT SWIMMING THEN YOU"

He took off his shirt and jumped into the water. I have to be truthful, he has a really beautiful body...- Ayden, stop with whatever you're thinking.!

"GAME'S ON, NERD!"
