My name is Alann, and I am 20 years old. Five years ago, a groundbreaking virtual game was invented, captivating 30% of the world's population. I am one of those 2 billion people playing the game.

This game stands out from other MMORPGs due to its difficulty and originality. Real effort is required to progress. Equipment is crafted by real players, and resources are manually gathered by them. The game incorporates real-world concepts, such as science and physics, alongside elements of magic. Every decision made by players changes the game world. Given the complexity of maintaining different classes, players focus on upgrading their desired roles, often using real money to acquire necessary materials or equipements.

Despite numerous attempts at imitation, this game remains unmatched.

My in-game character may not be the most powerful, but I am invaluable to other players. I am a helper, assisting adventurers who purchase my services. This has earned me a significant income, which I have used in the real world.

In the game, there are two types of players: helpers and adventurers. Helpers supports the adventurers by offering their skills or services. While the adventurers conquer dungeons and kills mobs. 

Helpers come in various forms, such as carriers and informants, each with unique skills. This diversity has made many players wealthy.

I specialize in transportation. In the game, players can only travel by foot, carts, or mounts, which is inconvenient for adventurers undertaking distant missions. My magic, space-time teleportation, allows me to teleport to any place I have visited. I spent six months traveling across the game's continent to unlock this ability.

My services are particularly sought after by large guilds needing to transport members to different locations to subjugate monster bosses. I teleport each member of the guilds to the location of the monster.

In addition to transportation, my teleportation magic is useful in combat. I use my combat skills when traveling through dangerous areas, though earning money by killing mobs is less profitable than selling my services, and solo play is challenging.

**Present Day**

The top guild on the continent has requested my services for a mission. They plan to subjugate a level 100 fire dragon atop a volcano in another region of the map.

Only ten people can challenge the dragon, so the guild hired two helpers. The battle was intense, but thanks to our skills, we defeated the dragon.

The rewards were distributed randomly among the participants. According to our contract, if a helper receives an SS rank item, it must be shown to the players, who can exchange it for an S rank item.

Our group received a total of 15 items. I got one SS rank and one S rank item. As agreed, the SS rank item was taken, and the S rank item was given to me.

I wasn't particularly disappointed, as the SS rank item was powerful but only usable by the warrior class, which I am not.

Now, I possess two S rank items, as does the other helper. The remaining items include ten SS rank and one S rank.

Before examining the item descriptions, we decided to leave the battle area and to rest at an inn.

I opened a teleportation gate, and everyone exited one by one. I was the last to leave.

As I was about to cross, an error occurred.
