Pure bliss

Kaito's eyes snapped open at 6:30 AM, blinded by the radiant sunlight streaming through his window. He sat up with a stretch, his pure black eyes squinting against the brightness. He tossed off the black and red blankets, revealing his sleek, long hair, which he raked through with a lazy hand. The savory aroma of pork wafted through the air, making his stomach growl with anticipation. "Mom's cooking breakfast!" he thought, his nose twitching with excitement.

Without hesitation, Kaito burst out of his room, slamming the door open with a bang. He zoomed down the hallway, accidentally bumping into his little brother, who yelped in surprise. "First come, first served!" Kaito called out, racing down the stairs in a blur. In a mere 40 seconds, he had gone from his room to the dinner table, his eyes fixed on the empty plate in front of him.

"Mom, can I eat now, please?" he asked, his voice tinged with impatience.

"So, you're going to miss me, Kaito, after all, today is the first S-ranked mission I'm going to be in. Who knows, maybe after this, I will be able to lead this clan and maybe become Hokage," Akira said with all the arrogance in the world.

"Shut up, just you watch, I'm going to be better than you," Kaito said with confidence.

"Just wait a bit, dear," his mother called out from the kitchen, her voice warm and soothing. "Go get ready while I finish cooking. It'll be ready by the time you're done. And your brother will be walking you to the Academy; it's on his way to the Hokage office."

Kaito nodded reluctantly, his face falling. "Okay, Mom," he said, trudging off to the shower, his stomach growling in protest.

As he stepped out of the shower, he began brushing his teeth, his mind racing with excitement and nerves. He couldn't be late on his first day at the academy, not when he wanted to continue his father's legacy. Lowd Uchiha, his father, had been top of his class, a Hokage candidate, and a member of the Anbu with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan. Rumors whispered that he had even possessed the legendary Mangekyo Sharingan, though this was never confirmed. Kaito hoped to surpass his father's achievements and create a legacy of his own, especially since his father's Chakra Illness had forced him into retirement, limiting his physical abilities and control.

As he walked to the academy with Akira, Kaito thought, "Why did Mom make me, the great Uchiha Kaito, walk to the academy with this loser?" He smirked, feeling confident and superior.

Akira noticed his expression and asked, "What's with the smirk, little brother?"

Kaito replied, "Don't worry about it, elder brother. Just wait a few years, and I'll surpass you."

Akira raised an eyebrow, a teasing tone creeping into his voice. "Oh, you think you can do that, huh?"

Kaito's smirk faltered for a moment before he regained his composure. "Don't take that tone with me, I will surpass you."

Akira chuckled, his smile warm and encouraging. "Well, good luck with that, little brother. I wish you nothing but the best."

Kaito's face reddened with anger, his annoyance evident. "Hey, don't say it like that! It's annoying me."

Akira held up his hands in a defensive gesture. "Whoa, sorry, little brother. I'm just trying to support you and your life goals."

Kaito grunted, continuing to walk with a scowl on his face. "Anyway, we're here. Do well, okay?"

"Yeah, okay, brother," Kaito replied, before taking off in a sprint. "Hey, wait up!" Akira called out, but Kaito was already gone.

Akira sighed, shaking his head. "Well, that's my little brother for you." He watched Kaito disappear into the academy, a mix of amusement and concern on his face.

In class, Iruka Sensei introduced himself and asked the students to introduce themselves and share their goals for becoming a ninja. When it was Kaito's turn, he stood up with confidence. "Hello, fellow future ninjas of Konaha village. My name is Kaito Uchiha, and I will become the head of the Uchiha Clan and the Hokage."

Iruka Sensei's eyebrows rose slightly. "That's quite an ambitious goal, Kaito. And isn't your brother Akira Uchiha?"

Kaito's expression turned sour, and he muttered under his breath, "Yes, he is."

Iruka Sensei's gaze lingered on Kaito for a moment before moving on to the next student. "I hope you can live up to those expectations, Kaito. It won't be easy, but I'm sure you'll work hard to achieve your dreams."

During lunchtime, Kaito was swarmed by a group of girls, all wanting to be his friend and maybe more. None of these girls interested him, as he already had someone in mind - Naomi Uchiha, who had short, spiky black hair and piercing red eyes, characteristic of the Uchiha clan. She was athletic and toned, with a lean build and a confident stride. She often wore her hair in a wavy style and was fierce, determined, loyal, competitive, and rebellious. Kaito liked her because she understood him and his problems.

After politely declining the girls' advances, one girl, Emiko, was relentless in making a friendship with Kaito. Emiko had long, curly brown hair and piercing green eyes. She was slender, with small curves and athletic, with a quiet strength and grace. She wore her hair in a ponytail and was kind, compassionate, and gentle. Kaito tried to let her down politely, but she wouldn't leave him alone.

As the day went on, Kaito found himself growing more and more frustrated with Emiko's persistence. He didn't want to be rude, but he didn't want to lead her on either. He just wanted to focus on his training and his goals, without any distractions.

Little did Kaito know, Naomi was watching him from afar, a small smile on her face. She knew he was interested in her, and she was interested in him too. But she wasn't going to make it easy for him. She was going to make him work for it.

As the sun began to set, Kaito made his way back home, exhausted but determined. He was going to become the greatest ninja the world had ever seen, and no one was going to get in his way. Not even Emiko, who was still clinging to his arm, chatting away about her favorite foods and hobbies.

Kaito sighed inwardly, wondering how he was going to get rid of her. But for now, he just smiled and nodded, pretending to listen. After all, he didn't want to be rude. But he was already planning his escape, his mind racing with ways to get away from Emiko and back to his training.

As he walked, Kaito noticed a figure watching him from the shadows. It was Naomi, her eyes gleaming with amusement. Kaito's heart skipped a beat as he realized she had been watching him all day. He felt a surge of excitement and nervousness, knowing that she was still interested in him.

But he didn't have time to think about that now. He had to focus on his training, and his goals. He had to become the greatest ninja the world had ever seen. And no one was going to get in his way. Not even Naomi.
