Secret

Nancy and her friends just arrived back at Jada's house. Tara had decided to take her girls out on a shopping spree and they got back with bags in their hands and smile on their faces.

"I think I should get my heart broken more, so Tara can do more shopping for us", Jada said and her friends chuckled.

They put down the shopping bags on the bed.

Tara fell on the bed while Jada impatiently pulled out the shirts she had gotten herself.

Nancy sat on the floor while smiling up at her friends, after a few seconds she lay down on her back.

"That girl is just a b***ch… I mean I should have known from the shape of her head, why is she acting like she likes girls when she f***ing like dudes", Tara said.

Jada scoffs. "She probably is bisexual".

"Hey hey don't be supporting her right now, bisexual or not… no one should cheat on such an angel like you", Nancy added sharply.

Jada looked down at her and nodded, "yes yes agreed", she answered.

"I love that pink shirt you got for yourself Nancy, I think I might steal it from you…", Tara said.

Nancy sat up and grabbed the bag before Tara would.

"Don't you dare", Nancy said, giggling.

"Nooo give me", Tara said laughing while trying to stretch her arms to grab the bag from Nancy but the girl moved back.

They all laughed as Tara wouldn't stop stretching her hand towards Nancy even though it wouldn't reach her.

Jada shook her head and laughed along.

"You two are such crazy girls… if Tara doesn't want the shorts she got, I should take it then while she fights for Nancy's pink". Jada said while looking into Tara's bag.

Tara immediately pulled her shopping bag away from Jada on hearing this.

The girls laughed out again.

Suddenly a message in Nancy's phone.

"Ouuu who is texting our girl? Who is it?", Tara asked.

Nancy smirked, "Probably just spam messages", she answered and picked up her phone.

The smile on her face gradually faded as soon as she saw Nolan's message, she stared at the "hey" he had sent for a short while.

"Is it a d**k picture being spammed to you", Tara said, chuckling out loud. "I swear some boys are so weird, I get random weird pics in my DMS all the damn time… like wtf can't you all have some dignity".

"You should have posted it and tagged their name on it, to embarrass them", Jada advised.

They both laughed out except for Nancy who didn't know what to do with his text, not with Tara being there. So she decided to ignore it and turned down her phone.

"It's just some account telling me to buy their product, not important", Nancy lied.

"I get a random text saying they want to use me as a model for their product, people on Instagram are such a joke", Jada added.

"Other apps are no better, people are just weird these days", Tara added.

Nancy heard another beep from her phone, she took a glance at it and ignored it again.

After a short while, another text got in again.

"Just pass the phone to me, let me play with those accounts wanting to sell products to you, it is all scam anyways", Tara requested while looking at Nancy.

Her heart skipped, what would be Tara's first thought when she saw her text with Nolan, and realized she had been lying to her and keeping it a secret.

She chuckled nervously and grabbed her phone while standing up.

"I would just ignore it or delete it… let us not bother the poor people", Nancy answered, as she walked towards the bathroom, "I would use the bathroom if it smell… ignore it", she added.

"IT BETTER NOT SMELL", Tara exclaimed while Jada laughed.

Nancy got to the bathroom, shut the door, and sat in the water closet.

"Hey"

"Nancy? Are you sleeping!"

"Yooo!".

Nancy read his message and typed it back to him.

"Hey.. I can't talk right now, is everything okay? Are you good?". She replied and hit the sent button.

Almost immediately he responded.

"Yes I am good… just checking in on you, are you home?".

Nancy read his message and smiled, "What does he mean am I home, is he trying to come see me or something", she blushed and responded.

"Hmm no, I am still at Jada's place with Tara, we are trying to be here for her after what happened with Beth, can I text you later?".

After a short while, his message got in.

"Yes, of course, take your time.. glad you are good and that you are being a good friend".

Nancy read his message, chuckled softly, and hearted his message, she got out of her Instagram and exhaled deeply.

Still sitting in the water closet, the thought of him walking into her rescue returned to her head, Nancy smiled and held her phone tight while giggling to herself.

"Why is he checking up on me though… does he? Maybe he… like me back?", she whispered and chuckled again. "No no… he has many girls I should not lead myself on", she added and cleared her throat.

"On the other hand… it has been so long since I saw him hang around girls… is he trying to impress me?", Nancy asked herself, then immediately shook her head, "Nope I am not doing this… I am not getting ahead of myself, it is normal to check up on me", she added.

She suddenly chuckled again.

After a short while, she washed her hands and came out.

"That was fast, and you are so lucky it didn't smell. I would have beat that a** up", Tara said while watching a video on Twitter.

"Yeah yeah", Nancy said while returning to her seat.

"See.. this video has been trending", Tara said while moving close to Jada.

"What video?", Nancy asked as she also moved closer to them to take a look.

"Two friends fighting… the one in blue found out her friend who is a guy has been f***ing her sister behind her back", Tara explained.

Like a thud in her heart, Nancy was shocked, she looked up at Jada but the girl was not aware.

"Why is this video showing up right now", Nancy thought while pretending to to focus on the video.

"I mean it doesn't matter, right? I mean they are all adult", Nancy said.

Tara and Jada shifted their gaze to Nancy.

Her eyes begged Tara to agree with her.

Jada finally realized what had happened, she turned her eyes to Tara and nodded.

"I mean it should not have caused a fight..", Jada added.

Tara laughed and lay back down, "I mean yeah but I understood the girl, I would not want my friend messing around with my sibling either, who would like such things, it is weird, super weird", she said.

Jada looked at Nancy who kept his gaze at Tara.

"Yeah… you are right", Nancy replied softly.

"Omg! I am doomed!", she yelled out in her mind.
