Countless students of the same age as me were gathered in front of the gate portal in the Barangay of Banga Caves, we were getting ready to take the exams of the Polaris Island Academy.

Polaris Island Academy is the top school for aspiring manifestors to study and grow in Asia and the Gate portal in front of us is the way to go to the academy.

The gate portals are made by enchant manifestors from the academy, it is a two-way portal to the island where the academy stands, the portal stays open for 24 hours every time it opens. It only opens twice every four years, ang una ay every 1st of March at ang huli ay every May 1st.

The first opening was to let graduates from the academy leave, But unfortunately, the barangay of Banga Caves never experienced the first opening for 500 years, the Barangay had never produced manifestors of high talent and that was able to pass the exams of the academy.

And today is May 1st of the year 3021, exactly 999 years ago, the mother planet Gaia also known as Earth ascended to being a grandmother planet and today is also the opening of the academy to take new apprentices.

Many parents was also present at the time, saying their possible last goodbyes to their children, eh Di sana all may nagbababye.

Yes, we were orphans, we were found by the priest and nuns of the orphanage outside the door. But unfortunately, when were 9 years old, they died protecting us after the Stained occult attacked, even though they tried their best, out of the many orphans, only cage and I survived.

And now, we're leaving the orphanage, ang Lugar kung saan kami lumaki ni Cage to grow and be able to learn more things. At para makaganti sa mga hayop na pumatay kila father Philip at kila sister.

Naghihintay lamang kami ni cage sa pagbubukas ng Gate portal nang may tatama sana saking bato, buti na lamang at mabilis akong nakailag.

"nice reflexes, wench! You and your buddy should stop wasting your time, tignan niyo nga sarili niyo, do you think the academy will accept you poor things?..." a girl wearing a luxurious dress sassily walked towards us. Nandito na naman po ang malditang palaka na'to.

" Hoy, Thea amoy bayag, manahimik ka diyan, sunugin kita diyan eh... " walang ganang sumbat naman ni Cage na humikab pa.

Halos umusok ilong ni Thea sa sinabi ni Cage, tinuro nito si cage, "You! You know how to answer now, huh? You poor uneducated bastard, it's pronounced as Thea Amui Viage (read as amuwi Viyaj)..." she shouted, her neck veins were near exploding too.

" well, amoy bayag, I don't really care, and also not because we're poor doesn't mean we are uneducated, look at you, you're rich and yet the way you act is so unrefined. " cage annoyingly said with matching eyebrow raise at smirk pa. Kahit siguro ako maiinis kung ganto kaaway ko, mukha palang kiinisan mo na.

Thea was the daughter of the Captain of the barangay, so nobody dared to disobey her, she bullied us since we were young, we could not study since we're orphans, and just learnt in the orphanage on our own, but I don't know why she kept coming at us for no reason. She went to the orphanage every time and poked fun at us for being poor, she did not stop up until now, and we let her do what she wants to us, pero ngayong aalis na kami, wala na kaming rason para itolerare ang mga kamalditahan niya.

"you---" sasagot pa sana si thea ngunit lumiwanag ang nanggaling sa Gate portal. Sa wakas, tumahimik din, I mean-the time has come.

"hmph, good luck, you're going to need it..." sabi ni thea na may hair flip dahil siguro napahiya, I mean-nakita ni thea na bumukas na ang portal ay umalis na ito at nagtungo sa kung saan dako ng impyerno man siya ng galing. Gilitan ko to ng leeg eh, kala mo naman kagandahan, lakas maka hair-flip amoy balakubak naman ang buhok, with matching snow pa nga.

" dapat sinabunutan mo na yun eh,remembrance ba, ganon! " suhol ni cage sakin. Ito talaga bad influence sakin, I'm so pure and innocent kaya! Pero nice suggestion, bakit di ko ginawa yun?

Di ko na lang siya pinansin at itinuon ang aking pansin sa harap kung saan, isa-isa nang pumapasok ang mga bata ng kaedad namin.

"mamaya na tayo pasok, kapag wala nang masyadong tao, I hate crowds talaga eh.." cage said and sat beside me. Same feels

Habang tumatagal ng tumatagal ay paunti na din ng paunti ang mga pumapasok sa portal, hanggang sa kami nalang dalawa ang natira sa Lugar, pati ang mga magulang ay nagsi-uwi nadin kung kaya't tumayo na kami para pumasok na sa portal.

Nang papunta na kami ay biglang may kung sinong nakacloak ang lumabas sa portal habang nakasuot ng cloak na itim, sumunod dito ang isang lalaking nakapulang magarbong damit.

"Stop! Get back here, give that back! stop that guy, he's a member of the stains!hey, wait, my shoes, out of all times really" the guy in red shouted. He was trying wear his shoes, I guess?

I felt numb at the moment, I just realised that my body moved on its own, my body's vibration rose and a green aura emanated from me.

When he saw me trying to use my manifestation to stop him, he drew his hands out of his cloak at lumiwanag iyon, biglang may mga rock spikes ang tumungo sa direction ko.

Ngunit, nagkanda pira-piraso ito nang dahil sa malalakas na wind currents na nangagaling sa'kin.

The Wind which was already rampaging suddenly blew like a storm, then with just one thought from me, chains made out of air, wrapped around the black cloaked guy's body.

"what the fu-" magmumura pa sana ito, kaso isa pang wind chain ang pumulupot sa bibig nito. He tried to use manifestation again but he could not break free from my chains.

Countless 1 foot long metal needles with glowing symbols on it also surrounded the guy like death's coffin, they just floated in the air there perfectly still, waiting to stab into the body of the guy.

Cage was about to control the needles to deal the finishing move but out of thin air, the guy in red also appeared in front us, he looked extremely calm raising one of his hand like he's trying to stop us, "stop! Don't kill him, he has something on his body extremely important to the academy" he said calmly. I came back to my senses and gave the stain bastard room to breathe but still not letting go of him from my chains.

Tinignan ko si Cage, ang masayahing expression niya kanina ay wala na, malamig na expression na lamang ang matatagpuan sa mukha nito, his eyes that was originally pale white were now glowing white but his pupils turned gold, it was giving off a Divine feeling. His hands also had a ring of symbols floating around them. His white aura created ripples of air near him.

I looked around, since the gate portal was in the middle of the barangay, everyone in the village was shocked by what we did, we can't blame them, it's the first time we've shown what we can do, we trained in secret and on our own, so nobody seen us use our manifestation abilities. And kids, the same age as us, barely knew how to use their manifestations.

Nagkatitigan kami ni cage, his pupil slowly lost its golden glow but the white glow was still there. The stain guy was still shouting and trying to break away from his situation.

Alam ko kung anong iniisip niya ngayon, dahil parehas kaming nag-iisip na patayin ang lalaking nasa harap namin ngayon, we saw how the stains killed the people who took care of us, simula noong araw na nangyari yun, pinangako namin na uubusin namin uri ng mga hayop na iyon. Kaso killjoy si kuyang nakadamit regla,hmph.

"can you give this guy to me? I promise he will get the punishment he deserves! I'll bring him back to the academy and the elders will decide what to do with him." the guy in red calmly said. I rolled my eyes at his statement, Punishment? Really?...

"is his punishment death?..." cage took the words out of my mouth, it's just that his voice carried much more coldness in it. The guy just smiled.

"No, but he would surely be facing imprisonment for life in the dungeon" he said.

Cage's face darkened, " no? Then doesn't that mean you lied? You said he was going to get the punishment he deserves, death is the only punishment they deserve, they kill innocent people for sport, shouldn't people like this be get rid of?" he said calmly but the anger was present in his voice.

The guy red suddenly became serious and got rid of his smile, suddenly the temperature of the surrounding became colder. " kid, I was not asking you for permission, I'm ordering you to give me this guy, so while I'm still being nice, just follow my orders..." he said.

I stepped forward, "what if we say no?" I said, slowly lifting my head and looked into his eyes while saying those words.

"then don't blame me for using force against you!" sabi nito, suddenly the space around him vibrated, his body gave off heat waves, making the formerly cold atmosphere a hot mess. the ground around where he was standing also melted into lava.

In contrary, cage and I just stood motionless there, looking at the guy, we saw how strong the guy who came and attacked the orphanage, that guy killed father Philip and the sisters in the process, we are not letting this demon stain go and kill other innocent people. This is what we promised.

Seeing us with no reaction at all, The guy in the red suddenly laughed, "you kids won't really back up huh? I like your guts, since you guys were able to catch a member of the stained occult, If you can survive this attack then I'll personally take you two as my apprentices" his aura grew stronger, his laugh billowed and a giant green ball of fire, the size of a 5 story building appeared above his index finger that was pointing upwards.

He winked at us, "I won't shoot yet I'll give you time to get ready!" he shouted. He laughed again. Was this some kind of joke to him?! He had a miniature sun on his finger right now!

We wasted no time and geared up, my aura also grew stronger as hurricanes over hurricanes formed a dome around me making a hard shell of wind.

I don't know why but I felt like this attack will kill us if it directly hit us, so I just put my all into making my defense reach it's peak. " Chime! Murphy! Spirit world open thee, summon" I chanted.

A falcon like creature with red and white plumage appeared along with a pretty lady dressed in leaf-pattern dress with a bluish hue, they were Murphy and Chime. Murphy was a fire variant whirlfalcon, while Chime was a sylph of the cold northern sylph tribe.

I ordered Murphy to cover me with his body, he has fire attributes in his body so he can protect me from the heat, while Chime made torrents of cold hurricanes, I felt weak and my vibration was slowly slowing down. Vibration is the energy we use for manifestation without it we wouldn't be able to manifest, while manifestation is the way we influence our surroundings.

I looked at the direction of Cage, his eyes was glowing white and gold like before, he summoned Atlas, his contract beast abyssal Turtle, he also enchanted the shell of atlas with inscriptions to make it harder, abyssal turtles were already known for their unbreakable defense but atlas was a king rank abyssal turtle, its defense is incomparable to normal ones, a cube of water also encompassed him while four white foxes with different colors of crystals on their foreheads, like white, gray, red and brown, they all emitted lights corresponding to the gems they have, suddenly a four layered shield appeared on top of the water cube that was almost 1 kilometre wide each. Cage also looked pale, he was also running low on vibration too.

"hey! Are you guys ready? Nah! I don't really care if you are, ready or not here I come!" The guy in red said, he was smiling, hayop na'to kala mo wala lang yung ginagawa niya.

The ball of fire despite it's big size flew at an unprecedented speed, shit, naramdaman ko ang napakainit na pwersang pilit na dumudurog sakin, pilit ko itong itinutulak palayo, ramdam kong napapaso na din ang aking palad, habang si Murphy at Chime naman ay pilit akong pinoprotekhan sa iba pang apoy na na dumadagasa samin, hindi ko na din nakikita kung anong nangyayari kay Cage.

I don't know what happened, but I just felt my eyes closed and everything went black.

I threw the ball of fire on my index finger towards the duo in front of me. Siguro para sakin ay wala lang ito, ngunit kahit na ang isang dominion rank manifestor ay hindi makakalaban sa atake na ito.

Lalapitan ko na sana ang dalawa para ibigay ang gamit ngunit may narinig akong nagsalita.

"Human! Go away from Esther, or I'll detonate my core and take you with me to death." a woman's voice came from the sylph , wait, am I hearing things? I was surprised because...normally contract beasts were not able to talk, tanging species variants lamang ang may kakayahan nun, at napakarare ng mga ganoong nilalang at ibang usapan pa ang pagtame sa kanila.

But the surprise was not yet finished, "human, don't touch this child, or I will do the same as the sylph, it won't be a good scene, I'll tell you that." an aged deep voice came from the turtle, and all of the sudden, the other animals woke up too.

"we will too" a bunch of voice said at the same time, the white foxes started trying to get up on their feet. The gems or crystals on their forehead suddenly glowed.

"me too" the falcon also talked, wait lang!!! Nagulantang ako! Why are there so many variants at one place, the two of them were already able to step at the second triad's power rank with only their selves to rely on, that was already a miracle, I only tried to test their courage and I will take them as my apprentices no matter what happens, after all, they easily abducted a principality level stain, which most manifestor even most students in the academy can't do. Before anything else, I made them drink the medicine first and their complexions grew from pale to normal, and their condition became better.

"well, that was nice!" I said. A mischievous smile appeared on my face.

A strong air sign stellium and A water sign stellium with a deviant ability of enchantment, both having variants as contract beasts, hahaha! Who you kayo sakin ngayong mga kumag kayo!
