"He can't be yours, Flora. You have a boyfriend at school; don't break his heart for someone who wouldn't spare you a glance." Mrs. Ace advised her daughter sincerely.
Flora frowned slightly at her mother's words and her frown deepened at the last parts. Even though she nodded to show her acquiesce, her expression made it clear that she wasn't taking her mother's words seriously.
Mrs. Ace nudged Mr. Ace, who also understood his mission and spoke softly. "Control your expression, Flora. Your thought is written all over your face."
"I told you to warn her from getting the wrong idea, not to control her expression. Those two couple are my favorites, nothing can separate them, not even my daughter.."
Mr. Ace cleared his throat and sighed, then smiled at his wife. "It's alright. Don't you trust their firm bond? Don't worry about our daughter. She'll give up if she can't have what she wants."
