  VELLA ZIANNA's POV

    Arriving at the bar I applied with, Cal the manager, the one who hired me seems shocked at my appearance. 

    "Vella! It's a surprise that you came!" She remarked and got near me handing me an apron. 

    "What? Why? I told you. I'll work." That's my answer to her, not getting why she looked so surprised.

    She eyed me. "You don't know? How come? You texted me that you're not going to work here anymore."

    It took me seconds before I realized that it must be Brigitte. "Ahh. It's not me, it's my friend who texted you. She's against of me working here, so..."

    She nodded. "Ahh I get it."

    "Just never mind that. I'm going to work no matter what... When will my duty start?" I just changed the topic. 

    Brigitte is a good friend and she's just being caring and protective to me and to my baby but I already explained this to her. I'll just drift away from what she did.
