Chapter 26 Offending Mrs. Barnes

Brittany cocked her head and looked at Chuck's phone. "Chuck, who robbed you?"

Chuck just looked at her. "Good girl, go play, I have something to do."

"Me too." Brittany said, "What were you robbed of? Equipment?"

Jenny just looked at the two kids and smiled kindly. Chuck was probably having a temper with some online friend. "Come on, sleep. I'm too tired."

Chuck ran out the door, clutching his phone. "I'm going to my room."

He looked at the message from Stupid Bird on his phone screen, not wanting to pay attention to him.

[I think you can solve my problem.]

[I don't know who you are, but there's a closeness to you.]

[Buddy, I need your help.]

Message sent by Holmes' Tears: [What do you think about the news online?]

Stupid Bird replied: [Nicole is my fiancée and I can't leave her behind because of some gossip.]
