A Monster Lurking In The Dark

When Goranu saw the remains, he immediately ran to the elder and asked him of the bodies and weapons. "Why were there human remains in the storage !?" Then the elder told him that it was found by a hunting party. "Why did you keep the bodies? What killed them." The elder then said. "We kept them because they had good weapons and armor. We dont know what killed them but there were bite marks and scratch marks, but something was strange about it since it also bite marks from snakes."

Goranu then goes quiet and goes to a corner of the cave to think. "There were bite marks and scratch marks but also snake bites, that means it could be a chimera."

[Chimera are magical beasts which have the body of a lion, a snake for a tail, a goat on its back, and sometimes has wings] Goranu then calls the newly level 10 Rishya. "Hey Rishya, lets go to the forest!"

When they go deep into the forest, they see two black bears using dark magic, fighting each other. " Seems like a tough prey to hunt." They then approach a little closer. Goranu spots a human encampment nearby. One of the bears then expands his arms and kills the other bear and throws him towards Goranu and Rishya. "This is bad, our covers blown!" Goranu then grabs Rishya and dodges one of the bears attack. "Imperial flame!" Gornau aims it at the bear, the bear is burning, with it's flesh tearing off of its body.

The bear furious expands his arms again, and aiming it at the ground, Goranu jumps, and the trees falls on Goranu and Rishya. "Aaagh!" Rishya screams in pain. Goranu runs and grabs his knife and grabs a long, straight branch and makes a spear. Goranu throws it with all his might towards the bear, hitting between it's eye's, killing it. Goranu runs towards Rishya and tries to lift up the tree but cant, he then remembers about the bears ability to expand his muscles."Wait a second Rishya." He then cuts a part of the bear and eat's it with it's fur.

[Skill: "Muscle Manipulation" "Muscle Regeneration" "Pain Nullification" "Strong Body" Acquired. Now able to use dark magic.]

"Dark magic? Whatever I need to use Muscle Manipulation."

He then uses it to strengthen his muscles. "It's so painful, it feels like I worked out for a thousand days. He then uses Muscle Regeneration and Pain Nullification. "Much better." He then lifts up the tree with ease. "Rishya, are you okay?" Rishya clearly in pain says. "I'm fine." Goranu then tries if Muscle Regeneration can heal her. "Nothing, seems like its her organs." Goranu then tells Rishya to rest.

Goranu hears a rustling in the bushes. "Who's there?" Goranu shouts. A hunting group of goblins then come out with weapons in hand. "Seems like some goblins are copying what I do." One of the goblins then speak. "I'm so sorry, we didn't that you were goblins." A sudden is then heard. Something flies above them. "The chimera!" Goranu then grabs Rishya and places her in safe spot. "Stay there." Goranu with spear in hand warns the others to prepare.

The chimera then lands, looking at them with a menacing look on its face. half of the goblins then rushes towards the chimera. "Stop!!" Goranu shouts, but it was already to late. The chimera then blows fire and burns them to a crisp. "Help!" One of them says, he then turns into ashes. Goranu terrified, stands there. "I just got reincarnated yet I have to die again." The chimera then rushes towards Goranu, still in a trance. "Goranu!!" Rishya shouts, snapping him out of it. He then dodges the chimera. He expands his muscles and throws his spear in the chimeras eye. "Dammit, I missed." The chimera roars, alerting the nearby human encampment.

Humans in armor then rushes towards there. "Humans, this is gonna be bad." Goranu says. He then grabs the goblins and Rishya towards the cave, but they were surounded. They then scared of the chimera and captured the goblins. "I knew this was gonna be bad."
