I'm a baby, haha! A baby human. A baby human with human parents and human hands, and tiny feet that kick and. Oh look, pink human toes. I'll kick kick kick. Look at that! I've kicked off a blanket! So powerful! This is awesome. Fist shake to the max!
Aves looked around her human nest. A soft mattress made of linen padded her back. Her nurse, Paulla cooed and rubbed her rounded pink tummy. This child was cute! Her little feet were cute. She inherited a button nose cottony soft hair from her mother. Her heroic brow and strength of grip as she squeezed her nanny's finger was inherited from her bear-like father. Her big blue eyes didn't focus very well, but they darted around as if they took everything in. Aves was pulled up and placed on Paulla's shoulder and the nanny bounced her way to a rocking chair. Sitting in her chair was her mother, sighing as she once again placed Aves to one of her mother's engorged breasts. They became hot and heavy and leaky when it was time for Aves to feed as if they knew that the baby was hungry. They even leaked when the child cried. It was a kind of mother magic.
Pwooo! The child burbled as Aves drunk her fill. She'd never drunk milk as a baby bird. This was a new experience. It felt warm and thick as it travelled down to her empty baby tummy. Small hiccups punctuated the air as Aves was put to her mother's shoulder and patted. A resounding burp shook her pink body. Small bubbles popped from her rosy lips as the eructation continued. Her mother looked upset as she rubbed and rubbed the baby's back. Aves blew multicolored bubbles into the air one by one. They floated gently into the room, Paulla's eyes wide as each bubble exploded into elemental magic. Pop, a woosh of flame. Pop, a chilled ice blue steam. Pop, a burst of white light. The baby hadn't even had the church's blessing yet, but she overflowed with magic power a few days after birth. Extraordinary.
Paulla's heart beat a little fast as one of the spit bubbles hit the bedroom wall. A four centimeter green circle had imbedded into the wall, eating away the stone. The bubble had destroyed a layer of thousand year old granite. Dangerous. So dangerous. Paulla silently prayed to the goddess of light, putting a hand to her heart that this child grew up safely and didn't kill anyone accidentally.
