What men and women want?

What do men really want? What do women like to read? These questions will be answered by this series. I am a male author, seeking to answer women's questions through numerous short stories. Find out the answer yourself, as I only give clues at first. As a man (and an anime fan), I also know what men want and I am here to provide short stories for men's fantasies as well. Power? Love? Mystery? Let's get on with it... ***** Chris was once a normal acting human who, as explained in previous books gained so much power he can actually destroy universes in an instant. But, he was thrust into an "otherworldly" plane where nigh omnipotent females run the show. These females still had their own fantasies like normal women do, and they shaped reality according to what they want. Now, our anti-hero Chris found himself as a puppet (and a lucky one at that) in the worlds of these nigh omnipotent females...Will he ever break free of their drama and antics? Fortunately, Goddess Athena, who is a mother figure to Chris, arrives to help. (He later realized that Female chromosomes (XX) are superior/larger than men's (Xy), and that the "Grand Designer" was female, after all, making him question the Supreme Being. But, more on that later)... The females are the main characters in their Omniverses, with Chris being the secondary character shaped according to their whim. While some females had celebrity names, it is quite plausible as celebrities can be alive, legally young, and nigh omnipotent in another universe, if we are to assume the "many worlds" interpretation....Or, the Goddess-like beings copied their appearance and perhaps even more curvy or busty than before. This goes for anime characters as well. Stories in order: Thriller/Mystery, Romance/Ecchi, Science fiction, Thriller + Romance.

Volume 1, Chapter 7: Late for Flight

13. Presley Weber

13. Thriller. Star. (964 rating)

As the sun began to set over the bustling airport, Presley Weber anxiously checked her watch for what felt like the hundredth time. She was running late for her flight to Paris and the thought of missing it filled her with dread. She clenched her jaw as she weaved through the crowded terminal, the sounds of people chattering and suitcases rolling blending into a chaotic symphony around her.

Presley's heart raced as she spotted her gate in the distance, a small flicker of hope igniting within her. With a burst of energy, she picked up her pace, her eyes locked on the digital display showing the boarding time ticking closer to departure. But just as she reached the gate, a voice called out to her.

"Presley! Wait up!" Chris, her ex-boyfriend, was running towards her with an urgency in his voice that she hadn't heard in years. Presley froze in her tracks, her heart sinking as she realized he was about to cause her to miss her flight.

"What are you doing here, Chris?" Presley demanded, trying to keep her voice steady despite the frustration bubbling up inside her. She had thought she had left him behind for good, but here he was, standing in her way once again.

"I need to talk to you, Presley. It's urgent," Chris pleaded, his eyes searching hers for a glimmer of understanding. Presley felt a pang of nostalgia as memories of their past relationship flooded her mind, but she quickly pushed them aside. She didn't have time for this. She needed to make her flight.

"I don't have time for this, Chris. I have to go," Presley said firmly, trying to brush past him. But Chris grabbed her arm, his grip tight and desperate.

"Please, just listen to me for a minute. It's about your safety, Presley," Chris said, his voice low and urgent. Presley frowned, confusion flickering across her face.

"What do you mean, my safety? What are you talking about?" Presley asked, her curiosity piqued despite her frustration. Chris hesitated for a moment before leaning in close to her ear, his words sending a chill down her spine.

"There's something you need to know about your flight. It's not safe, Presley. You need to get out of here now," Chris whispered, his eyes flashing with fear and determination. Presley felt a shiver run down her spine as she looked into his eyes, seeing a depth of emotion she had never witnessed before.

Before Presley could respond, a voice crackled over the loudspeaker, announcing the final boarding call for her flight to Paris. Panic surged through her veins as she realized she was running out of time. She turned to Chris, her eyes wide with uncertainty.

"Chris, what are you trying to tell me? What do you know?" Presley asked, her voice trembling with a mixture of fear and confusion. Chris took a deep breath, his gaze unwavering as he spoke.

"I can't explain it all right now, but I promise you, your life is in danger if you get on that plane. Trust me, Presley. You need to leave this airport and disappear before it's too late," Chris said, his words hanging in the air like a haunting melody.

Presley's mind raced as she tried to make sense of Chris's cryptic warning. She knew that he had always been a bit unpredictable, but something in his eyes told her that he was serious this time. With a surge of adrenaline, Presley made a split-second decision.

"Okay, Chris. I trust you," Presley said, her voice filled with determination. Without another word, she grabbed his hand and together they bolted towards the exit, leaving behind her flight and the life she had known.

As they ran through the airport, dodging security guards and confused travelers, Presley couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She glanced over her shoulder, her heart skipping a beat as she saw a group of mysterious figures in black suits following closely behind them. Chris gripped her hand tighter, his face a mask of determination as they raced towards the unknown.

Finally, they burst through the doors and into the fading light of dusk, the cold air hitting them like a wave of reality. Presley and Chris stumbled to a stop, gasping for breath as they looked around, unsure of where to go next. But before they could catch their breath, a familiar voice called out to them from the shadows.

"Well, well, well. It seems you two have finally caught on," a sinister voice said, sending chills down their spines. Presley and Chris turned to see a man in a black suit stepping out of the shadows, a chilling smile playing on his lips.

Presley felt a surge of panic as she realized that they were not out of danger yet. Chris stood in front of her, a look of fierce protectiveness in his eyes as he prepared to face whatever threat lay ahead. With a defiant glare, Presley stepped forward, ready to confront the unknown.

The man in the black suit chuckled, his eyes glinting with malice as he spoke.

"You thought you could run, but you can't hide, Presley. You're going to wish you had taken that flight to Paris," the man said, his voice dripping with mockery. Presley's heart raced as she braced herself for what was to come, knowing that her life would never be the same again.

Together, Presley and Chris faced the darkness with courage and determination, ready to uncover the truth behind the mysterious warning and the dangerous forces that lurked in the shadows. As they stood on the threshold of a new chapter in their lives, they knew that the road ahead would be filled with danger, intrigue, and the unknown. But they would face it together, united in a bond forged in the chaos of a chance encounter in an airport.

Flashback:

Presley Weber stood anxiously in line at the airport, her heart pounding in her chest as she watched the minutes tick by on the departure board. She was cutting it close, as always, but she had promised herself that she wouldn't miss this flight. She had to make it to her best friend's wedding, no matter what.

As she anxiously shifted from one foot to the other, her eyes were drawn to a man standing a few people ahead of her in line. He was tall and lean, with tousled blond hair and a rugged, handsome face. There was an air of confidence about him, a sense of ease that seemed at odds with the chaos of the airport around them.

Presley couldn't tear her gaze away from him, sensing something familiar in the way he held himself, in the way his eyes scanned the departure board just like hers. She felt a sudden surge of curiosity, a desire to know more about this mysterious stranger who seemed to be as rushed and determined as she was.

As the line slowly inched forward, Presley found herself standing right behind the man, close enough to catch a whiff of his cologne, to feel the heat of his body radiating through the thin fabric of her blouse. She couldn't help but steal glances at him, admiring the way his muscles shifted under his shirt as he adjusted the strap of his carry-on bag.

Suddenly, the man turned around, his piercing blue eyes locking onto hers. Presley felt her heart skip a beat as she stared into his gaze, feeling as though she could see right through to the very core of him. There was a spark of recognition in his eyes, a flicker of something that made her pulse quicken.

"Chris," he said, holding out his hand to her. "Chris Hartley. And you are.?"

"Presley," she replied, taking his hand in hers and feeling a jolt of electricity shoot through her at his touch. "Presley Weber."

There was a moment of silence between them, a charged energy that seemed to crackle in the air around them. Presley felt as though she had known Chris her entire life, as though they were old friends who had been separated for far too long.

"Are you rushing for a flight too?" Chris asked, breaking the spell that had settled over them.

Presley nodded, feeling a rush of relief that he had spoken first. "Yes, I'm trying to make it to my best friend's wedding. I promised her I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world."

Chris's eyes softened at her words, a hint of understanding passing between them. "I know that feeling all too well. I'm rushing to catch a flight to see my sister. She just had a baby, and I can't wait to meet my new niece."

Presley couldn't help but smile at the thought, feeling a warmth spreading through her chest at the way Chris spoke of his family. She admired the way he put them first, the way he was willing to drop everything to be there for them in their time of need.

As they finally reached the security checkpoint, Presley and Chris found themselves ushered into separate lines, forced to go their separate ways. But before they parted ways, Chris turned to her, a glint of determination in his eyes.

"Presley, would you mind if I took you out for a drink when we both get back from our trips? I feel like there's something special between us, something worth exploring."

Presley felt her heart leap in her chest at his words, a rush of excitement coursing through her veins. She knew in that moment that Chris was someone worth taking a chance on, someone who could change her life in ways she had never imagined.

She nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "I would love that, Chris. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us."

And with that, they parted ways, each heading towards their respective gates with a newfound sense of hope and possibility in their hearts. As they boarded their flights and soared through the sky towards their destinations, Presley couldn't help but feel as though she was flying towards a new beginning, towards a love that was written in the stars.

Presley Weber was standing in the bustling airport terminal, nervously clutching her suitcase as she scanned the departures board. Her heart was pounding with a mixture of excitement and anxiety as she realized she only had a few minutes before her flight was scheduled to take off.

As she hurried towards the gate, she felt a sudden jolt in her chest. Instinctively, she placed a hand over her heart and felt a strange humming sensation. Confused, she stepped to the side of the walkway and took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.

Suddenly, a voice behind her said, "Are you okay?" Presley turned to see a young man with piercing blue eyes and a kind smile looking at her with concern. "I'm Chris," he introduced himself, extending a hand.

Presley hesitated for a moment before shaking his hand, feeling a strange connection to this stranger she had just met. She couldn't explain it, but she felt like she could trust him.

As they began to chat, Chris mentioned that he was a researcher specializing in advanced technology. Intrigued, Presley shared her own mysterious experience of feeling something strange in her chest.

Chris's eyes widened as he listened intently, and he asked if he could take a closer look. Hesitant but curious, Presley agreed, lifting her shirt to reveal a small scar on her chest. Chris gently placed his hand over her heart and closed his eyes in concentration.

After a few moments, he opened his eyes and said, "You have a robotic heart." Presley's eyes widened in shock as she processed his words. She had no memory of ever having surgery or receiving a mechanical heart, but she couldn't deny the sensation she had felt earlier.

Little did she know, their journey was just beginning. With Chris's expertise in technology and Presley's newfound abilities thanks to her robotic heart, they were a formidable team ready to take on whatever challenges came their way.

As the plane took off, Presley looked out the window with a sense of determination. She was no longer just an ordinary girl heading to her destination. She was a futuristic heroine with a robotic heart, ready to embrace the unknown and fight for her own truth.

Together, Presley and Chris embarked on a mission that would test their limits, challenge their beliefs, and ultimately reveal a world of secrets that neither of them could have ever imagined. But one thing was for certain - they were in it together, bound by fate and united by a shared destiny that would change their lives forever.

14. Olivia Rodrigo

14. Thriller. Nothing (694 rating)

Olivia Rodrigo was always running late. It seemed like no matter how early she started to get ready, something always managed to delay her, whether it was her alarm not going off, or getting stuck in traffic. It was a frustrating habit that had gotten her into trouble more times than she could count.

One evening, as Olivia rushed to make it to the closing time of her favorite book store, she knew she was cutting it close. She had been looking forward to browsing through the shelves all week, and she wasn't going to let a few minutes stand in her way. As she sprinted down the street, she saw the neon sign of the store flicker, signaling that it was about to close.

With a burst of energy, Olivia pushed herself to run faster, her heart pounding in her chest. She could see the door of the bookstore getting closer and closer, but just as she reached out to grab the handle, it swung shut in front of her. She had missed it by mere seconds.

Frustrated and out of breath, Olivia pressed her hands against the glass door, trying to peer inside. It was then that she noticed a figure in the shadows, a man standing behind the counter. She couldn't make out his features in the dim light, but she could sense that he was watching her.

Desperate not to miss out on her evening of browsing through new books, Olivia knocked on the door, hoping that the man inside would hear her and let her in. To her surprise, the door creaked open, and the man stepped back to allow her entrance.

"Closing time was a few minutes ago," he said, his voice low and gravelly. Olivia noticed his piercing gaze, and she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something off about him.

"I'm sorry, I lost track of time," Olivia stammered, trying to sound apologetic. "I promise I'll be quick."

The man nodded, but Olivia could sense a tension in the air between them. She quickly made her way to the shelves, pulling out books and scanning the titles as fast as she could. As she browsed, she couldn't shake the feeling that the man was watching her every move.

Just as Olivia was about to make her selection and head to the counter to pay, she heard a noise behind her. She turned around to see the man standing there, a chill running down her spine.

"Are you enjoying your time here, Olivia?" he asked, his voice dripping with malice.

Olivia's heart raced as she realized that the man knew her name. Panicking, she made a move to run towards the door, but the man was faster. He lunged towards her, his hands reaching out to grab her.

In a moment of pure instinct, Olivia fought back, pushing him away with all her might. She scrambled to her feet, her heart pounding in her chest, as she made a run for the door. The man pursued her, his footsteps echoing through the empty store.

As Olivia burst out into the street, she realized that she was in a deserted part of town, with no one around to help her. She ran as fast as she could, her only thought to put as much distance between herself and the man as possible.

With adrenaline coursing through her veins, Olivia's mind raced with the realization that she had narrowly escaped a dangerous situation. She knew that she had to be more careful in the future, to always be wary of strangers and trust her instincts.

As she finally made it home, she collapsed onto her bed, the events of the evening replaying in her mind. She knew that she had come dangerously close to a dangerous situation, and she vowed to never be late again, to always trust her instincts, and to never let her guard down.

From that night on, Olivia Rodrigo was always punctual, always aware of her surroundings, and always ready to defend herself if the situation called for it. And as for the mysterious man in the bookstore, she never saw him again, but she knew that she would never forget the fear that he had instilled in her.

This particular evening, she had planned to stop by her favorite bookstore on the way home from work to pick up a new novel she had been eagerly awaiting. However, as usual, she found herself sprinting down the street, breathless, just as the bookstore was closing its doors for the night.

Desperately, Olivia pushed open the heavy wooden door and stepped inside, the warm glow of the overhead lights welcoming her. She breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that she had made it in time. As she made her way through the aisles, browsing the shelves for the book she had come for, she couldn't help but notice a man standing at the counter, talking to the store clerk.

Chris was his name, and he had come to the bookstore to buy a gift for his sister's birthday. He had been browsing through the shelves, lost in thought, when he heard the door open and saw Olivia rush in. He couldn't help but be intrigued by the beautiful woman with the disheveled hair and breathless expression.

As Olivia reached the counter, she finally found the book she had come for and handed it to the clerk to purchase. Chris turned to leave, but something made him pause. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing an opportunity. Taking a deep breath, he turned back to Olivia.

"Excuse me, miss," he said, his voice hesitant. "I couldn't help but notice you seem to be in a hurry. Is there something I can do to help?"

Olivia looked up, surprised by Chris's unexpected offer. She could see the genuine concern in his eyes, and something about him warmed her heart. She couldn't help but smile.

"Actually, I was just in a rush to get this book before the store closed," she replied. "But thank you for asking."

Chris nodded, a flicker of disappointment crossing his face. But then, a spark of inspiration lit up in his eyes.

"Well, if you're in such a hurry, why don't I give you a ride home?" he suggested. "It's the least I can do since I was the reason you rushed in here in the first place."

Olivia hesitated, unsure of this stranger's intentions. But something in her heart told her to trust him. With a grateful smile, she accepted his offer, and they left the bookstore together.

As they rode in silence, the car filled with a comfortable warmth. Olivia glanced over at Chris, taking in his handsome features and kind eyes. She couldn't believe how easily she had connected with this stranger, how quickly he had put her at ease.

As they arrived at Olivia's apartment, she thanked Chris for the ride and prepared to say goodbye. But before she could step out of the car, Chris reached out and gently took her hand.

"Olivia," he began, his voice soft. "I know we just met, but there's something about you that I can't ignore. I feel like we were meant to cross paths today, meant to meet in this bookstore at closing time. And I don't want to let this opportunity slip away."

Olivia's heart raced as she looked into Chris's eyes, seeing the sincerity and vulnerability he held within them. In that moment, she knew she felt the same connection, the same pull towards this stranger who had come into her life unexpectedly.

Without a word, she leaned in and pressed her lips to his, a spark igniting between them. And in that simple kiss, they both knew that their chance encounter in the bookstore had been nothing short of fate. Olivia and Chris's love story had only just begun, but it was filled with promise, passion, and the infinite possibilities of the universe. Olivia Rodrigo was always running late. It didn't matter where she was going or what time she left, she always seemed to arrive just as the doors were closing. It had become a running joke among her friends and family, who had learned to tell Olivia to add an extra 30 minutes to any planned meet-up time.

On this particular day, Olivia had planned to visit her favorite bookstore, Nothing. Bookstore. Ages. She had been eager to pick up the latest sci-fi novel that had been making waves in the literary world. Olivia had always had a passion for science fiction, using it as a means of escapism from her otherwise mundane life.

As she rushed through the crowded city streets, Olivia cursed herself for losing track of time once again. She could see the neon sign for Nothing. Bookstore. Ages. Up ahead, its soft blue glow beckoning her towards it. With a burst of speed, Olivia sprinted towards the entrance, narrowly avoiding colliding with a group of tourists who were loitering outside.

Breathless and slightly disheveled, Olivia pushed open the heavy wooden door and stepped inside the dimly lit bookstore. The air was thick with the scent of old books and dust, sending a shiver of nostalgia down Olivia's spine. She loved the musty atmosphere of the store, feeling like she was stepping back in time with every visit.

As Olivia made her way towards the sci-fi section, she noticed a strange flickering light coming from the back corner of the store. Curious, she followed the glow, weaving her way through the towering shelves of books that seemed to stretch up towards the heavens.

In the corner of the bookstore, Olivia found a small alcove that she had never noticed before. It was filled with dusty old tomes and strange knick-knacks, giving it an air of mystery and intrigue. But what caught Olivia's eye was the source of the flickering light - a glowing orb that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy.

Mesmerized by the orb, Olivia reached out a hand to touch it, only to be stopped by a deep voice that seemed to echo through the very walls of the store.

"Careful, young one. That orb holds incredible power," the voice said, sending a chill down Olivia's spine.

Startled, Olivia turned around to see a figure emerging from the shadows. It was a man with piercing blue eyes and a knowing smile, his presence commanding the room.

"I am Chris, a traveler from another dimension," the man said, his voice filled with a strange sense of foreboding.

Intrigued by the man's words, Olivia felt herself drawn towards him, the orb forgotten for the time being. Chris explained to her that the orb was a gateway to different worlds, each one more fantastical and wondrous than the last.

With a sense of adventure burning in her heart, Olivia took Chris's hand and allowed herself to be pulled into the swirling vortex of light that emanated from the orb. As she hurtled through the fabric of space and time, Olivia's senses were overwhelmed by a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds that seemed to dance around her.

When Olivia finally opened her eyes, she found herself standing on a lush, green planet that seemed to stretch out for miles in every direction. The skies above were a brilliant shade of purple, with strange creatures flying overhead on shimmering wings.

Chris stood beside her, his expression filled with wonder and amazement.

"Welcome to my world, Olivia. A place where anything is possible and imagination reigns supreme," Chris said, gesturing towards the horizon.

As Olivia took in the breathtaking scenery before her, she felt a sense of liberation wash over her. This was a world where she could be anything she wanted, a world where her wildest dreams could come true.

With a smile on her face, Olivia turned to Chris and said, "Thank you for showing me this incredible place. I never knew such wonders existed."

And with a twinkle in his eye, Chris replied, "The universe is full of mysteries, Olivia. All you have to do is open your mind and embrace the unknown."

But there was one thing that always managed to pull her out of her reverie - her love for books.

Sarah had a deep passion for literature, losing herself in the pages of a good book for hours on end. It was this love that led her to the small bookstore on the corner of her street, a quaint little shop that always seemed to beckon her inside whenever she passed by. But Sarah had a knack for always arriving just as the bookstore was closing, much to the chagrin of the owner, Chris.

Chris was a tall, brooding man with a mysterious air about him. He ran the bookstore with an iron fist, his stern demeanor often intimidating customers who dared to enter his domain. But Sarah wasn't afraid of him. In fact, she found herself drawn to his enigmatic presence, feeling a strange connection with him that she couldn't quite explain.

"Sarah," Chris said, his voice low and gravely. "I've been expecting you."

Sarah's heart pounded in her chest as she stepped closer to the portal, her curiosity overpowering any sense of fear she may have felt. As she reached out to touch the shimmering surface, a sudden surge of energy coursed through her body, sending her reeling backwards.

And that's when she saw her - the Goddess Athena, with her piercing grey eyes and flowing golden hair. Sarah's breath caught in her throat as Athena spoke, her voice like a melodious symphony that echoed through the bookstore.

"Sarah, you have been chosen to embark on a journey unlike any other," Athena said, her gaze piercing into Sarah's soul. "You must travel to the realm of darkness, where shadows reign supreme, and confront the darkness that dwells within you."

Sarah's mind raced as she tried to comprehend the goddess's words. Darkness? Shadows? What did it all mean? But before she could ask any questions, Athena reached out her hand and touched Sarah's forehead, flooding her mind with images and visions that sent shivers down her spine.

In an instant, Sarah found herself standing in a realm of darkness, surrounded by swirling shadows that threatened to engulf her. Fear gripped her heart as she realized she was alone, lost in this strange and foreboding place.

With the help of Goddess Athena, Sarah and Chris emerged from the realm of darkness, their hearts entwined with a love that knew no bounds. And as they stepped back into the bookstore, the golden light faded, leaving behind a sense of peace and fulfillment that would stay with them for eternity.
