His abilities allow him to move incredibly quickly and unnoticed, making him the perfect assassin. His specialty in poisonous gases and clouds would make him perfect for creating clouds of toxic poison to subdue the targets. Meanwhile, Yumiko is a shadow manipulator, she can move around unseen as long as she remains in darkness. Her powers are particularly well-suited for this mission, and she can easily take out targeted heroes with her mastery of the shadows. Together, they make a potent team and are the perfect combination of stealth and deadly force. They have the skills and abilities to quietly and efficiently take out their targets. The heroes will not know what hit them. As the hit man team, Kira and Yumiko are the rogue syndication's primary weapons against the heroes. They have the stealth and skills needed to operate undetected, and their abilities allow them to take out targets with incredible ease. This operation is a comprehensive one, involving the hit man team consisting of Kira and Yumiko, as well the covert operations squad led by Kira and the reconnaissance squad led by Yumiko. Both of these squads are essential parts of the mission. One unlucky fellow has his body, hanged, drawn, and quartered (fastened to a hurdle, or wooden panel, and drawn by horse to the place of execution, where they would be hanged (almost to the point of death), emasculated, disemboweled, beheaded and quartered, their remains are then often be displayed in prominent places across the country to serve as a warning). But there is no clue as to the identity of the killer, and the heroes are left with nothing but speculation. With each hero that falls, the confusion and horror grow among the heroes. No one knows what is happening and everyone is scared of who or what could be responsible; is it a new enemy or an old foe that has returned to exact revenge? The heroes are left reeling and in disbelief at the sudden and bloody deaths of their former comrades. Due to the sudden gruesome and unexplained death of many well-known heroes, the Heroes' Renaissance led by Kiyoshi begins investigating the connection between these murders.

As the investigation continues, even more deaths pop up, but the heroes' renaissance is getting closer and closer to the truth. They begin to connect the dots and find any similarities or patterns between the dead heroes. They analyze their cases and investigations and begin to piece together a picture. Something is happening and they are closing in on it. The heroes' renaissance is determined to solve the mystery and get to the bottom of this conspiracy. With each new death, they get closer to revealing the truth behind these killings, but the mystery keeps getting more and more complex and the answers seem further away. They know they are on the right track, but the truth seems just out of reach. They continue to follow every lead, following whatever new clues and evidence that they can find. Even if it seems like they are going in circles, they know there is a pattern somewhere and that they are missing something important. The heroes' renaissance will not rest until this case is solved. Through their tireless work and investigation, the heroes' renaissance has finally noticed a pattern in the dead heroes that are being targeted. Though some of the victims seem to have nothing in common, there is a certain pattern that they are following. The heroes' renaissance is now on the trail of this pattern, and they are determined to crack the case. They have narrowed down the pattern of victims and they know that there is a connection between these heroes that the killer is trying to eliminate. The victims were carefully chosen, and the heroes' renaissance are going to figure out why.

The heroes' reputation was already hanging by a thread after the rogue Syndicate reveal and the heroes' renaissance was the only thing keeping it from falling completely. The heroes' renaissance was stuck in a difficult position, on one hand, they knew that they could not allow these corrupt heroes to continue their actions and were in the process of investigating their crimes, but on the other hand, they could not let the public know about the crimes of these heroes as it would destroy the reputation of all heroes and might even plunge the world into a crisis. With the public's anger growing more and more with each new death that occurred, the heroes renaissance was at an impasse.

It appeared that the streak of deaths had finally Ended, and the heroes could finally breathe a sigh of relief. After a week of constant dread, the darkest day seemed to have ended. The public's anger was slowly subsiding, and people were finally starting to relax. The heroes' renaissance had restored some semblance of order and peace. On the other side of town, Ren was still being trained by Zeref and Daisuke in order to have a chance of challenging Akuma. While they were still outmatched, the trio were determined to at least put up a good fight. Ren had been pushed to his limits, and his training was a grueling and intense process, but he would not back down. Ren had been training his nature magic to its peak, improving his command over plants and the elements. Daisuke's geomancy abilities have also advanced, allowing him to manipulate the ground and earth in new and more intricate ways. Zeref's titan ability had also been enhanced considerably, allowing him to wield even more mana to power up his physique, strength, and overall power output. The trio were ready, though the odds were still stacked against them. Now it was time for the exposé, Enma set up a broadcast as usual, but this time, instead of a fight, there was an exposé. Yumiko and Kira took center stage as they began exposing the crimes of every hero who was killed in the recent mass killing known as "The Darkest Day". With each new revelation, trust in heroes was breaking down, and the public were enraged, but slowly, it seemed like things were starting to sink in and people were beginning to understand that not all heroes were vile and corrupt. 

The public were finally starting to grasp that the heroes they had grown up with and believed in were not what they thought they were, First the day of Ren's famous speech, then the Hero Gala Raid where they heard the truth from the "heroes" mouths themselves, and now, finally, "The Darkest Day". It was a dark and upsetting day for many, but at the same time, it was a day of revelation, and the truth was finally coming to light. The old generation of heroes was crumbling and being replaced by a new generation that promised to be better and more honorable. The Heroes Renaissance was making a name for itself, and it was only the beginning. The public were left reeling from the revelations, but they were also left with a lingering hope. The Heroes' Renaissance had given them a chance to believe again, that there could be heroes who were truly good and honorable. It was a dark and troubling day, but the truth was out and the dark clouds hanging over the heroes were finally clearing. The old generation was going, making space for the new. The Heroes' Renaissance was coming. While the public were left troubled and devastated, Zeref, Daisuke, and Ren held high hopes. Ren had been training hard and steadily improving, Zeref had increased his capacity to wield mana, and Daisuke had reached new depths in his control over earth. They were ready to face the challenges that lay ahead, and they knew that this time, things would be different. With the broadcast coming to it's inevitable end, the Rogue syndicate had one final message they wanted to leave the public with. they announced that they were coming for Akuma's head, that they were prepared to uproot him from this world. These villains were determined to take down the strongest hero once and for all, and they would not rest until their mission was completed.

With the end of the broadcast, information about Akuma was released to the public. Everyone was appalled at the information presented regarding Akuma and it was only natural that even Kiyoshi, the one who had been rewarded for his supposed "heroics" should be shocked at the true nature of such a "hero". Akuma was not the shining example of heroism as he was touted to be, in fact, he was a despicable figure who had abused his power and brought misery onto the world. The whole world was left shocked and disgusted, and people's faith in the heroes were truly shattered. After the revelations, it was safe to say that Akuma's reputation was destroyed. He was exposed as the despicable villain that he truly was. People's faith and trust in the heroes were truly shaken, and for a while, it seemed as if there was no hope for the remaining heroes. The Rogue Syndicate really had done a number on Akuma's image, and it would take some time for the heroes to restore their public image. Akuma's status as a beloved hero had been completely undermined and destroyed by the Rogue Syndicate's actions. His image as the strongest hero and a shining symbol of honor had been tarnished and ruined. Akuma had become a hated villain and it would take some time for the heroes to rebuild their image in the minds of the public. The Rogue Syndicate really had struck a blow against the heroes, and it would take some time for things to recover. Akuma's end was near, for the second time ever, the first being "The Great Uprising". This time around, the public, the normal citizens, supported and rooted for the villainous Rogue Syndicate in their hunt for Akuma. They were fed up with the corrupt old guard and were ready to side with the rogues against what they perceived to be a greater evil.
