Chapter 84: A Face That Need a Beating

At first, Leon really wanted to report the matter about Li Yexing and the two humanoid B.O.W.s to Hunnigan. After all, it was too dangerous to have two monsters running around in volatile Eastern Europe.

But Li Yexing's maid, Rita, told him that he would be in danger if he spoke out. Leon wasn't a very rigid person, so after weighing the pros and cons, he decided to back down.

But now he had a new idea.

Perhaps giving the two girls to the government wasn't a good choice. Leon had witnessed the terrifying combat power of the two monster girls, and he couldn't guarantee that the US army could capture them without casualties. How many people would be sacrificed in this war if the capture operation was approved and executed?

Of course, there was actually a simpler way, to quickly control Li Yexing and force the two monster girls to surrender. But Leon honestly admitted to himself that he couldn't do such a thing.

In the end, Leon wasn't voluntarily working for the US government either. After the Raccoon City incident, the US government threatened Leon with the safety of Sherry Birkin's life, forcing him to become what he is now. After a while, Leon suddenly said, "Li, Ada was right. You're a good guy."

"You too. I knew you were a good guy when I first met you," Li Yexing replied with a smile.

"Oh, come on!" Leon said. "You pointed a gun at me the first time we met."

"That's because I knew there were no bullets in the gun," Li Yexing explained.

They looked at each other and smiled. It was then that the truck began to slow down.

Li Yexing and Leon looked out and saw their truck driving over a not-so-short cement wall and then slowly stopping next to a row of trucks with the Tricell logo on them.

Rita brought Lilith to the door of the back of the truck and bowed slightly to Li Yexing, saying, "We have arrived, Master."

Li Yexing patted Leon's shoulder and then they got off the truck.

The bald middle-aged man, John, standing next to them, smiled and said to Li Yexing, "Welcome to our Tricell Pharmaceutical camp in Malvia."

Following John's direction, Li Yexing looked up and saw a large area of barracks, and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes. It had to be said that international pharmaceutical companies were wealthy and powerful.

These large and dense barracks didn't look like they were temporarily built at all. Compared to the slums they saw in the town last night, these clean and orderly barracks were much better. They were clustered around a three-story white building in the middle.

"This is considered the rear of the Government Forces front line, and we try to build the camp as close to the front line as possible so that it is more convenient for us to transport the wounded," John said with some pride as he saw Li Yexing's surprised expression. "As for that building, it is the operating room and ward for severely injured patients, as well as the office building for local high-level officials. When he arrived in front of John, he hung up and looked up, asking, "Where is he?"

"This is Mr. Li Yexing, a security contractor from Edonia," John introduced Li Yexing to the man.

"Just call a mercenary a mercenary, why make it sound nice like a security contractor or something..." The man waved his hand impatiently and turned to look at Li Yexing, asking, "Are you the mercenary? The Mad Dog of Roples?"

Looking at the person in front of him who seemed oddly familiar, Li Yexing didn't answer his question directly, but instead asked in return, "What did you say about something that could be directly put into the mouth and it will be more effective?"

"Oh, that's a special medicine still in the trial phase. If you're interested, I can help you get some in a while..." The person who answered Li Yexing's question paused, then stared with his not-so-pretty big eyes and asked, "Hey, buddy, you haven't answered my question yet."

"Mr. Irving, please show some respect for Mr. Li..." John's face looked a bit unpleasant as he stepped forward to persuade the man, but the man pressed his palm against John's face and pushed him away slowly, looking impatient.

"It's okay, baldy. Leave it to me. I know better how to deal with these guys than you do..." The man pushed John aside and looked at Li Yexing with his eyes slanted, sticking his little finger in his ear and saying contemptuously, "Anyway, we're both working for money. I think it's more appropriate for us to talk this way, right? Mr. Mercenary?"

Li Yexing looked at the man who was asking for a beating and a darkened smile appeared on his face.

"You're right, Mr. Irving."

"See! See! What did I say?" Irving, as he was called, immediately clapped his hands excitedly when he saw Li Yexing's darkened face. He turned his head and said to John, "He and I are of the same kind, to tell the truth. I can smell the stench on this guy from ten meters away. He has the same scent as scum and villains as I do."

"Master, may I tear this guy's mouth apart?" Rita, who was standing behind Li Yexing, asked softly, her face wearing an elegant smile but her eyes full of cold killing intent.

"You can, but there's no need." Li Yexing gently reached out to stop the somewhat impulsive Rita while his face showed a smile.

He remembered who this guy was with a face that begged to be beaten up - Ricardo Irving!
