"Do you Chinese tourists carry guns now?" Leon asked with a slightly teasing smile. "Perhaps we can be frank with each other. Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I came here on a business trip, and though I knew the situation here was unstable in advance, I didn't expect it to be this bad..." Li Yexing said sincerely, and indeed he did not lie.

Leon looked at the Chinese man in front of him. He wasn't tall, not even compared to the generally taller Westerners, and though his muscles were not bulging, they were strong. He emitted a faint aura of danger, a characteristic of someone who frequently opens fire to kill people, and combined with his skill and ruthlessness in handling enemies outside the door just now...

'I thought it was a colleague from China, but now it seems more like an assassin or a mercenary,' Leon thought after observing the Chinese man.

"Come on," Leon said, laughing. "You just faced those two Rebels outside, and why did you shoot them continuously in the chest?"

"Of course, to kill those two guys. You saw it too, they can take a lot of bullets," Li Yexing explained.

"If you simply wanted to kill them, you could have shot them in the head. But you chose to shoot them in the chest..." Leon stared into Li Yexing's eyes and asked forcefully, "What exactly did you want to kill?"

Without giving Li Yexing a chance to explain, Leon continued, "Las Plagas, a parasitic creature originating from Europe. It attaches to the host's spine, connecting to the central nervous system. Shooting their chest is a good choice if you want to kill them, even though it's a waste of bullets, it's effective."

As he spoke, Leon looked at Li Yexing and said, "I saw you empty your magazine into those two guys' chests. Otherwise, do you think I'd just let you point a gun at me?"

The atmosphere in the small room became tense.

Just then, cries could be heard from outside the window.

Li Yexing and Leon both leaned out to look outside the window, only to see two Rebel Forces men dragging a black woman out of the house. In front of the crowd, they stripped off her clothes and began to move around like monkeys.

Just as Li Yexing was getting tired of such scenes, he saw the agitated Rebel Forces man suddenly open his mouth, and four spider legs stretched out from inside. The tips hung tightly around the woman's neck, and a bone spike like a straw slowly extended between the four spider legs, piercing the woman's neck.

One man finished, and another took his place. They tossed the woman aside like garbage in the alley and left, laughing and joking.

"Did you see that?" Li Yexing asked Leon.

"I saw it very clearly. Those guys, they are infecting people," Leon said to Li Yexing with a serious look on his face. "The earliest Las Plagas needed to infect others through external injection of insect eggs or through the food, but now they seem to have the ability to actively infect other hosts. That bone spike was essentially an injector that could inject parasite eggs into other bodies."

"You seem to know a lot about these things..." Li Yexing said casually.

"I've been observing these guys for a long time," Leon said. "But if you want to talk about knowing, you also seem to know a lot about these guys, don't you?"

"Believe it or not, what I'm telling you is the truth. I was also swept up into this, and I had no idea that this place would be like this," Li Yexing said, looking innocent in response to Leon's questioning. "So what do you suggest?" Li Yexing asked.

"The answer is simple..." Leon looked at Li Yexing and said. "We fight our way out."
